First of all, we have no room for them in Israel, and second of all, we don't need burned down buildings in Israel, ask those who lived in the south on October 7. 

They haven't even learned from their experiences in the USA! 

Where is the new Bobover Yeshiva building built in Crown Heights? I remember as a child attending that groundbreaking and the Chanukas Habayis! What happened to all the beautiful Shuls in East New York, Brownsville, Bedford Stuyvesant and The Bronx?

Satmar Rebbe Calls for ALL Yeshivos to violate the "Three Oaths"

 

The entire book, Vayoel Moshe , written by the late Satmar Rebbe, R' Yoel Teitelbaum, the founder of Satmar Chassidus, is based on the violation of the "Three Oaths." 

To be sure this "violation" is not mentioned in the entire Mishna Torah written by the Rambam, and not mentioned in the entire Shulchan Aruch. In addition, in the very place where the Talmud discusses this (a few lines) in Kesubois 111, not one of the commentaries like the Maharsha, Rif, Ran etc, has anything to say on the subject.

Be that as it may, this is not the time or place to discuss this non-issue.

However, one of the "Three Oaths, in which the Vayoel Moshe spends an enormous amount of time on, is the oath of התגרות באומות meaning a Jew in Galut is prohibited from antagonizing the Gentiles! 

Of course in the sefer, the Satmar Rebbe, chastises the Zionists for violating this oath, saying that by having established a State they violated this oath, which is of course not what actually happened, as most of the Gentile governments themselves approved the establishment of the State in 1948, and one of those countries was none other than Russia! But let's not get confused by the facts!

The present Satmar Rebbe, R' Aron of Monroe, an Obama lover and who asked his entire kehilla to write letters to Congress to support the Iran deal, is now asking ALL yeshivois to defy the New York State Department of Education.

I am not going to debate here the merits of his arguments, but what I would like to point out is, what about the violation of התגרות באומות?Why doesn't it apply here?

With this call to "defy" he is also smacking his brother, who he hates with a passion, R' Zalman Leib, Satmar Rebbe of Williamsburg, who signed up and agreed to comply with the New York Education Standards, since it's all about "the Benjamins." 

The "prohibition" of the "three oaths" which the Satmar Rebbe z"l said is  יהרג ואל יעבור, that one is obligated to give his life in order not to violate is only apparently addressed to Zionists but is not meant for themselves!

We all remember when the "farsighted & forward looking" R' Aron asked his naive sheep to write letters to congressmen to support the murderous "Iran Deal" against Israel. There is something to be said when the ENTIRE frum community voted for Zeldin except for these two brother-in laws.

I agree with the rebbe about the Trumpism, However is he accusing Rav Riesman and all the mosdos hatorah of supporting. Zelden because of Trumpisim?. The rebbe should just say the real reason they supported Houhcal and Maloney because of their water project. and like I said last week Satmar like it or not is the face of the chasidishe mosdos and by supporting Houchal against the other mosdos makes their argument against the SED very weak now.

A seven and a half minute audio clip making the rounds on social media today featured the leader of one of the two factions of Satmar discussing Election Day win during a lecture on Psalms held this morning in Kiryas Joel.

Addressing participants, Rabbi Teitelbaum shared that someone told him this morning that he had won the election, but that that sentiment was far from the case. Instead, the Satmar grand rabbi explained, he had merely been relying on common sense to find a way to protect New York’s yeshivas from the latest round of secular education requirements.

Rabbi Teitelbaum took a dim view of some in the Jewish community, disparaging them as crazed followers of former President Donald Trump.

Continuing in a similar vein, Rabbi Teitelbaum also alluded that those Trumpster’s are WhatsApper’s.

Signs that were posted in Kiryas Joel made their way onto Twitter today, thanking the village for delivering its bloc vote to Hochul and Arutz Sheva (https://bit.ly/3UDeHbY) reported that Hochul called the Satmar Rebbe’s wife this morning to thank her for the community’s support.

This rebbe" was always on the wrong side of history. We remember when he backed Obama's disastrous Iran Deal and told his naive sheep to write to Congressmen that they should dis-invite the then PM Bibi Netanyahu from addressing both houses of congress to explain to them that this deal was dangerous to the 6.8 million Jews living in Israel. It is no wonder that his father the "Beirach Moshe" didn't want him as rebbe. I wonder what Hochul has over him? 

Bucking the trend of nearly every major Orthodox Jewish voting bloc giving their full-throated support to Lee Zeldin, who has vowed to protect yeshivas, in the New York governor’s race, Satmar’s “Aronim” faction endorsed incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Hochul has remained on the sidelines since the NY Board of Regents voted to approve new “substantial equivalency” standards that threaten to take a wrecking ball to yeshiva education, whereas Zeldin has repeatedly blasted the move and pledged to support yeshivas as governor.

It isn’t yet clear why the Aronim faction has thrown its support behind Gov. Hochul, though rumors are swirling that a backroom deal (?) has been reached which would benefit the Satmar faction, but not necessarily anyone else.

Ezra Friedlander who was on Nadler's payroll wrote an op-ed defending the Iran Deal. Both Satmar Brothers defended the Iran Deal. Top New York officials voiced grave concerns about the quality of education in Hasidic Jewish private schools on Monday, a day after The New York Times revealed that many of the schools taught only rudimentary English and math and virtually no science or history 

Two Democratic congressmen — Jerrold Nadler, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Hakeem Jeffries, the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus — said they had serious concerns, with Mr. Nadler saying it was clear that some of the Hasidic schools were “utterly failing.”

“It is a paramount duty of government to make sure that all children — whether it’s those educated in parochial, private or public schools — are provided a quality education,” said Mr. Nadler, the senior Jewish member of the House, whose current district encompasses a major Hasidic neighborhood. “It is our duty to all New York students to ensure that the law is enforced.”

Mr. Jeffries, who represents parts of central Brooklyn, called for “a rigorous inquiry in order to make sure that the health and well-being of all children is protected.”

Daniel Goldman, who recently won a contested Democratic primary for a new congressional seat that includes Hasidic areas in Brooklyn, said he hoped the schools would work to comply with the law, adding that the Times report “paints a damning picture of an inadequate secular education that does not comply with state law.”
