I don't think Israeli Yated even knew about the Chabadsker dollar.

American Yated is of course a totally different story. Pinny stopped attacking Chabad on his own when the hypocrite realized the multi-million dollar windfall that was to be gained. So all of a sudden he becomes Rubashkin's long lost friend. Vehamayvin yovin!
i have a feeling you know the real answer why yated did not publish the petira. Probably because the petira became known after the paper went to press, especially since tuesdays the yated gives out a free newspaper and closes the print early.
But you''ll use anything, even the petira of a choshuve , peaceful person who had no machlokes around him.
