Meah Shearim Residents Hang Palestinian Flags all over Their Neighborhoods

These flags represent murderers, rapists and animals, yet Meah Shearim residents allowed those flags to hang an entire week. Not one resident, not one, protested this and not one removed this disgusting display of hate against their fellow Jews. To these tzaddikim, the Palestinian flag represents their philosophy of wanting to live under a Palestinian government.

And the truth is that they actually can, they can move to Ramallah which is a part of Eretz Yisrael, but these hypocritical liars wouldn't do that because they know that in less than an hour the Palestinians would behead each and every one of them not even giving them a chance to line up to get on the cattle cars.

I have the solution to this "Meah Seharim" problem, and whoever I talk to about this are very excited.

I propose that the IDF take them all on buses and ship them just less than a mile away into Ir David now called Silwan, and bring in developers into Meah Shearim, raze the entire area and build Hi-Risers.!

It's a win win sutuation!

Police officers on Sunday raided the Mea Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem after Palestinian flags were hung in the neighborhood as well as sprayed on the walls of the neighborhood.

The police officers led Jerusalem municipality employees to the places where the flags were hung and protected them as they removed them using ladders and painted over flags sprayed on neighborhood walls.

One of the biggest problems in EY is they don’t appreciate anything they have, that applies to the leftists and this lot, the Israeli government spends $$$ millions a year on the Torah learning facilities throughout EY yet they don’t appreciate it,

Okay, counter-argument - Meah Shearim pre-dates the State. They will tell you they were there first, they were very happy under Muslim rule with the Ottomans and it was the Zionists who showed up later and took over. So why should they have to move?

However, here's another perspective. You know the old line, how giving tzedakah does more for the giver than the receiver because it's a mitzvah? Well putting up with these menuvalim gives the Seculars a big zchus. Why take it away from them?

Millions of Jews lived all across Europe for many years, and were quite happy too...

Your counter argument that "Meah Shearim pre-dates the State" could be made for the Canaanites who predated Eretz Yisrael.
Yes they were happy under the Ottomans but what they don't say is that the Ottoman's cruelty, brutality and torture toward the Jews goes way back to 1625, 300 years before Binyamin Zev Herzl was born It is not a secret that the Ottomans subjected the Jews to utter starvation. The Historian Eldad Zion suggests that the reason the Jews kept their mouth shut and wiped this ugly history from their narrative was because " the Jews were gripped by a strong messianic passion, and they perceived their suffering and sheer misery to be in line with cosmic occurrences and thought that the plagues that befell them could mean that their salvation was close." The Meah Shearim community that was established in the late 1800's was basically a community where no one worked for various different reasons and lived off charity sent from Europe called the Chaluka, this Chluka caused massive machlokas amongst the Meah Shearim Community. The establishment of the Jewish State was the best thing that happened to them but of course they want to live under the Palestinian Flag, I say ship them either to Ir David called Silwan or Rammalla both part of ancient Israel.

DIN, I agree with everything you said. I was just pointing out their counter-argument, not that it's true.

Pardon,
they were happier under the Mandate.
The best situation
That incl. Dr.Wallach founder of Share Tzedek & others too

R M Blau was poisoned en route to defend their cause .
They went shortly thereafter to the UN to avoid being annexed by the nascent state
BG arguably annexed them forcibly since he feared having a Jewish entity outside of his dominance.Bad for Zionist PR
The UN refused to choose them over the seculars [So much for being Anti Zionist]& abandoned the previous Resolution

Thats an Idiotic counter argument, so wave ottoman flags not BS palestinian murderers flag.
The fact that they do that shows they have no chelek in klal yisroel, and have a din of mosrim as Rav Henkin wrote.

"they were happier under the mandate?"
This is proof positive that the Meah Shearim community don't care about anyone else. It's a community built on the premise to take take take take from others and contribute zero. Under the mandate, Meah Shearim lived under utter poverty.
The British were one of the cruelest nations on earth, and it's no secret that 65 countries couldn't wait to gain independence from them and get away from their brutal oppression.
Survivors from concentration camps who finally somehow escaped and headed to the mandate were turned back only to be taken back to the concentration camps, many were shipped like cattle to Cyprus under terrible conditions living like animals surrounded by barb wire. In Palestine British forces brutally murdered Zionist fighters who wanted Independence just like the other 65 countries under their cruel occupation, but Meah Shearim "were happy under the mandate" Now they claim that they take zero benefits from the medina, an unmitigated lie, but they depend on others to feed them and support them from the very people that do take money from the medina.
If Wallach was so happy under the mandate why didn't he just move to England? R M Blau was poisoned by his own community as this has been verified over and over again, later his successor Hirsch was blinded with bleach from his own people, and later still the community excommunicated Blau and threw out of his own community, and he had to go to Bnei-Brak in exile, they are basically like fish that eat their own. BG didn't "annex them" this isn't the Golan Heights, the British walked away from the entire Palestine and BG didn't fear them at all, they were basically mosquitoes on his back annoying him , their entire community consisted of about three little blocks of homes, no one paid attention to them. They are a bunch of ungrateful people who dont contribute to society in any way and are also a bunch of amai-ratzim and have produced maybe a handful of people in Torah knowledge in over a 100 years.

This is one of the most insane comments I have ever heard. They went to the UN to avoid being annexed? Do you even know what happened in 1948?
First of all Yerushalyim including Meah Shearim was part of the original "Partition Plan." So the entire UN granted that to the State of Israel. The British walked away from the Mandate, period. The Arabs went to war, and if they would have won, they would have taken the Jews with Amrom Blau and murdered and raped them as they did in 1929. R' Amrom Blau should have thanked Hashem that the Zionists won that war.
Second of all, the community of Meah Shearim was so tiny and had no significance in any decisions made by Ben Gurion. They meant nothing to him, or to the British or to the Arabs or to the UN for that matter. They even meant nothing to the rest of the Jewish people, they were not in the equation, period. To say that Ben Gurion "feared them" is hysterical.
You wrote that the "UN refused to choose them" this statement is nuts, insane and bizarre! Why would the UN listen to approx 75 families who would just mooch from society as they weren't productive citizens. And what would the UN do? Have them live under the British mandate, who just left? Oh, they wanted to live under the UN auspices ? That is so funny. They suggested that the UN cordon off two blocks in Jerusalem, and have the UN monitor it? Why don't you look and see now how anything the UN does is basically a disaster. Two weeks before the 1967 war, UN safekeeping troops left Syria, Jordon and Egypt after the Arabs told them to get the hell out of there. Is that the UN that you guys wanted to live under? Sick and demented.

Ridiculous response & ignorant
Drank the cool aid.Typical.

The yekke Dr. came to the land under the Ottomans & internationally acclaimed as a pioneer in medical treatment .
The zionists had to conveniently adopt him inlater whitewashing his politics despite threatening his life, forcing him to around with a bodyguard .
He should leave?! Those who barged in afterwards with their nefarious plots should leave
Lots were happier under the British.Despite
You absorbing leftist propaganda thoroughly.
While there were mistakes & callousness, overall it was a better world than has since come after
The UN original plan was for Jerusalem to be an international jurisdiction.BG abrogated it.

Oh ,& during Stenna there was a nostalgia for the Mandate.
The common refrain then
Herut
lost seats because "they kicked the British out"

Listen wise guy you keep parenting the Neturei Karta/Netrunie lies and propaganda, no one is falling for it not even the Satmars who are slowly but surely turning around.
Ben Gurion did the right thing, thank G-d, abrogating the stupid idiotic idea of Yerushlayim Ir Hakoidish to be under the cursed UN, international or otherwise.
There isn't a country in the entire world that had any "nachas" of being under the UN auspices. This UN idea was actually what the Satmar Rebbe wrote in his book "Al Ha'gilah" so now that we look back and see who sits on the Security council, countries like, Russia, China, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Korea, France, and Iran, How great do you think that would have worked out?
"There was nostalgia for the Mandate?" There are "Yekkes" that are nostalgic about Germany! What does that even mean?
Bottom line:
Meah Shearim Community was a tiny community, a couple of unproductive poverty stricken families housed in a few blocks in Yerushalyim who nobody really cared about, not even Chareidim! I'm not certain that Ben Gurion even heard about them. If it wasn't for them hanging the flag of Jew murderers and rapists no one would know they exist except maybe for some good bakeries. They are unproductive even in Yahadus as they in over 100 years haven't produced one single Gadol or posik.

Garnel Ironheart said...

Actually if you look at the UN partition plan, they have a point - under the 1947 plan, Yerushalayim would be an international city governed by a UN official.

But I say we grant them independence. Then cut off Israeli electricity, water and health care and let them figure it out themselves.

Mrs Z,DIN,
Too scared to have everything you identify with found to be an empty smoke mirage?
Can't deal with message,so go after messenger.Got it.Unsurprising.

" was a tiny community,"

Wrong yet as usual. Remarkable how many kids who joined the Undergrounds came from that " tiny community (incl. extensions)," eg Kibutz Ramat Rachel was founded nearly entirely from kids who were seduced away from that community

"a couple of unproductive poverty"

Indeed.
They should have joined R AY Schlesinger, settled the land & co-opted the premise of zionsim

Nevertheless
Now they could be compared at worst to eternal Refuseniks.

The russian Refuseniks were " a couple of unproductive poverty stricken families"?

"What does that even mean?"
Too difficult for simpletons? Was understated actually.
A small example: Sir Ronald Storrs was attacked as an anti semite. He was very anti socialist-which through propaganda became conflated.
The very proper orthodox Edith Landau (dubbed by the british as "The Queen")
was another pro Mandate person of distinction.

"Under The UN"
Projecting anachronistically & dubiously

Interestingly, the righteous altruistic albeit Top-hatted Agudist Mr Harry Goodman was interrupted by heckling at the 1954 Knessia Gedolah due to being perceived as being a Pro Mandate Anglophile

Are you insane? Are you suggesting we go back to the mandate and be under the cruel, sadistic antisemitic British? So there were some sick dummies like Goodman etc that wanted the mandate, so what? I'm sure that there are plenty of people living in the USA that hate it and wish they were again under the British Crown, so what does that mean?
There isn't a country in the world (65 of them)that was under British rule that would want to be under their brutal rule ever again. Except of course the stupid ignorant dummies living in Meah Shearim. Who even cares what these unproductives want? Who?
And your insane suggestion to be under UN auspices, is sick, so sick! The UN had peacekeeping troops between Egypt and Israel, and then Nasser ym"s told the UN to get them the hell out of there in 1967 so that he can march into Israel and wipe out all the Jews including the fools living in Meah Shearim.
You had suggested before that Nasser ym"s said that he would spare the Meah Shearim community, so is that a good thing for you, to wipe out the entire Israel but leave Meah Shearim?
I have news for you I did research and this is a bald faced lie fabricated by a Jewish Nazi Site called "Torah True Jews" This site is neither True nor is it Torah, it's a site written by Jewish Nazis. Nasser hated all Jews to him David Ben Gurion was equal to Amrom Blau, he hated both of them, and he had no clue who they even were.
You are living in a lie ... We have a beautiful country where the words of the Navi has come to fruition when he prophesied that there will come a day when children will once again be laughing and playing in the streets of Eretz Yisrael, when the land will no longer be barren it will bear an abundance of fresh fruit. You my friend must be descended from the Erav Rav who wanted to go back to Egypt and you want to go back to the Mandate!

Mrs Zelensky said...

Ok let's try on being nice, here goes
Your comment that Nassar would have allowed the Meah Shearim community to survive but would have wiped out the entire Jewish population is not only patently false but out and out ridiculous.
Your comment that there are people out there that yearned for the mandate, means nothing, none of the people of 65 countries that gained their independence from Britain would ever ever want to resort back to be under the brutal oppression of the British, but you are suggesting that Meah Shearim community wants to be under the British antisemites? Seriously, Isn't that nuts? Goodman may have been a "noble righteous man" but that doesn't mean that he wasn't naive and a political stooge for the antizionist propaganda machine, because righteous or not, the fact that years after the establishment of a State for Jews, Goodman still wanted the mandate makes him nothing but a fool maybe a righteous one, but a fool nevertheless, and I'm glad that people at the Aguda convention heckled him and I'm also sure that the ones heckling him were Survivors of Hitler ym"s. I'm not going to go at your comment about the UN, because I'm positive that even you now sees how nuts that sounds!

Mss.Zeresh,

For starters, how come you're going after him?

The British were prim, stiff, a bit snotty, cool & impartial. Too much perhaps for the recently immigrated Eastern European Jews who, as well as many others elsewhere, wished for something different? Or were convinced to?So?
Case examplar:Nowadays in Montreal, most Jews pine back for the days of Anglo Predominance.
That is, even though the Jews took an active role pulling that whole system Down. To their regret .
Because?
They,as has been their wont, sided with the supposed underdog french, even while the French were far more anti-Semitic on the balance..

Many other examples can be provided
Lots And Lots Of peoples in many countries who yearn for the halcyon days Of imperial
Do-gooding glory.Though you're forbidden to be aware of that.
Since you've been inundated by near mafia like total Propaganda you can be forgiven for your blythe Ignorance (with exception of Quebec, American media and System allows itself to be more anti French than anything else when that suits

Mandate Shmandate
Those who look back at the "mandate" and yearn are the grandchildren of those who yearned to go back to Egypt and complained as stated in Bamidbar 11:5
זכרנו את הדגה אשר נאכל במצרים חנם
For a man like Goodman to even talk about the mandate shows that he had not gone thru the Holocaust, the Holocaust survivors that attended that dinner never forget his callus and ignorant remarks, and rightfully heckled him.
We live B'H under the Israel Flag, we should have a sense of pride of what we accomplished in this short time with our השתדלות
A Jew fleeing any hostile country knows that he can find a secure refuge in the State of Israel.
Those who display a flag that represents murder of Jews and those who tolerate it are ungrateful and cannot possibly be מזרע ישראל
