It is ok to approach a Sheila from a Sefer Tora , to view what the Halacha has to say . No one is judging anyone as a person, but there are consequences, that belong In Halacha. I have no idea , what he paskekend and it is not relevant, as there can be many sides to a Halacha Ruling. So don’t get upset, when matters of Halacha are discussed.
