Hillary is sick .... is she also crazy?

Hillary Short Circuited

Recent news headlines tell a dire story:
  • “Trump’s descent into madness: 7 crazy, totally unhinged moments of the past 24 hours” (Raw Story)
  • “Donald Trump Just Gave His Most Unhinged Press Conference Yet” (Vanity Fair)
  • “‘Is Donald Trump plain crazy?’ Big-name writers now questioning GOP nominee’s sanity” (Yahoo News)
  • “Is Donald Trump just plain crazy?” (Washington Post)
  • “Trump’s Mental State Is Becoming a Campaign Talking Point” (NBC News)
Of course, not everyone in America agrees with the media, and if the polls are right, Trump remains within striking distance of Hillary Clinton.
But while everyone is discussing Trump’s sanity, what about Hillary’s?

Talk-radio titan Michael Savage finds it fascinating that the media would focus on Trump’s supposed craziness while failing to explore Hillary’s mental state.
“Very interesting, considering Obama is clearly a sociopathic liar,” Savage, author of “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder,” told WND. “Hillary is a sociopathic liar. Of course they would try to smear a man who built his own empire rather than stealing it from the taxpayers and foreign governments. Of course his mental state intrigues them given their own mental deficiencies and pathologies. To the coelenterates in the media, transsexual songs ring truer, Islamists do not exist and there is no terror, only a lack of jobs. So who is the sickest?”

Hillary Clinton has indeed become well known as a serial liar, as fully two-thirds of Americans, 68 percent in a recent poll, said she was neither honest nor trustworthy. Not only does Clinton lie to protect herself, as she has regarding Benghazi and her private email server, but she lies when there appears to be no benefit to doing so.
For example, she famously claimed she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary for his conquering of Mt. Everest, even though that didn’t happen until six years after Clinton was born. She also notoriously claim she landed under sniper fire in Bosnia in 1996, when newspaper and video accounts revealed exactly the opposite.
“Robert Reich, M.D., a New York City psychiatrist and expert in psychopathology, says compulsive lying can be associated with dementia or brain injury,” Dr. Gina Loudon, a political psychology and behavior expert, told WND. “Otherwise, compulsive lying can be associated with a range of diagnoses, such as antisocial, borderline and narcissistic personality disorders.
“This might explain Hillary’s consistent unlikability factor, along with her consistent denial of lies, even in her lying about FBI Director Comey pointing out that she lied multiple times. Most of America believes her to be a liar, and yet she seems to have zero remorse, even and up to the point of costing American lives.”
In addition to pathological lying, Clinton’s temper has reportedly been a problem in the past. A former military K9 handler described how then-Secretary of State Clinton once flew into a blind rage, yelling “get that f**king dog away from me.” She then berated her security detail for the next 20 minutes about why the dog was in her quarters. After Clinton left after slamming the door in their faces, the leader of the detail explained to the K9 handler, “Happens every day, brother.”
These types of outbursts continued after Hillary left her office as secretary of state. An aide on her presidential campaign told the New York Post last October: “Hillary’s been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left staff members in tears and unable to work. She thought the nomination was hers for the asking, but her mounting problems have been getting to her and she’s become shrill and, at times, even violent.”
According to the New York Post article, this behavior led to concerns that Hillary may have a “serious meltdown” at the wrong time, namely when she was in front of a TV camera.
Not only has Hillary displayed anger problems, she is “often confused,” according to her longtime top aide Huma Abedin. That revelation came in a private email sent in January 2013 that was released after a Judicial Watch lawsuit.
Some of Clinton’s mental and behavioral problems may in fact have a physical basis. In late 2012, she suffered a concussion and a blood clot inside her skull. When she was late getting back to the stage during a Democratic primary debate last December, people thought she was taking a long bathroom break, but a law enforcement source with inside connections wrote on Twitter that she was experiencing a flare-up of problems from her brain injury.
Loudon, a WND columnist and author of “What Women Really Want,” said this is nothing to snicker at. After all, Clinton is running for the highest office in the land.
“Mental illness is nothing to ignore,” Loudon said. “It is dangerous to all involved. Hillary’s behavior might indicate a much deeper, darker mental condition that is flatly ominous. She has had visual, memory, and reasoning issues in recent years, after her head injury. She has endured many subsequent falls, which would be obvious indicators of traumatic head injury.
“Instead of running for president, Hillary could be seeking a medical battery of testing that could get to the heart of what may be a worsening mental disorder, as well as intense therapy and perhaps medication (if she isn’t already medicated), before more lives are lost at the hands of her incompetence.”
She added: “If the condition of someone with such systemic mental conditions worsens, their decision making capacity and overall ability to distinguish truth from fantasy could be impaired. This would be dangerous for the leader of a family, or a company, but it could be devastating for a national leader.”
Loudon said the most damning evidence Hillary is unhinged lies in her assertion that Trump’s praise of Vladimir Putin “raises national security issues” when it was Hillary who risked national security during her time as secretary of state.
“Projection is common in paranoid schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and psychosis,” Loudon said. “Though it is impossible for any expert to diagnose someone without thorough testing, consultation, and observation, any lay person could look back at other leaders in history who demonstrated such chronic conditions, who weren’t stopped until it was too late.”
Plenty of media figures have been helping Clinton’s cause by insisting Trump is the mentally unfit candidate. Yahoo News in an Aug. 2 article pulled together a collection of prominent writers questioning Trump’s sanity.
Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson wrote he was convinced Trump is “just plain crazy.” Vox founder Ezra Klein and Weekly Standard writer Stephen Hayes also labeled Trump “crazy.” Trump’s fellow billionaire Mark Cuban went a step further, calling Trump “bats*** crazy.”
Robert Kagan, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, declared Trump has a “disordered personality.” New York Times columnist David Brooks similarly said Trump “appears haunted by multiple personality disorders.”
Of course, none of these Trump critics is a mental health expert. Marc Fitch, who works in the mental health field and authored “Shmexperts,” said this is all part of the effort of ordinary people to wrap their insults in a scientific veneer.
“They are saying that Trump is mentally ill and they have no way to make that judgment call,” Fitch told WND. “Essentially they are trying to give the impression that they are reasonable and rational – medical, if you will – thinkers, so the public will look up to them as the kings and queens of smart.”
Dr. Drew Pinsky (TV’s Dr. Drew), who is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Southern California, may have disappointed CNN by appearing on the network and refusing to call Trump a sociopath or a narcissist, saying it is too tough to diagnose someone with narcissistic personality disorder at a distance.
But the left has gone on smearing Trump as unhinged. David Kupelian, WND’s managing editor and author of “The Snapping of the American Mind,” has written about how leftists have consistently sought to paint conservatives as mentally ill.
“During the Obama administration we have witnessed, non-stop, the modus operandi of the left, wherein those who through monumental deceit have conspired to transform Judeo-Christian America, upend her Constitution and impose an alien new system of governance and morality upon her, have the audacity to accuse the traditionally minded American middle class, which just wants its country back, of being ignorant, deranged and dangerous.
“Psychologists call this ‘projection,’ where one person or group literally projects its own wrongs onto another. Thus, for decades, the left – which throughout the 1900s gave the world its bloodiest century in history – has been busy denouncing and ‘diagnosing’ conservatives and Christians,” he said.
“Those who complain their once-great country is being overrun with illegal immigrants are branded ‘xenophobic,’ a pathologizing label implying one has a phobia. Opponents of radically redefining marriage are ‘homophobic,’ a made-up pathologizing label. Those objecting to Islamist subversion of the U.S. are ‘Islamophobic,’ another made-up pathologizing label. Same with ‘biphobia,’ for people who don’t like to be around bisexuals, and ‘transphobia,’ for people uncomfortable around transgendered people. A study published last year by Italian researchers concluded that if you consider homosexuality to be disordered, you are the one with the mental health problem!”
On the contrary, notes Kupelian, a recent survey found Democrats are twice as likely as Republicans to suffer from a number of mental disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, Asperger’s/autism, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, narcissistic personality disorder, anorexia and bulimia.
“Ironically – almost comically – the most oft-cited armchair diagnosis of Donald Trump is narcissism,” Kupelian said. “Really? After eight years of Barack Obama, whose behavior as president matches perfectly the clinical symptoms of ‘narcissistic personality disorder,’ now his die-hard supporters are going to try to make that stick to Trump?
“It’s wacky, of course. But then, as former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich recently commented on ‘Hannity,’ ‘I think you have to recognize that the left in many ways has gone crazy.”
