Thousands of Brave Jews Ascend Har Habayis On Tisha B’av

Some 2,000 Jews ascended the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on Sunday to mark Tisha B’Av, the fast day that began the night before that commemorates the destruction of the two biblical temples.

The visits to Judaism’s holiest site took place amid an ongoing conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip-based Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which fired rockets towards the holy city on Sunday morning, setting off sirens in surrounding areas.

Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system intercepted the projectiles.

Among the visitors to the Temple Mount on Sunday was Israeli lawmaker Itamar Ben-Gvir, head of the Otzma Yehudit Party, who told Kan Reshet Bet in a radio interview that Palestinian Islamic Jihad missiles “do not deter me.”

“We are in charge here,” he said, adding, “If we blink, they will continue. If we pound them, they will fold.”

Meanwhile, three Jews were detained on Sunday for violating the Israeli government’s prohibition against Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount, Kan reported. The report cited police sources as saying they had “no intention of allowing any provocations or disturbances in Jerusalem at the site.”

Police said that a number of Muslim worshippers near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is located on the Temple Mount, were also arrested for “disturbing the peace, being provocative … [and] making inciteful remarks.”

Some Muslim worshippers reportedly shouted at Ben-Gvir, “Allahu Akbar,” or “God is Greatest,” and “slaughter the Jew,” to which the parliamentarian retorted: “Am Yisrael Chai,” or “The People of Israel Lives.”

When they shout "Allahu akhbar" they think they're shouting "God is great!" but all we hear is "God is a mouse!"

Nothing brave about it, going up with hundreds of security personal. What it really is, selfish and careless, as if there is only one percent that it will incite further and one person gets killed it was not worth it

Rav Kook Z"l was clear about the prohibition of entering all of the Temple Mount.

There was once a Prince that rebelled against his father the king, the king had no choice and with a broken heart expelled his son from his palace and warned him not to return unless he shapes up . every year on anniversary of that day the king and the Prince where reminded of the rebellion and while it bothered the Prince to be in exile it pained the king even more that the Prince hadn't yet repent. One year as the king was celebrating a national holiday the Prince snuck himself in, the king choose to ignore it after all he was celebrating and the Prince felt a yearning to return, consider that a step in the right direction. Then one year on the anniversary of the rebellion the Prince found his way into the palace, that act enraged the king even more, you came to pour salt on my wound! ..... Well think about it same here! Put halacha on the side, do you think that hashem wanted them there then?

Since you are the one who mentioned "put Halacha aside" let me just say that
You have a parable that never happened and will never happen, but I have a true story.

Do you think that Hashem was happy when he saw hundreds of thousands go up to Har Meron, while ignoring and letting his Har Habayis rot and have his children give sovereignty to Arabs that pee on the Kodesh Ha'Kdashim?

Do you think that maybe just maybe there was a message when Hashem took the holy lives of our best and finest?

Do you think that Hashem is happy when tens of thousands go down to Uman to pray and ignore His place that is overrun by murderers?

Or do you think that Hashem is saying
"Wow! I still have a handful of devout followers that didn't forget My Place, that didn't forget that this is the holiest place on earth. Wow! I have just a few "princesses" that care that My Abode, that is lying in shame, that fight for My dignity.
To those precious holy "princesses" who don't only sing the words but live it.
אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני תדבק לשוני לחכי אם לא אזכרכי אם לא אעלה את ירושלים על ראש שמחתי
"Wow! I have a handful of children that don't look for parables not to go up but are excited to keep this holy place in Jewish hands."

Well. Without getting involved in all these stories, thousands of our ppl went to the kotel last night yearning for the beis haMikdosh to be rebuilt without any fanfare. Just trying to get the closest possible. Without putting anybody in danger. This is beautiful to watch. May we be zoche to see the rebuilding of the temple and ascend the holy site without any doubt. Amen

While I agree the parable is silly. Going up to jar habayis while posting videos denying god’s existence tells me it’s selfish jewish pride rather than wanting to get close to god… just saying

I don’t need this to get posted I’m writing this to you the author whoever you are . I sincerely think you are in a place to influence people and I feel like respectfully I want to be moche. that’s all I’m done.

You humor me! The temple mount is in the hands of the Jordanian waqf, as far as I know the Hashemite kingdom isn't considered Jewish hands. Btw it was the Jewish hands that handed it over to them to preserve the so called status quo. And it's the Jewish hands that give Jewish pilgrims a hard time to visit. So enjoy your so called Jewish country and I'll continue to wait for Moshiach!

This is exactly the definition of an radical extremist:
they all think in shamayim they agree with it! (like a taliban).

such proof could only come from a girl or a very emotional person.

"Without putting people in danger?' What a crazy comment! According to the UN and the Waqf, the Kotel belongs to them also. There isn't a week that goes by that they don't harass Jews going to the Kotel. If Jews stop going up to the Har Habayis, they will start stopping Jews from going to the Kotel. You think davening at the Kotel is not a provocation? You just existing is a provocation. If we give them a finger they will take a hand. You are one naive guy

You scribble:
" So enjoy your so called Jewish country and I'll continue to wait for Moshiach!"

It seems that most gedoilei yisrael didn't wait for Moshiach and made Aliyah. Like the Ramban, R' Yehuda Ha'Chasid, Talmeidei Baal Shem and the Talmeidei Ha'Grah, the Belzer Rebbe, The Gerer Rebbe, The Chazon Ish, R' Chaim Sonnenfeld, The Kloizenberger, The Steipler, etc etc
And the Vilna Gaon and the Chafetz Chayim were making concrete moves to make Aliya.
Yes you remain in the "farshtinkina" Chutz Le'aaretz until they come to round you up. The Jews in Europe before WW2 said the exact same thing but they eventually did leave... thru the chimneys of Auschwitz.

And you make yourself comfortable in the Jewish state that had an official policy not to mention God (as in the letter Abba Eban sent to rabbi gifter on official stationary ) and evicted thousands of Jews of their own land, gave away more territory than what's remaining , had an Islamic party in its government coalition, allows monasteries and mosques to stand while our temple is ruined, can't manage to keep its citizens safe of rockets for more then a year, accepts millions of dollars yearly from evangelical Christians even though they know their true motifs, that operates public transportation on Sabat, now please don't tell me that you are not yearning for the geulah. And btw all those gedolim you mentioned didn't make alliya because they agreed with the government and neither did they consider it a substitute for Moshiach it was just their love of God and his land that led them there.

I never heard such utter gibberish in a long time.
The government isn't perfect and so we need more Jews to make Aliyah to make a difference.
You scribbled that
"So enjoy your so-called Jewish country and I'll continue to wait for Moshiach!"
My reply to you was that the "gedoilim" did not wait for Moshiach to make Aliyah!

As far as an "official policy not to mention God on official stationery is actually totally false and was fabricated by the Satmar Hungarians. In fact, if you go to the Knesset downstairs in the mini-museum you will notice hundreds of letters on official stationery with בס"ד
BTW the Israeli Government is far better than any previous Jewish government we ever had, save a few.
Were the following governments better?
I'll trade the Israeli Zionists leaders with any of the above Jewish leaders.
