Ukrainian authorities prepare for record 40,000 Jews in Uman

Ukrainian authorities are preparing for a record pilgrimage by tens of thousands of Jews gathering in the city of Uman for Rosh Hashanah.

Authorities are expecting up to 40,000 Jewish pilgrims ahead of the Jewish New Year, which this year falls on Sept. 20, the Ukrainian Government Press office told the ZN news website Tuesday.

In previous years, local authorities estimated that the annual pilgrimage brought 25,000 to 30,000 visitors to Uman — followers of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, an 18th-century luminary whose gravesite is the focal point of the celebration. Rescue forces are carrying out exercises at the main congregation points of the visitors to be able to respond effectively to any emergency, the Unian news agency reported Tuesday.

Authorities in Ukraine have improved access to Uman in recent years, with plans underway for reopening a disused military airport near the city for direct flights. Uman is located in central Ukraine, 150 miles south of Kiev and 200 miles south of Odessa.

The synagogue is part of the Ohel complex built near the gravesite of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.

Isn't he your גדול הדור?
Sounds Satmar'ish, so now it's time for you to attack him as well

What Rav Shteiman said has absolutely nothing in common with the criminally insane Satmar shit-a,what Rav Shteinman said was yes- organizing a boycott against Germany might have been a mistake, well human beings make mistakes all the time and so did most of Hungarian Rebbes and Rabbonim make a deadly mistake by prohibiting their followers to move to Palestine when it was still possible (unlike the Gerrer rebbe, who encouraged his chasidim to leave Europe and thereby saving tens of thousands of lives).
Whereby the ugly and insane claim of the Satmar Rav as expressed in his antisemitic and anti Eretz Yisroel manifesto "VAYOEL MOSHE" was that he has no doubt that the reason six million Jews were gassed and burned (including one and a half million holy Jewish children) was for the sin of Zionism,in other words for the sin of wanting to go back to our God given and promised Eretz Yisroel Hashem decided to burn and gas six million of our KEDOSHIM,
This is the ugly and evil insanity that has poisoned the minds of tens of thousands of young Jews.
How dare you associate Harav Shteinman with this evil insanity

The above quote from Harav Shteinman has been proven to be Fake News. He never said that...
But here is what R' Shlomo Zalman Auerbach z"l thought of Rav Hagoan Avraham Yitzchok Kook z"l and that's been proven to be 100% true:

This talk about Zionists hisgarut against Nazis are false. You @ 3;00 am , don't show us rabbinic quotes, show evidence and facts of events . When you're a Jew you automatically are migorer with anti-semites. Goebbels propaganda movies showed jews with beards and koptes in order to degrade them, never showed Zionists. Zionist bashers are born liars and take everything out of context, for your information, Nazis were ok with Zionism in order to rid themselves of Jews , until the yemach shemo guy took a hard line especially after Britain forbade immigration and after meeting with the mufti.

3,00 @%%%%,
In the future, someone in the USA will dig up a letter by a rav condemning your boys who voted in politicians who were libs, who helped the moral decline in this country, just for programs and programs regardless of the stinking morality, and who sold their souls for money and favors, so if you want to start with letters then let's keep going. Schiools, OTD on the rise, , etc.
Tou want letters? let's go then.

the organizations that called for the boycott weren't necessarily Zionists but it shouldm't matter because anyone who thinks that hitler yemach shemo didn't plan for murder in the beginning is naïve.

In mein kampf he outlines his policy against Jews and this was Before he got elected.
the Nazis already boycotted Jewish shops before , this is from Holocaust Encyclopedia;

After the Nazis came to power in Germany on January 30, 1933, the Nazi leadership decided to stage an economic boycott against the Jews of Germany. In 1933, about 600,000 Jews lived in Germany, less than one percent of the total population. Most Jews in Germany were proud to be Germans, citizens of a country that had produced many great poets, writers, musicians, and artists. More than 100,000 German Jews had served in the German army during World War I, and many were decorated for bravery.

On April 1, 1933, the Nazis carried out the first nationwide, planned action against Jews: a boycott targeting Jewish businesses and professionals. The boycott was both a reprisal and an act of revenge against Gruelpropaganda (atrocity stories) that German and foreign Jews, assisted by foreign journalists, were allegedly circulating in the international press to damage Nazi Germany's reputation.

On the day of the boycott, Storm Troopers (Sturmabteilung; SA) stood menacingly in front of Jewish-owned department stores and retail establishments, and the offices of professionals such as doctors and lawyers. The Star of David was painted in yellow and black across thousands of doors and windows, with accompanying antisemitic slogans. Signs were posted saying "Don't Buy from Jews" and "The Jews Are Our Misfortune." Throughout Germany, acts of violence against individual Jews and Jewish property occurred; the police intervened only rarely.

Although the national boycott operation, organized by local Nazi party chiefs, lasted only one day and was ignored by many individual Germans who continued to shop in Jewish-owned stores, it marked the beginning of a nationwide campaign by the Nazi party against the entire German Jewish population. A week later, the government passed a law restricting employment in the civil service to "Aryans." Jewish government workers, including teachers in public schools and universities, were fired.
This was all before the boycott of Germany that happened later on.
Anyway, nobody except for you 3;00 ever thought that a holocaust of this destruction would ever happen, you're looking hindsight from your ass.

DIN, nice of you to bring a partial quote from that liar and muckraker - Shaulson whose blog that comes from.

However you left out the part where he further describes Rav Kook "not a great Chochom nor a small Shoiteh" (Actually the Rogetchover is known to have described him as a "meshugener")

As for the story about the Jewish pogrom enraging Hitler YMSH, this actually comes from that universally recognised Tzaddik - Re Michoel Ber Weissmandl ztl"
Presumably that is where Rav Steinman got it from.

Any of you great geniuses here including DIN, ever read hos sefer "Min Hameitzar"?

Rabbi Weissmandsl got some things wrong and if he said what you say he said, it's an opinion not a fact, these are two different things . Can you show evidence what the Rogochover was supposed to have said? There wasn't a single gadol who didn't praise Rav Kook Zatzal even if they disagreed with him. Your Rogochover assassination is absolute loshon horah, and since you're into the Rogochover, are you also into the Chafitz Chaim who assered such disgusting talk?
It seems you yourself are not such a big chochom if you believe that hitler yemach shemo was reacting to boycotts and didn't have a plan to murder jews Gypsies Slavs from the start and he was evil from the beginning, in fact you're pretty stupid.

Bob %%%% do you mean the Rabbi Weissmandl who jumped out of the cattle car carrying his family to death camps and he himself cut a board and saved himself alone?
