Though Eliott Engel, whose district has a majority of Jews and represents Holocaust survivors, is basically a two bit coward..... and he decided to keep an anti-American who continues to spew hatred and vile comments about Jews, only because she is also anti-Trump!

Ilhan Omar will keep her place on the House Foreign Affairs Committee despite calls she should step down for making what has been described as anti-Semitic comments.
Minnesota Rep. Omar has come under fire for raising the issue of powerful pro-Israel lobby groups in Washington and linking their influence to donations.
At a public event in Washington last week Omar said she wanted to discuss 'the political influence in this country that says it is okay to push for allegiance to a foreign country'.
The Muslim Democrat lawmaker, who came to America in 1991 as a Somali child refugee, then said supporting Israel was not a pre-requisite for serving in Congress.
Omar also faced increasing backlash after suggesting Republican support for Israel is fueled by donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a prominent pro-Israel group.
House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Eliot Engel, a Jewish New Yorker, said last Friday that Omar should apologize for her 'vile anti-Semitic slur', which was said to have fed into the stereotype of Jews first allegiances being to Israel rather than the U.S.
President Trump even waded into the debate, calling her comments a 'dark day for Israel'.
He wrote on Twitter on Monday night: 'Representative Ilhan Omar is again under fire for her terrible comments concerning Israel. Jewish groups have just sent a petition to Speaker Pelosi asking her to remove Omar from Foreign Relations Committee. A dark day for Israel!'
But it was announced she will keep her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Jerrold tells me all I have to do is pay a few bucks for Ezra Kapolander to explain this away. He'll even use some Mamma Lushen to impress the Holocaust survivors in the district.
