I also knew Rabbi Schwartz and I once davened in his shtibel in Flatbush ...he barely had a minyan and the minyan that he did have were his children ..
But "Satmar Violence" didn't start and end with R' Moshe ... it was against the Kloizenberger, R' Hershele Spinker, Chabad etc..
and guess what the common denominator was between Satmar's victims.. R' Moshe, Kloizrnberger, R' Helshele and the Rebbe of Chabad?
They were all huge.... huge Talmeidei Chachamim... let that sink in ..

That Satmar wanted to burn down the building where R' Moshe lived? ..there are still many of us around to remember this very well... and he didn't mention when the Satmar goons put glue in R' Moshe's locks..
he also didn't mention something that I witnessed with my very own eyes ...R' Moshe arrived at a wedding in Williamsburg and when the Satmar terrorists got wind of it they came down like sewer rats and surrounded R' Moshe's car as we was about to leave... rocking it trying to overturn it ... thank G-d Police arrived in time...

One lecture of R’ Pinny Dunner has a lot more integrity than the entirety of VeYoel Moshe and Al Hageulah.

True .. he had nothing to do with Satmar .... in fact he was against Satmar as well ... but they did have something in common and that was that they both attempted to take down R' Moshe z"l... and that is what Pinni Donner pointed out
I don't have any facts but from my simple understanding, he went partially the jewish way of fighting for truth with truth and in a scholarly way with proofs he held relevant , however satmar went the satmar way . Enough said
