Brings back memories. It was a little bit kosher until the 1980s, when a charitable orthodox Jew named Rubin Margulies bought it. He had it run under the OK first, and then under a local orthodox rabbi. I think he planned on selling it for condo conversions. Not sure who bought it from him, but evidently in spite of all the construction going on in the jewish Catskills, nobody bought the Browns.
