Bitter End to the Yom Tefilah as 20 Year-Old Menachem Mendel Litzman Jumps to His Death

A bitter end to the rally: after the tragedy, organizers called on the crowds to go home and ordered those on rooftops to come down immediately.

The young man who tragically fell during a draft rally on Shazar Boulevard has been identified as Menachem Mendel Litzman, 20. He jumped from the “Migdal Marom” building, and despite immediate medical attention, was pronounced dead at the scene.

DIN im curious if they accomplished their goals. What was the purpose of demonstrating in an orthodox area. Also why do he police even engage. Let them block roads, they are only hurting themselves? Im truly curious. TY

They did not accomplish their goals; they made it worse! In fact, many are saying that they don't believe that Torah saves anyone, because they in fact closed their Yeshivos, and that's because they don't believe it, but they want us Jlubs to believe it!
Yerushlayim is not only orthodox, in fact, it is full of tourists! And that was their point to inconvenience those tourists to make them aware that there is a major segment that doesn't recognize the Jewish State!
