 A student of the Kol Torah Yeshiva of the Nahal faction was detained for a week and a half after not appearing at the recruitment center. His detention was extended until the end of the proceedings.

But still no protests ....... No blocking roads.... Nope ... 
"Let him rot in jail"..... "but we will not protest until after the elections!! 

Why isn't Satmar organizing huge protests against Voting in the elections of the Zionist State of Israel????
Every time there were elections, Satmar managed to produce tens of thousands against voting .....

So why not protest aginst the draft ... now ... before the elections??

Until this election, the Chareidim were by and large together, the "Gedoilim" would put up their candidates and compromise and agree on a slate .... 
Degel and Agudah with the rest of the fake Chareidie parties were all on the same page ..

So no matter what happened .... the Satmar phonies and Auerbach Extremists frauds would benefit ... because the more Chareidie guys came in  ... the more benefits to the Chareidim, so even if  Fake Satmar/Auerbach screamed and protested against voting ...
they benefited from the Charedie winning the elections...
and even though they scream "chai ve'kayom" that they don't take money from the medinah, everyone and his cat knows that it's all a bunch of lies!
At the end of the day it was all good ... they officially protested, and the  bottom line was that they got what the rest of the Chareidim got ...

The elections in Israel this year is different .....
The Chareidim themselves are split ... The Gedoilim are no longer on the same page .... and now all Frum candidates in all municipal districts are in danger of losing seats .... 
Why?
Because instead of agreeing on one candidate and all vote for that guy, there are now from 2 to 3 frum candidates running in the same
city!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Against each other!
This will now endanger the frum parties, because it will split the vote and the chilonie and "dati" guys who are waiting in the bushes like a cat waiting to pounce on the mouse, will now pounce and may actually win the municipal elections in all cities!

So if Satmar and the Auerbach fanatics make any sound about the "draft" ..... protest against the draft ... stop traffic etc ...
guess what happens ....
they lose the elections! 
and if that happens ... Satmar will finally be telling the truth .. that they "don't take money from the medinah" .... because they "takeh" won't get any!

So now at least till next week Tuesday ... you can drive anywhere in Israel and get wherever you need to go ...on time!

Now... if they really believed in their cause .... why would they stop their protests????

Israel Hater Andrew Gillum Running for Governor of Florida Ahead 6 points in Polls

A Quinnipiac University poll Tuesday showed Gillum ahead of Republican opponent Ron DeSantis 52 percent to 46 percent among likely voters, with double-digit leads among women, Hispanics and independents. 

It’s the third such poll in recent days to show Gillum with a clear lead, as his overall edge in public polling widened to its largest level since Oct. 1, according to RealClearPolitics’ aggregation of survey data.

The moment thief steals $97K worth of 47th Street Diamond District jewels

Surveillance footage from inside a Diamond District store shows just how easy it is to swipe tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry.

At Rafaello & Co. on West 47th Street near Sixth Avenue, the thief is caught on tape simply waiting until no one was watching.

He then reaches around the corner of the counter to grab 19 diamond bracelets worth a total of $97,000 from the display, which was open in the back, police said Tuesday.

The grab occurred July 30, but the video was just released, showing the thief wearing black pants, a back shirt and a backpack.

The suspect has not been identified by police and is still at large, cops said.

Two Kosher Businesses Compete for Investments on ‘Shark Tank,’ One Leaves With a Deal

Two kosher businesses were vying for investments Sunday night on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” and one of them left with a deal from two of the show’s tycoons.

Israeli-born chef Guy Vaknin, who owns the kosher-vegan food chain Beyond Sushi, entered the Shark Tank seeking a $1.5 million investment in exchange for 25 percent of his West Coast business and five percent of his East Coast business. His restaurants, which have a large vegan menu including salads, wraps, dumplings, and sushi rolls, mostly offer grab-and-go meal options and the company is projected to reach $5.6 million in sales for 2018. Beyond Sushi employs more than a hundred people, has six New York locations, and another location is set to open in Manhattan this year, according to The Forward.

Guest Shark Matt Higgins partnered up with Lori Greiner and together they offered Vaknin $1.5 million for a 30 percent partnership in West Coast operations and a 15 percent partnership in East Coast operations, an offer that the chef accepted. The deal was Higgins’ first on “Shark Tank.”

Mother and daughter Sara and Marilyn Polon were also seeking an investment on “Shark Tank” Sunday night for their company Soupergirl, which creates kosher handmade, plant-based nutritious soups. Soupergirl began as a small, local business in Washington DC, but can now can be found in 50 natural food stores, 20 box food stores, and two retail stores. Although the company is currently valued around $5 million, none of the Sharks made Soupergirl an offer because the product margins were too low.

The Belzer rebbe's passport Being Auctioned!

In recent days, an unknown Polish passport was discovered, with the photograph and signature of the Rabbi Aharon Rokeach, the fourth Rebbe of Belz.
The passport was prepared for the purpose of leaving the country at the height of the War of Independence. It was issued in Tel Aviv by the Polish consulate on March 10, 1948. The passport is to be sold for sale next month at the Kedem auction house in Jerusalem.

The passport was prepared against the background of the petition of the Rebbe's followers from Europe who were concerned about his safety following the dangerous situation in Israel. This plan did not come to fruition because of the rebbe's decision to remain in the land of Israel.

Maron Aran, one of the owners of the Kedem auction house, says that "This is a rare historical item of extraordinary value that came into our possession, an unknown passport that was not recognized until now, neither among the Belz Hasidim nor among the researchers of the period. 

The passport is an important symbol of the difficult period Belz Hasidism went though at the time of the establishment of the State - from Holocaust to Revival."

'Yeshiva stabber' acquitted

A Charedi yeshiva student accused of stabbing a fellow student in the chest has been acquitted, after it was determined that the suspect was in a “psychotic” state at the time of the incident, and could not be held responsible for his actions.

In August, a 17-year-old student at the Knesset Hagedolah yeshiva on Hafetz Haim Street in the haredi city of Modi’in Illit repeatedly stabbed a fellow student in the chest.

Police were called to the scene of the incident, and quickly apprehended the perpetrator, who had fled to his dorm room after the stabbing.

The victim, who suffered three stab wounds to the chest, was evacuated in serious condition to Tel Hashomer Medical Center in Ramat Gan.

Powerball and Mega Millions combined jackpot hits $2.22B

The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots are now at a combined $2.22 billion, as bettors with big dreams hope the total soars even higher before this week’s drawings.

The Powerball prize climbed to $620 million after no one hit all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing — but it’s the Mega Millions’ already-record $1.6 billion kitty that’s garnering all the attention.

“The greedy part of me wants to play only Mega Millions because who can resist a billion and a half dollars?” Michael Estaban, 38, of Lakeview, LI, said on Sunday.
“But then the common sense in me says I should split my money between the two, because why should I pass up a measly half a billion?”

Estaban ended up plunking down $10 apiece on Mega Millions and Powerball tickets at Carlton Cards in Penn Station, which sells an average of $246,000 in tickets a week, the most in New York state, according to data obtained by USA Today.

The Mega Millions pot is so out of control that its 11 directors have ramped up their usual twice-a-week phone calls to once a day to figure out the new total.

The consortium of lottery officials is holding its next conference call Monday morning to analyze ticket sales from over the weekend to determine whether it can up the jackpot.

“If sales are running ahead, we may take the jackpot up another notch,” Mega Millions lead director Gordon Medenica told The Post.

Asked whether the Mega Millions could reach $2 billion, Medenica replied, “I’m not going to jinx it.’’

HaRav Yitzchok Paler, Rosh Yeshiva Mekor Chaim Passes Away Suddenly

Rav Paler reportedly suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday night. Hatzolah responded to the Rosh Yeshiva’s home where he was found unresponsive and was Niftar a short while later. He was 67.

The Yeshiva was founded in Brooklyn by the Rosh Yeshiva’s father, Rav Binyomin Z”TL, in 1965. In 2012, the Yeshiva relocated to its current home in Lakewood.

For many decades, Rav Binyomin Paler zt”l was known as the repository of the true Brisk in the United States, a Mesorah carried on by his illustrious sons and Talmidim. Rav Binyamin was one of the closest Talmidim of the Brisker Rov, Rav Velvel Soloveitchik, and a chavrusah of Rav Berel Soloveitchik Z”TL – father of Rav Avrohom Yehoshua Shlita, the current Rosh Yeshiva of Brisk in Yerushalayim.

Rav Binyamin zt”l escaped World War II together with the Mirrer Yeshiva via Shanghai. Rav Paler was the son-in-law of the Mattesdorfer Rav, R' Shmuel Ehrenfeld z"l, and was the Rosh Yeshivah for many years in Yeshivah Chasan Sofer.

 After the war, he helped Rav Leib Malin zt”l launch Yeshiva Bais HaTalmud before founding his own Yeshiva, Mekor Chaim. Rav Moshe Feinstein zt”l himself suggested the name – to show all that Rav Paler embodied the authentic teachings and continuity of Rav Chaim Soloveitchik himself.
