Meir Kin "The Liar" Speaks Out in a Video During His Shivah Denying He "made any decisions"

The lying rat says in the video that the Rabbanute never contacted his family and that he never agreed to "any conditions."

He says that there is a "Get waiting in Monsey Bais Din for 10 years" ...
without explaining that the Get is tied to a $350,000.00 Ransom....

Both the Ashkenazic and Sephardic Rabbinates in Israel issued letters some years ago that they will not recognize or accept any actions by this Bais Din .

That includes marriages, gittin, and geirus. There are plenty of other letters that similarly proclaim anything done by this BD as not reliable, one noted beis din even refers to it as a joke.

One of the leading Raabis of this Bais Din, Tzvi Dov Abraham of Monsey resides in a cemetery today. He died several years ago.

Sadly, there are many agunos who actually had gittin deposited in his BD, which he then held for ransom, including money, and the women had to agree to give up children and forfeit child support.

Meir "the rat" also doesn't tell you that he remarried 5 years ago ...

He also doesn't mention that it was a Bais Din in New York that asked the Rabbanute to enforce its decision of "Not burying the Yenta Kin" because of his  refusal to divorce his wife ....

Rabbi Lau with the blessing of Rav Yaakov Kanievski held up the burial ... until a deal, which he denies was made, was struck ...

He sanctimoniously talks about the "Yerushalyim Minhag" of not allowing a dead body to be left overnight .....but doesn't talk about torturing his wife who is alive, for 16 years!!!!!

He mentions that Rabbi Lau is a relative of his wife ...
but doesn't mention that Rabbi Lau was following the
NEW YORK BAIS DIN PSAK!!!

He contradicts himself by saying that Lonna is his "wife" and then saying there is a get!

Rabbi Lau's office reacted to the video by issuing a denial, saying the deceased's family members appealed to the Great Beit Din to allow the deceased's burial after the Chief Dayan upheld the decision of a United States Beit Din to prevent burial until a promise to divorce was forthcoming:

"After the family members signed a prepared document before the Great Beit Din, stating that they would take on the responsibility of complying with the court's instructions - that the refuser would grant the divorce, and after approving the $20,000 bond, the Beit Din approved the burial.
"We regret that the refuser continues his crooked conduct and is now attacking the Beit Din."

The Chief Rabbi's office continued:

"The Chief Dayan of the Great Beit Din will continue his uncompromising war on the phenomenon of divorce refusal and will do everything in his power, including the most severe sanctions, to end any case of get-refusal that may develop."

A phone bill could show whether there was a phone conversation between Rabbi Lau and Kin. If there was such a conversation, then The Rabbanut should produce evidence which should be easy enough to produce if true.

If what it takes to free Lonna is $350,000, then why have they not raised that money over 10 years? Ora with all of it's public support, publicity and fundraising channels, should be able to accomplish that easily over 10 years. Jews manage to raise much larger sums than that for worthy causes. Unless of course the fight and slander is far more valuable to them then helping 'unchain' Lonna.

If the community raises $35,000 and pays off to him, then what is to stop other men from demanding that kind of money from their wives in order to grant them a get.

Here's a great interview with Lonna (first 28 minutes) from about 5 years ago:

I am not presenting a solution to all world problems. I am merely showing that this particular 'aguna' story is not honest. Because she could easily be helped if that was the goal. I don't know how that would effect the world at large, but it would easily solve her issue. Her life is in shambles and it can easily be resolved. But then all of the propaganda would stop so it isn't worth it. She is the victim of Ora and it's ilk much more than she is the victim of Mr. Kin.

I appreciate and respect DIN for allowing me to present my point of view.

It's very difficult to get people to donate money for blackmail by a conniving husband.
He has no right to hold his wife hostage for a $350,000 ransom payment and people wouldn't donate to such a thing.

There's a special place in hell for such husbands.

I don't know the story, but it is very likely that Mr. Kin is not a nice person at all. But do we care to beat him or to help her? What you say that it's very difficult etc. is baloney. A good askan, maybe even a go fund me with a prominent person introducing the cause. People with experience in such things know that $350K is a relatively small amount of money to raise and it would not have taken very long at all to raise that amount.
