There is nothing more apikorses (apostasy) and frauds than imposing your version of Hashem (G-D) on other people.

That's how we get avoida zora (idolatry, many gods) and people acting as gatekeepers for their gods and fighting for their gods. Their forcing and fighting says very loudly that their gods are too weak to fight for themselves.

Everyone must be allowed to find their own way to Hashem (G-D) in their heart, mind and soul. Couching and helping people find their way in a positive way is perfect. But negativity or forcing it, is apikorses (apostasy) and avoida zora (idolatry).
