The beauty of this much too short video clip is that with 60 years hindsight we know now that these two self effacing Gedolim shaped the face of the Jewish world in the most profoud way like noone since Churbon HaBayis.

Take this opportunity not to forget the builders of Eretz Yisroel 2,000 years after churban Habayis.
From B'Yachad --- magazine of Jewish National Fund;

1901-2020 ….
Draining Jezreel Valley swamps,Jordan River,adding agricultural land so that olim could make a living, reservoirs all over the land , foresting the land, infrastructure, 11 communities with water pipelines in Negev, Galilee,Arava regions, lakes , another 15,000 acres of land to communities... etc.

Remembering Mildred Popkin, an American Jewish architect who donated $4 million dollars to help the land and people , though she herself never visited EY.
Building the land so that Torah growth multiplied by leaps & bounds.
So that you & I can send our sons & daughters to learn there for a year or two, so that we can come to Yarchei Kallahs, and daven at the Kotel, Mearat Hamachpelah, so that Yidden can make Aliyah, so that EY is the largest Torah center in the whole wide world. So that people in Chutz Laaretz now have an opportunity to get buried in EY... know what I mean ???
