Here's a great point: Rav Adin Steinsaltz, zt"l, was the greatest Torah educator of his time. He revolutionized Talmud study to make it accessible to all. Every readable edition of the Gemara, Artscroll, Mesivta, you name it, they all followed his lead. He wrote commentaries on Tanach, Mishnah, Talmud and Mishneh Torah, the Rashi of our time. He played no politics, educated all that asked and lived simply. And the Chareidi world pretends he never existed. Walder was a serial sexual predator who took other people's stories and made a fortune off publishing them. And he gets a yahrzeit celebration.
