All Voters in Israel just had their data leaked in ‘grave’ security breach

All 6.5 million voters in Israel have just had their personal data leaked, reports the New York Times. The full names, addresses, and identity card numbers are among the information that was leaked about every eligible voter in the country. In some cases, phone numbers were also leaked.

The leak happened through a vulnerability of the website promoting an app called Elector. The app itself, however, did not leak the data. The NYT says a flaw was found on the website of the app that allowed anyone to right-click on the website to view its source code. Inside that source code was the user names and passwords for the website’s admins. Anyone who found these usernames and passwords could then log into the site and download a database with information for every voter in Israel.

The flaw in the website was discovered on Friday by an anonymous tipster who disclosed the vulnerability to the Haaretz newspaper. It’s unknown whether anyone actually took advantage of the flaw; however, doing so would take no hacking skills whatsoever. Anyone who knew about the flaw could access the data with a few clicks.

After news of the flaw broke, Elector issued a statement to Israeli news media claiming that the event was a “one-off incident that was immediately dealt with.

Bnei Brak Gedoilim Sign Letter Against Those Who Testify Against the Sexual Predator BERLAND!

A letter handwritten by Bnei-Brak Gedoilim mimics a letter that Gedoilei Hador wrote in support of Shabsai Tzvi when he was incarcerated in Turkey...

The letter in support of Berland is handwritten and signed by the Gaaved of the Bais Din Tzedek of Bnei-Brak, Harav Sereil Rosenberg (pictured) and Dayan Rav Yeedil Fisher the official representative of Eida Hacreidis and  Rav Shimon Badni, a member of the Moetzes Chachmei HaTorah..

Hikind tweeted that the event “was fine until Rashida Tlaib showed up.

Lipa Schmeltzer Sells His Shul

Singer Lipa Schmeltzer has sold his house and shul to a Satmar chossid who will turn the shul into a Chassidishe shteibel.

The house and shul located on Moray Street in the town of Airmont, New York, includes a tunnel connecting them underground.

Schmeltzer founded the shul about 10 years ago and built it with an artistic design and a unique musical style: musical instruments on the windows, and a harp-shaped Ahron Hakodesh.

“I sold it a lot less than I wanted to, and that’s fine too,” Lipa told Kikar Shabbos. “I am glad that there is someone who will continue to do what I did in this shul – bringing people closer to the Torah and the Mitzvos.”

Question:
Lipa.....Wasn't the shul built from money collected from wealthy and not so wealthy donors?

Did they in fact donate the money to you personally?

Or was the money donated for a shul to be built...

"You sold it a lot less that I wanted to?"

Wasn't this money "hekdish?"

Why is Lipa Schmeltzer Running Around Trying to Get Rabbonim to Sign Against Rabbi Shmiel Naiman?

We discussed previously that there is a Rabbi in Monsey, Rabbi Shmiel Neiman, who understands people, understands the mindset of the Chareidie world,  and who has given over 800 Shiurim discussing Shalom Bayis, Halachos, Minhagim, the differences of Halacha and Minhagim... etc etc..and who continues to draw gigantic crowds
.....is being harassed... by the Monsey Askanim and actually managed to get him fired from the Viznitzer Yeshiva after having given shiurim there for over 28 years!

He is the son of the well known Viznitzer Dayan, Harav Nissin Naiman shlitah..

Well davka, because he actually makes a lot of sense, some Monsey askanim felt threatened and got a "kol korah" signed by prominent Gedoilim against him, accusing him of heresy..

What wasn't reported or said was that practically all the Gedoilim that signed this "kol korah" denied ever signing it and some Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva that reportedly signed the "kol korah" don't know who he is and never even heard of him...

The backers of Harav Neiman had enough of these "do gooders" askanim and their BS and their bulling tactics and so they opened a shul in the heart of Monsey and appointed him Rav with a large stipend to boot!

Not so fast ... 
the same "askanim" that had harassed Lipa Schmeltzer when he with good humor wrote songs that brought out the hypocrisy of the Chareidie world... and became "oif'ge'klert" ..... made his life so miserable that he could no longer make a parnassah in his own chassidic circles ..

have now, that he converted back to the chassidic society.... recruited him to run around like a poisoned rat to get genuine signatures to continue the harassment of an innocent Rabbi that is slowly but surely changing the backward mindset of the Chassidic world ...to bring them to reality of the 20th century ....

If this rumor is in fact true, then Lipa has learned nothing from his experiencies .... and has now become the "tuchis lekker' for these sick askanim who apparently feel threatened by a potential Gadol Yisroel with a real message to Klall Yisroel ...

Chassidim have a lot to contribute to society and the Torah Velt ...
and so does Harav Shmiel Naiman!

Jona Rechnitz and his Kardashian Connections

A former crony of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is accused of using his alleged links to the Kardashians to lure victims in a diamond fraud scheme.

Jona Rechnitz, who was already sentenced to 10 months jail after pleading guilty in a corruption scheme, is now facing a separate fraud lawsuit involving $15million in gems.

Although they have no direct connections to the alleged scheme, Rechnitz shared footage of himself partying with Kim Kardashian at a November jewelry show in New York in an attempt to convince a judge to 'go easy on him' during December's sentencing. 

In this latest fraud, however, Rechnitz is alleged to have used the jewelry show as a way to draw in more victims to his fraud.

AIPAC Cowards APOLOGIZE for ads calling Democrats ‘radicals’ pushing ‘anti-Semitic’ policies

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, "Jewish Cowards" apologized for and removed at least four Facebook ads that slammed “radical” Democrats in Congress, including one that said Israel’s harshest critics in Congress pose a threat “maybe more sinister” than ISIS and other terror groups.

In a statement posted Saturday on Twitter, the lobby offered its “unequivocal apology to the overwhelming majority of Democrats in Congress who are rightfully offended by the inaccurate assertion that the poorly worded, inflammatory advertisement implies.”

The AIPAC apology was attached to an earlier tweet by Eli Clifton, an investigative journalist who first brought one of the Facebook ads to light. An AIPAC official told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency the apology applied also to another three inflammatory Facebook ads. 

AIPAC rarely if ever apologizes for its content.

New York Times Wipes Israel off the Map

Today’s New York Times, ran a front page article on Egypt and the Nile River and featured a map of the Middle East and Africa that named every country except one – the State of Israel.  A blank spot was left in the area that should have had the name “Israel” on it.

Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and the Sudan are all named.  Israel, which received its independence in 1948 was left out.

 The New York Times has a habit of distorting its reporting about Israel, 

According to Camera.org, “Again and again, the newspaper distorts the news, downplays inconvenient facts, and departs from journalistic norms. 

The article dealt with a new dam that threatens the Nile River.
