Ronald Lauder Advocating that Israel Release the biggest Murderer !
World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder privately pushed for the release of Palestinian prisoner Marwan Barghouti during Gaza hostage deal negotiations, offering to travel to Egypt to advocate for him, Times of Israel reports

It's understandable in a bizarre way.
One piece of Arab propaganda is that Barghouti is the Nelson Mandela of the so-called Palestinians. He's the saviour figure accepted by all parts of their supposed society, someone who can unite them and lead them forward. So Lauder thinks he's doing an amazing thing - here's the leader that will replace Abbas, reform the PA and bring Hamas supporters back onside!
Except that, unlike Mandela, he has no intention of developing a society based on tolerance for both sides in the conflict. He still wants to wipe out Israel. He's still that guy who wishes the PLO was doing what Hamas is doing. That's the part of the briefing Lauder missed.
