President Donald Trump indicated he might urge Israel to free imprisoned Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, a key figure for Palestinian unity, as the U.S. seeks to stabilize postwar Gaza.
In a Time interview, Trump said he has discussed the possibility with White House aides and is “making a decision.”

The difference between Barghouti and Sinwar is (a) clever marketing (b) charisma
a) Barghouti is marketed as the Nelson Mandela of the Fakestinians. His release, we are told, will unify the Fakestinians behind a moderate leader who will then negotiate with Israel for a Two State Solution(tm), just like Mandela negotiated with the South African government and peacefully oversaw the transition to Black rule.
Except that Mandela renounced violence and really did passionately believe in a unified, multiracial South Africa. Barghouti has no regrets for being a terrorists and states to anyone who will listen (which means not the Western press or liberals) that he would unite the Fakestinians and then lead them to war against Israel to wipe it out
b) Sinwar had no charisma. He was a thug. Everyone knew he was a thug. This guy has charisma. He will attract crowds who will willingly follow him instead of being forced to out of fear. That's 10x worse.
Trump is considering that he represent the "Palestinians" ימ"ש
