Skverer Hypocrites Flooding Rockland County with "Shtiebelich" but Prohibit Jews From Living Anywhere Near New Skver Want it to be Judenrein just like Nazi Germany!

Years ago, New Square’s leadership issued a letter asking Orthodox Jewish families not to purchase homes within approximately one mile of the village.
The explanation was explicit.
New Square needed to remain an “isolated corner” and a “secluded shtetl.” The letter warned that if other frum families moved too close, Skver children could be exposed to different standards of business, shopping and tznius, threatening the community’s supposed “high level of purity.”
The message was unmistakable:
Stay away from us.
Do not move near us.
Do not allow your families, institutions and children to come too close to ours.
We must remain isolated. We must remain separate. We must remain pure.
Yet today, Skver families are being encouraged to move directly into the established neighborhoods of other frum Jews.
There is a growing Skver presence on McNamara Road. The Francis Place shtiebel continues to expand. There is a Skver girls’ school on College Road. And now another shtiebel has opened near New City with the reported encouragement of the Rebbe himself.
So where did the concern for isolation go?
If living among Jews with different customs, shopping habits and standards is so dangerous, why is New Square leadership encouraging its own followers to establish outposts throughout greater Monsey?
Why are Skver families permitted to live among us, while we are told that living near them threatens their purity?
Isolation in One Direction
No one is demanding that Skver families leave Nanuet, New City, Wesley Hills or any other neighborhood.
No one is calling for their shtieblach to be closed.
No one is claiming that their children threaten the character or purity of our communities.
The surrounding Monsey community generally accepts a basic principle: Jews have the right to live, daven and build institutions wherever they may legally do so.
But that principle must work both ways.
New Square cannot insist that its followers may expand throughout the surrounding region while demanding that the surrounding region remain frozen a mile away from its borders.
It cannot celebrate new Skver communities inside other neighborhoods while describing other Jews moving near New Square as a spiritual danger.
It cannot say, “Stay away from us,” while steadily moving closer to everyone else.
That is not isolation. It is a one-way policy of control.
Choose One Standard
New Square’s leadership must choose.
Either living among the broader frum community is acceptable, in which case the entire justification for the mile policy collapses.
Or living among other frum communities is genuinely dangerous, in which case New Square leadership should explain why it is encouraging families, shuls and schools to expand throughout greater Monsey.
They cannot reasonably claim both.
Skver families are welcome to live among us. They are welcome to establish shuls among us. They are welcome to educate their children among us.
But the same right must be extended to everyone else.
The original letter should be withdrawn. The mile policy should end. And the families harmed by it deserve acknowledgment and an apology.
Until then, each new Skver outpost will expose the same glaring contradiction:
The mile only runs one way.
'Absolute chaos' Thousands of migrants rush Spanish border, prompting call for national emergency
Thousands of migrants ” totally collapsed” border fences and flooded into the tiny Spanish territory of Ceuta from Morocco Thursday — spurring local officials to urge Spain’s government to declare a national emergency.
Spain announced it would deploy military units to reinforce police in Ceuta after hordes of people, mainly Moroccans, busted into the North African enclave.
“The situation is absolute chaos,” said Rachid Sbihi, head of the association that represents Spain’s Civil Guard officers in Ceuta, who police the border.
“It’s not possible to give precise numbers, but there are thousands of migrants crossing,” Sbihi said, adding that the border between the two countries had “totally collapsed.”
Chaotic footage captured hundreds of migrants swimming over from the Moroccan side of the Tarajal border using inflatable inner tubes and flotation devices, as others smashed through a gate in a fence and ran into the city.
Young men, women, and children shouted “Viva España!” — or “Long live Spain” — after overrunning the border.
At least three people died attempting to swim to Ceuta, according to Sbihi and activists.
The human tide, stretching roughly three miles long, overwhelmed the Moroccan police, according to local outlet EFE Noticias.
Moroccan authorities began using riot gear, tear gas and water cannons as they tried to disperse the crowds, the outlet reported.
Eventually, hundreds began retreating back into the northern Moroccan town center of Castillejos to spend Thursday night there — before attempting to breach the border again.
Meanwhile, residents of Ceuta were sheltered in their homes as a massive influx of migrants — many of whom were only wearing swimsuits — shuttered shops, bars and restaurants, the outlet said.
Spain’s Interior Ministry said the Moroccan government was “closely cooperating” to handle the breach, and that Moroccan police are thwarting “numerous people” trying to break through the border.
Three platoons of 20 soldiers each, a diving unit and a military vessel would be deployed by Friday to curb the surge of migrant crowds, the agency explained.
Fernando Grande-Marlaska, the Spanish interior minister, will also travel to Ceuta on Friday to assess the situation.
Both countries agreed to work together “for the return, as soon as possible, of all the people who entered Ceuta illegally.”
Achraf Maimouni, a member of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights in northern Morocco, described the situation as ‘’exceptional.’’
“The Tarajal border was opened under unusual circumstances this morning, and people crossed,’’ he said
Meanwhile, the White House blamed the incident on Europe’s implementation of “far-left, globalist policies.”
“President Trump has long warned Europe what would happen if they continue to implement far-left, globalist policies, including enabling mass migration,” White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly told Fox News.
A similar incident unfolded in 2021, when roughly 10,000 people from Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa overran Ceuta.
“Spain and other countries who have adopted this destructive philosophy should immediately reverse course or risk their own demise,” Kelly said.
Poll suggests Bruce Blakeman closing in on NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Satmar's Girlfriend!
Nassau County executive Bruce Blakeman is within striking distance of incumbent New York Gov. Kathy Hochul in the gubernatorial race, according to a new poll conducted by a pro-Blakeman super PAC.
The poll, reported by the New York Post, suggests that the Republican challenger is trailing the Democratic governor 47%-43%, with 10% undecided.
The Samar endorsed Hochul is underwater by 20% in a survey of her favorability, and 58% of respondents hold an unfavorable view of her.
Some 2,000 registered voters participated. More than 60% said that Hochul does not deserve a second full term in office, and only one-third of those polled said New York is going in the right direction.
Blakeman is only viewed favorably by 30% of those surveyed, but 47% held no opinion or hadn’t heard of the lower-profile Blakeman, who describes himself as an “almost Orthodox” Jew who is active in Jewish and Israel advocacy efforts.
The Nov. 3 general election is less than 100 days away, and despite most indicators suggesting voters are unsatisfied with Hochul, she holds a major cash-in-hand advantage over Blakeman, with more than four times his amount at her disposal.
The Blakeman-aligned poll is seemingly an outlier, with Hochul comfortably ahead in most other surveys. Hochul was also set to breeze past then-congressman Lee Zeldin in the 2022 race, only to sneak by with only a 6-point margin of victory.
Blakeman was elected to a second term as county executive in 2025, leading an area with 1.4 million residents, which of late has helped play a deciding role in control over Congress.
Hochul, who had largely been viewed positively by New York’s Jewish community, has lost some support in the wake of her endorsement of socialist Zohran Mamdani, an accused antisemite, in the New York City mayoral race.
Netherlands bans Israeli goods from Judea, Samaria and Golan, threatening violators with jail

The Netherlands will prohibit trade in goods produced in Israeli communities in Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights beginning September 22, adopting one of Europe’s most extensive national restrictions on commerce connected to the areas in question.
The temporary sanctions decree bans goods produced wholly or partly in Israeli communities included on a European Union postal-code list used to distinguish those areas from pre-1967 Israeli territory. It prohibits bringing the products into the Netherlands, purchasing or selling them directly or indirectly, arranging transactions involving them and attempting to circumvent the restrictions.
The measure was signed by King Willem-Alexander on July 13 and published in the Dutch official gazette on July 21. It is scheduled to enter force two months after publication and will expire after three years unless extended by legislation.
Although frequently described as an import ban, the decree reaches considerably further. It covers products containing materials or components obtained from the targeted communities and prevents Dutch citizens and companies from buying the goods elsewhere in the EU. It also applies to brokers arranging transactions even when the products are destined for another EU country.
Federal Judge Recommends Severe Sanctions Against Mr. Shmuley Boteach In Hotel Defamation Case
A federal magistrate judge has recommended severe sanctions against Shmuley Boteach, including striking his answer and counterclaim and entering default judgment against him, over repeated violations of court orders in a defamation case brought by a Florida hotel.
The suit stems from a December 2024 incident in the lobby of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where Boteach says he was the victim of an antisemitic verbal attack that the hotel failed to properly address.
The hotel sued Boteach for defamation, alleging he falsely claimed it discriminated against him for being Jewish, permitted the antisemitic incident to occur, removed him rather than the alleged aggressor, and refused to cooperate with police. Boteach countersued, alleging civil rights violations and tortious interference.
According to the magistrate's report, the sanctions dispute centers not on the underlying merits but on Boteach's conduct during litigation. Boteach posted surveillance footage of the incident to his Instagram, which has over 90,000 followers, on multiple occasions after a protective order barred such disclosure — including once after being told to remove it, and again months later despite an explicit warning that further violations would be treated with "the utmost seriousness." He was previously ordered to pay $15,000 in fees over one such violation.
Separately, the district court had directed Boteach in February to stop social media attacks referencing the hotel and its counsel, after finding communications had grown "toxic" and expressing being "deeply disturbed" by his conduct, including an attempt to serve legal papers at an address belonging to a child of the hotel's owner.
The magistrate found Boteach continued posting about the case and opposing counsel afterward regardless, including a May post alleging a family member was threatened in Jerusalem by someone invoking the hotel's attorney, and another questioning whether that attorney appeared in files connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
The magistrate noted Boteach admitted under oath that his posts were meant to pressure the hotel and its counsel to reconsider their litigation strategy, and concluded that lesser sanctions had already failed to produce compliance. The recommendation also includes an award to the hotel of attorney's fees tied to the sanctions motion. The recommendation now goes to the district judge for final decision.

Man whose birth was declared a ‘miracle’ by Pope Leo XIV arrested for double shooting
A Rhode Island man — whose birth was recognized by Pope Leo as a miracle after he was deprived of oxygen for over an hour before recovering without medical intervention more than a decade ago — has been arrested in connection with a double shooting.
Tyquan Johnson, 19, was captured by the US Marshals fugitive task force at an apartment in Virginia Wednesday morning after he was wanted for allegedly shooting two people, the Newport Police Department announced.
Johnson is accused of committing the crime in Newport, RI on July 19 and allegedly fled to Virginia as officials issued a warrant for his arrest.
Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Johnson has been charged with felony assault with a firearm and firing in a compact area, police said.
The arrest comes almost exactly a year after Pope Leo XIV declared Johnson’s 2007 birth the first miracle of his papacy and the first ever recognized miracle in Rhode Island, the Boston Globe reported.
The stunning connection came to light when law enforcement released his arrest warrant with Johnson’s photo, name and date of birth matching those of the man Pope Leo had recognized in July 2025.
Johnson was born prematurely on Jan. 14, 2007, at the former Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket.
The newborn was suffering from oxygen deprivation and other symptoms that showed no improvement after 65 minutes, leaving doctors with little hope he would survive, according to the Diocese of Providence.
The attending physician, Juan Sanchez-Esteban, prayed to 19th-century Spanish priest Valera Parra for intervention in saving the child’s life, according to the Boston Globe.
Just as Sanchez-Esteban was about to deliver the devastating news to the child’s parents, a nurse stopped him and told him the child “suddenly recovered” and his heart had started beating without medical intervention, he told the outlet.
The doctor — who is from the same region of Spain where Parra was a priest — said the boy should have suffered permanent brain damage from the lack of oxygen, but instead lived a life completely free of any complications.
The investigation into the miracle began more than 10 years ago — with a bishop in Valera Parra’s native Spain sending investigators to Rhode Island in 2014, Father Timothy Reilly, Chancellor of the Diocese of Providence, told WJAR last year.
The Diocese of Providence announced that Pope Leo XIV declared Johnson’s recovery a miracle on July 18, 2025.
“The cool thing is, the more you think about the miracle itself, Father Valera lives in the 19th century,” Reilly said. “He never came to the US. We have no knowledge of him coming here. Never came to Rhode Island. And yet, because the doctor called out and called upon his name for help in the situation back in ’07 on behalf of that little baby, he decided to intervene and ask God for a miracle.”
Parra was a diocesan priest, archpriest and parish priest of Huércal-Overa who lived from 1816 to 1889.
Ben Gvir fires back at Eisenkot: Defeatist morality
A social media clash erupted between National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the "Yashar!" party.
The spat began when Eisenkot posted a tweet featuring an interview clip alongside the caption: "There is no leadership there, no strength, and no Judaism."
Minister Ben Gvir was quick to respond, posting a reply tweet accompanied by an old video of Eisenkot from his tenure as Head of the IDF Operations Directorate.

Israel cracks down on Uman-bound draft evaders
The Population and Immigration Authority has recently changed its enforcement procedures at Ben Gurion International Airport, effectively preventing individuals subject to exit bans, including haredi draft evaders, from leaving Israel through the country's main international airport.
According to a Wednesday report by Galei Zahal (Army Radio), the move is intended to stop thousands of draft evaders from traveling to Uman ahead of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year).
Until now, exit-ban checks were conducted only at passport control, after passengers had already completed check-in and reached the departure gates.
The method allowed them to bypass the control system and board their flights despite being subject to an exit ban.
Under the new procedure, the check is carried out during the check-in process. Passengers subject to an exit ban will be unable to complete their flight registration, and the airline will be notified immediately, effectively closing the loophole.
The Population and Immigration Authority said, "In recent months, the departure process has been streamlined. It was decided that anyone subject to an exit ban will be informed at the beginning of the departure process from Israel rather than at the end, enabling them to resolve the matter before proceeding."

This is how murderous Arab attacks against Jewish residents in the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria, aka the “West Bank”, are being reframed as Jewish “settler violence” against Arabs by enemies of the Jewish people.
Last Friday morning, a group of Jewish hikers walked into the village of Tel in Area B, an area under joint Israeli-Palestinian Authority security control and where Israelis aren’t allowed to enter without prior co-ordination, not having been cleared by the IDF to do so.
According to accounts by Jewish community organizations and in the Israeli media, verified by video footage, they came under attack from Arabs throwing stones and swinging clubs, striking one hiker in the face. The hikers fired warning shots in the air and retreated towards Israeli-controlled Area C.
One hour later, dozens of Arabs converged upon them from three directions. IDF soldiers arrived, the Arabs started shooting but, according to the hikers, the Israeli soldiers refused to open fire. Video footage shows them hesitating in an attempt to de-escalate. Only when an Arab wrestled a rifle from a civilian guard and shot dead (warning: distressing footage) an IDF soldier and a civilian guard did the IDF troops open fire, killing four Arabs.

He studied at Yeshiva University and Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, and later served as a Jewish Studies teacher in several New York area day schools, where he influenced generations of students. He also served for many years as the Baal Shacharis and Baal Tokeiah at the Orthodox shul in Quincy, Massachusetts, where his parents were pillars of the local Orthodox Jewish community.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pnina, their children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Charedi enlistment rises sharply
The number of haredi recruits joining the IDF has risen steadily in recent years, according to data from the IDF Manpower Directorate published by Yedioth Ahronoth. The figures show annual increases of more than 1,000 recruits, reflecting a significant shift in enlistment trends.
According to the report, several factors have contributed to the rise, including growing public pressure amid the army's severe manpower shortage, Supreme Court rulings that led to stricter enforcement of enlistment obligations, and a transition from institutional sanctions to measures targeting individuals.
Before the outbreak of the war, the IDF enlisted approximately 1,700 haredi recruits each year. That number increased to about 2,200 during the first year of the war through July 2024, climbed to roughly 2,800 by July 2025, and has now surpassed 4,000 recruits over the past year.
The IDF says it has introduced a range of initiatives aimed at accommodating haredi service members while preserving their religious lifestyle. These include the establishment of the Hashmonaim Brigade and dedicated service tracks such as the Kodkod program.
Despite the increase in enlistment, military officials say the army continues to face a critical manpower shortage. According to the IDF, it is currently short approximately 7,500 soldiers, as well as a similar number of combat support personnel, following more than 950 military fatalities and thousands of wounded since the start of the war.
Defense officials estimate that the enlistment potential within the haredi community is significantly greater, noting that each draft class includes approximately 14,000 haredi men eligible for military service.
As part of efforts to further expand recruitment, the IDF Chief of Staff recently signed a General Staff directive establishing three formal tracks for haredi service. The directive is intended to provide clear guidelines for recruits and rabbinical leaders while formally protecting the rights of haredi soldiers. The army also appointed Brig. Gen. Avinoam Emunah as adviser on haredi affairs, a role that includes overseeing initiatives such as the Hashmonaim Brigade.
The IDF is also exploring additional frameworks, including separate haredi company units and a dedicated training system that would offer officer training and expanded opportunities in combat support and frontline combat roles.

While ascending the Har HaBayit is traditionally prohibited, the rabbis who originally enacted the restriction explained that pikuach nefesh (saving life) overrides it, as the site cannot be left unsecured.
HaRav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt"l ruled that police entry is permissible as long as they immerse beforehand, prompting the construction of an on-site mikveh Medoraysa (built according to biblical stringencies) where officers stand in line during every shift change.
A particularly unique halachic question that arises is the rule on Yom Kippur and Tisha B'Av, given that mikveh immersion is normally not permitted on those days.
A formal responsum was ultimately issued to permit immersion for this vital duty, which was endorsed by HaRav Avigdor Nebenzahl, Rav of the Churva shul.

A Los Angeles-based pastor whose dramatic prayer services regularly go viral is once again at the center of controversy.
After videos from a recent Texas book signing showed followers collapsing, shaking and convulsing as Kathryn Krick prayed over them, there’s been renewed accusations from some Christian leaders that her ministry resembles a cult.
Krick leads Five-Fold Church, also known as 5F Church, in Los Angeles, according to Church Leaders.
The self-described apostle has amassed a massive online following, with more than half a million Instagram followers and a growing presence on TikTok, where supporters celebrate what they describe as miraculous healings and spiritual deliverance.
But the 35-year-old’s explosive popularity has been matched by equally intense criticism.
The latest debate erupted after Krick visited Houston to promote her new book, “Ignite Revival.” Video shared from the event shows attendees falling to the floor, trembling and appearing to convulse as Krick prayed for them and signed books.
Posting footage from the gathering, Krick wrote, “How God moved in that bookstore among the people amazed us!” Supporters claimed people experienced healing from illnesses, emotional trauma and spiritual oppression during the event.
One attendee enthusiastically shared their experience online, writing, “This was one of the best days of my life! I will never forget how powerfully I was touched by the anointing at this book signing. I couldn’t stay on my feet as I stepped forward to have my book signed! So many were beautifully touched.”
However, not everyone was convinced.
One skeptical social media user questioned the unusual physical reactions, writing, “Whoa. A lot happening here.

Krick’s ministry began roughly nine years ago as a small worship gathering after she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue careers in acting and music, per Church Leaders.
She has openly discussed struggling with insecurity while preaching, saying she felt called by God despite doubting her abilities.
Since then, her ministry has grown rapidly, fueled largely by social media, where short videos of dramatic healing services routinely attract millions of views.
Krick also credits her spiritual mentor, Tanzanian minister Prophet GeorDavie, for helping shape her ministry. She has said his guidance played a role in her ability to perform faith healings and cast out demons.
However, those claims have become a lightning rod among other Christian leaders.
Bible teacher Mike Winger has repeatedly criticized Krick’s ministry on Facebook, calling her a “cult leader” who promotes “false teachings” and questionable spiritual practices. He has also questioned why prominent Christian figures have publicly supported her ministry.

Pastor Chris Rosebrough has similarly accused Krick on YouTube of accepting an unhealthy level of admiration from followers that should be reserved for Jesus alone.
Despite the criticism, Krick wrote on Instagram that opposition to her ministry stems from jealousy and misunderstanding, while her supporters continue to defend what they believe are genuine encounters with God.
As videos of worshippers collapsing and shaking continue to spread online, the debate surrounding the Los Angeles minister shows no signs of slowing down, with supporters calling the scenes miraculous and critics warning that vulnerable believers could be placing their faith in the wrong person.

US President Donald J. Trump’s proposed civilian nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia risks becoming one of the most dangerous strategic mistakes in recent American Middle East policy.
Although supporters portray the agreement as a peaceful energy partnership designed to strengthen relations with a key Arab ally, the long-term consequences could be devastating.
The agreement threatens to weaken decades of US non-proliferation policy, ignite a regional arms race, embolden America’s adversaries, and create security risks that future generations may be powerless to reverse.
Congress and the American public should reject the agreement before it sets a precedent that could undermine global efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.
The most controversial aspect of the proposed agreement is that it reportedly allows Saudi Arabia to develop domestic uranium enrichment capabilities under safeguards that fall short of the stringent standards previously demanded by Washington.
While low-enriched uranium is used to fuel civilian nuclear reactors, the same technology can eventually produce highly enriched uranium suitable for nuclear weapons.
The danger is not theoretical.
