A 70-year-old rabbi was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of sexual offenses on a family member as well as a minor, Israel Hayom reported.
The suspect, a Jerusalem resident, was questioned shortly after his arrest following complaints at the Beit Shemesh police station about indecent acts he committed several years ago.
Police will request an extension of his detention for further investigation.

חקירת החשוד החלק בעקבות תלונות שהתקבלו לאחרונה בתחנת המשטרה בבית שמש, בגין חשד לביצוע עבירות מין. על פי החשד, ביצע החשוד מעשים מגונים בקטינים במקרים נפרדים שהתרחשו לפני מספר שנים.
אתמול עצרו שוטרי מחוז ירושלים את החשוד במעשים, ובמהלך היום הוא יובא בפני בית המשפט בבקשה להאריך את מעצרו. החקירה נמש

It only makes me wonder what the guy did to his son in law. Is that why he chose that man for his daughter? If they are gay in the closet and the son in law never looks in his wife's direction... thus a root cause the daughter/wife was missing something, and allegedly expressed herself in the way she allegedly did. Now we also know wy she was protected for so long..
