This is their dark secret. 50 years ago we were told that in 2 generations, all Jews would be Orthodox because the non-Orthodox were intermarrying and disappearing. At that time, 10-15% of the Jewish population was Orthrodox. Here we are 2 generations later and it's still 10-15%. Wonder why?
Garnel we all know that that you are an average ideologist, and you have full right to believe in these meaningless polls, predictions, etc. Fact is that these percentages are constant ever since the 2nd Beis Hamikdash and through the generations. Klal Ysroel loses now neshomes due to intermarriages, OTD and conversions just like it did back in the Middle Age, before and after, and just about everywhere in the diaspora. Only the maaminim stay in the line.
My point, in case you missed it, is that most Chareidim aren't ma'aminim. The OTD numbers are likely huge given that they have 10-15 children per family while the non-religious are actively disappearing, yet the percentage hasn't moved. That tells you how bad the problem is.
Garnel is sputtering away about Charedim when he should be busy with his own Modern Orthos. 70% of the teens are mechalel Shabbos & 95% in Ramaz - according to a Ramaz high school principal lamenting to a newspaper - have hashkofos that even a Leftist like him agrees are kefira mamash against the Torah!
Oh the liar "70% of the teens are mechalel Shabbos & 95% in Ramaz - according to a Ramaz high school principal, lamenting to a newspaper" Which newspaper provide a link! Most of those going off are from Charedie families and we don't need a newspaper to find out, we see it on the streets!

"most Chareidim aren't ma'aminim" just like most fish are allergic to water… makes sens.
Dusiznies, people go otd from all groups - religious or not so religious. That has NOTHING to do with the draft issue - please tone down your rants
