This past year I had a big name rosh yeshiva start touting something to me in connection to Friedlander. I asked him if he has any idea what a weasel & de facto Kapo he is talking about? He gives me a shocked look.
The problem boils down to the Agudah Fressers giving Ezra chashivus. What use do the Fressers have for Ezra? They've discarded people like used Kleenexes for a lot less than Ezra is guilty of.
It seems that (Pinchus) Ezra and his father recently got COVID 19. The father made it out of Maimonides alive (story was at boropark24.com, then pulled), and his son recovered evidently too. Maybe they were from the big Chasidishe chachumim who thought they knew better than experts.
Pinchus (Ezra) recently put out a press release under the name "Pinchus ben Tzvi" about signing of agreement for taking over control of the Hasidic cemetery in Liska, Hungary to develop it as a site for Hasidic visitors.
He is busy promoting his buddy Marc Schneier now too, the six times married founder of the Hampton Temple.
