Sadly, Rav Zimmerman has direct experience of dealing with such terrible situations and you can hear the pain in his voice when he says "I cannot stay silent".
Fortunate are we to have this Rov in the Chareidi community in the UK.
Unfortunately, the Chareidi community in EY is woefully impoverished in this area, as we can see by the almost complete silence, except for the one or two Mickey Mouse rabbonim who seem to be quite capable of embarrassing themselves as soon as they express their opinions, and do not need any help from social media commentators.
Yes thank you Rav Zimerman and yes he has been very involved in a case in this country the UK but he would never do it again, so he told me, but believe me Israeli chareidim are way mor ahead in such situations than we are in London, yes lately our Rabbonim talk the talk but they are way way way behind in walking the walk in supporting victims, in standing by victims way behind
