Karlin-Stolin Rebbe Says Throw the Arabs Out of the Mosdos!

B"H, we have a leader with some Seichal!

Following the massacre of mispallalim in Kehillas Bnei Torah in Har Nof, the Karlin-Stolin Rebbe Shlita has instructed his gabbaim to get the Arabs out of the chassidus’ mosdos; including schools, shuls and batei medrash.

The rebbe explains that doing so today is tantamount to sakonos nefoshos.

The rebbe is aware that there are Arabs employed in many areas of the mosdos but explains that none of this can justify placing the tzibur in a life-threatening situation.

Better late than never said...

After 9/11 there were several askonim in NY who started a campaign to get Arab workers out of kosher restaurants & supermarkets. This was not a remote suspicion being that Arab workers in a Yerushalmi restaurant were caught trying to poison food and a janitor at at a Canadian JCC with a kosher cafeteria was arrested by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) for being an al Qaeda cell.

Fast forward to a few years ago, I forget exactly which terrorist attack prompted it but a considerable swath of both Bnei Brak gedolim & Dati Leumi / Chardal rabbis issued psakim in writing forbidding the employment of Arabs.

So while the Stoliner Rebbe is to be commended, he is a little late to the party. There are rumors that the Dushinsky Rebbe has also proclaimed this issur today.

Never understood this:

After Hamas blew up the packed buses in the 1990s, the hotels in chiloni Tel Aviv replaced Arab workers with Eastern Europeans. But the Jerusalem hotels full of heimishe Yidden still had mostly Arab staff.

It was really creepy that the whole crew working at Prime Grill have been Arabs. That's why I stopped eating there many years ago.

Even one of Allaham's SY cousins in Flatbush told me he doesn't get what his cousin is doing. He's like, he should know better because we certainly KNOW Arabs from the old country better than you Ashkenazim.
