The author of "perfidy" was written by Ben Hecht who in his early life was a self-hating Jew and wrote a novel called "A Jew in Love" which portrayed Jews as pigs. Please cite examples where there is a "conscious effort to remove them from Torah & Mitzvois" I live in Israel and I don't see it. "lehepach" as a teacher in the public schools in Israel we have Rosh Chodash celebrations we had to teach about Shemitah there are classes of Kashrut and Shabbat. We have special celebrations before each and every Yom Tov. Yes there is a way to go but to say that there is a "conscious effort" is an unmitigated lie!

In Israel there is no such concept as "mixing church & state" in fact just this year, Israel gave 1.5 billion shekel to moisdos haTorah including kollilim.
The curriculum in secular schools is set by the Misrad Ha'Chinuch and a part of the Chinuch are courses in Yehadus. In fact this is required to all PS students to pass the "bagrut" tests to enter High School.
