An antechamber to evil ... The progressive world

After days of anti-Semitic rants on social media, the “Grime” rapper Wiley has finally been barred from Twitter and Facebook following outrage by Jews and others that he was allowed to use these platforms for his vicious incitement.

This episode was particularly chilling.
It involved a sustained onslaught of anti-Jewish invective by a prominent public figure who described Jews as “cowards and snakes,” likened them to the Ku Klux Klan and suggested they should be shot.

He could do this with impunity because no one saw fit to stop him until protests had escalated into a 48-hour boycott of Twitter. Days of brazen incitement against Jews had elicited merely indifference from content providers, or even attracted support.

Indeed, after Wiley was banned from social media, he was given yet another platform. In an interview in Britain’s black community newspaper The Voice, he accused the Jews of using black people as slaves in the music and entertainment industry—to which his interviewer wondered: “Maybe it’s a discussion that needs to be had?”

The passivity that greeted Wiley’s brazen Jew-hatred has shocked many Jews into concluding that a line has now been crossed.

"Don't allow 16,000 US yeshiva students into Israel" ...Israeli Virus Manager

Ronni Gamzu

Professor Ronni Gamzu, the government's coronavirus project manager, criticized the decision to allow 16,000 US yeshiva students into Israel ahead of the holiday season.

"We need to take intelligent measures here and prevent another fire," he told Weekend News. "This is a decision which was made before I took office. I am not yet completely sure what other instructions we need to be giving."

Gamzu also said that he is not looking at the previous failures in handling the coronavirus crisis.

"I really want to take the citizens of the State of Israel forward," he said. "Yes, there were mistakes, and yes, there were restrictions which I don't see the logic in, and that pushed the public away. Anyone who comes sees open here, closed there, and says, 'This doesn't seem reasonable to me.' Especially if that person is one who lost his livelihood."

According to Gamzu, it could be that Israelis will be able to resume flights abroad within the next month.
"I think that during August, the skies will reopen," he said. "The purpose is to resume, as quickly as possible and to as many 'green' countries as possible, because we are pretty red in comparison to the other green countries. And this is definitely a realistic goal."

"I serve the citizens of the State of Israel. I have confidence in my path. I'm not sure I'll succeed, but I really think that all of us together, all of the State of Israel's citizens, if we can join hands, we will succeed."

Watch How Fauci Refuses To Limiting Riots Despite Virus Spread But Recommends Closing of Houses of Worship

Dr. Anthony Fauci did little on Friday to dispel the argument often made by conservatives that there is a double standard when liberals and some public health experts support widespread Black Lives Matter protests, but simultaneously push for limitations on other activities involving crowds.
Fauci’s stance emerged during questioning from a Republican lawmaker while testifying before House lawmakers over whether recent protests increased the spread of coronavirus.
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio repeatedly pressed the top health official on whether protests in Portland and other cities against police brutality and racial discrimination should be curbed to stop the virus spread.
Jordan complained that government officials “are stopping people from going to church,” but not shutting down protests.
Fauci refused to admit that if crowds in churches and businesses are deemed a risk, certainly crowds of hundreds if not thousands of protestors should carry at least the same amount of risk, and should therefore be limited by the same token.
Instead, he remained non-committal, saying “Any crowd, whether it’s a protest, any crowd when you have people close together without masks is a risk.”

The Buthcher  Herberts Cukurs

In March 1965, the West German Bundestag overwhelmingly defeated a proposal to bring to an end the hunt for Nazi war criminals and introduce a statute of limitations for their crimes.
The months leading up to the debate had seen a wave of opposition to the plans across the world. Thousands took to the streets from Tel Aviv to Toronto and Los Angeles to London. Nobel Prize winners, politicians, playwrights and the future Pope Benedict XVI raised their voices in protest. And in Germany, a bitter and divisive national debate broke out about how the country should atone for its sins and how widespread the responsibility for them truly lay.

Barack Obama’s half-brother rips ‘cold and ruthless’ ex-president

A “cold and ruthless” President Obama abandoned his Kenyan family in their greatest hours of need, according to a new tell-all by estranged half brother Malik Obama.
“He got rich and became a snob,” Malik, 62, told The Post via Skype from his home in the Kenyan village of Nyang’oma Kogelo. “What I saw was he was the kind of person that wants people to worship him. He needs to be worshiped and I don’t do that. I am his older brother so I don’t do that.”
The book, “Big Bad Brother From Kenya,” a self-published memoir which Malik Obama spent 22 years writing, hit Amazon with little fanfare on July 11. In its 435 pages, Malik covers the long and gradual falling out between him and the former President, which culminated in Malik publicly endorsing Donald Trump for president in 2016.
Both Malik and Barack Obama share the same father, Barack Hussein Obama Sr., a Kenyan economist who died in a car accident in 1982. Malik first met his half brother in 1985 when Barack was a 24-year-old Chicago community organizer, and they enjoyed warm relations for more than a decade. Malik spent years working in the United States, where he has dual citizenship, and frequently traveled between the US and his homeland. Malik was the best man at Barack Obama’s wedding in 1992. When Barack became president, Malik was a regular visitor to the Oval Office.

Yiddish Has become a "Religion" for the "Non-Religious"

The following is a lengthy article that was featured in Tablet and it talks about the revival of Yiddish and Yiddish culture ...

I read the article, with curiosity, an article that goes on and on to infiniti, and if you are somewhat of a masochist you will take the time to read it.

I found that except for three words,
"kaboles shabes," "khas v’sholem" and "Tish Nigunim,"
the whole article had absolutely nothing to do with Yiddishkeit.
The word "Judaism" doesn't appear in the entire article and neither does the word "Jew" or "Jewish" ...and of course.... ..... G-D.

The Yiddish that they do speak is not at all related to the Yiddish that most of the Yiddish speaking world speaks...
If you would listen to their Yiddish, you would find it to be a cross between Swahili and Flemish..

If they would have any allegiance to Israel, I would have some hope for this group, who come together once a year to speak in their common tongue and listen to Klezmer....

They call this a "revival"... but a "rival" of exactly what?
Most of the old "yiddishists" leaders are no longer here and their children have more or less assimilated and disappeared amongst nations of the world..
This new breed of "yiddishists" sound like a nice bunch,  and I saw that they were smart enough to stay away from politics, but if I had to take a guess I would say that they are progressive liberal Jews who want a "One State" solution with  the name Palestine written all over it  ...
I sure hope I"m wrong...

COVID-19: List Of Hand Sanitizers To Avoid Now Nears 90, FDA Says

The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers and health care providers that the agency has seen a sharp increase in hand sanitizer products that are labeled to contain ethanol (also known as ethyl alcohol) but that have tested positive for methanol contamination amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The list has now grown to nearly 90 products being recalled.
Methanol, also known as wood alcohol, can be toxic when ingested or absorbed through the skin, according to FDA said.
The agency said it's aware of adults and children ingesting hand sanitizer products contaminated with methanol that has led to recent adverse events including blindness, hospitalizations and death.
The FDA advises consumers not to use hand sanitizers listed below, or products with the names or NDC numbers.

CHUTZPAH: European Diplomats Warn Israel Against Building in Jerusalem Neighborhood

What unmitigated gall .... what chutzpah...
They threw us out of their countries time and again ... then selected and rounded us up just recently ...
and now that we finally have our country, these children of murderers are telling us not to build in our own sovereign country...may they all go to hell!

A group of European diplomats warned Israel against moving forward with construction projects in Jerusalem and between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim.

On Thursday, 16 diplomats representing the UK, Iceland, Norway and the European Union and 12 EU member states including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, and Sweden, took part in a Zoom meeting, discussing in part Israeli plans to build in the Givat HaMatos neighborhood of southern Jerusalem and in the E-1 area east of the capital, between Jerusalem and the Israeli city of Maale Adumim.

According to the French embassy in Israel, the 16 diplomats expressed their “grave concerns” about Israel’s construction plans in the two areas.

“Recalling prev. demarches France,Germany,Italy,Spain,UK +Belgium,Denmark,Finland, Ireland,Netherlands,Norway,Poland, Portugal,Slovenia,Sweden+the EU have repeated their grave concerns regarding the advancement of settlement construction in Givat Hamatos and potentially in E1 area,” the French embassy tweeted.

“Any further settlement construction in this strategically sensitive area will have a devastating impact on a contiguous Palestinian State, as well as severely undermining the possibility of a negotiated 2-state solution in line with internationally agreed parameters.”

“Settlements are illegal under International Humanitarian Law.”

Earlier this year, Israel approved tenders for 1,077 new housing units in the Givat HaMatos neighborhood.

There are additional plans for further construction in the neighborhood, along with plans for expansion of the nearby Har Homa neighborhood, and the E-1 corridor between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim.

The master plan for expansion in Givat HaMatos and Har Homa provides for the construction of 6,100 new housing units.

Three Russian Sisters Accused of Lying About ‘rapist’ Father They Killed As He Was Planning Aliyah

Three Russian teen sisters charged with killing their physically and sexually abusive father are accused by family members of concocting the tales of abuse.
The explosive allegations against the Khachaturyan sisters were launched by their dead father’s sister and nephew in advance of their trial, which is set to begin Friday in Moscow for two of the three sisters.
Naira Khachaturyan, the aunt of Maria, Angelina and Krestina Khachaturyan, also claimed on Andrey Malakhov’s ‘Let Them Talk’, that the sisters had conspired to kill their father, Mikhail, before he planned to emigrate to Israel when all his daughters were 18, according to the Daily Mail.
“They knew they could live the way they want if they got rid of their father,” Khachaturyan said on TV. “They wanted to delete him from their lives,” she said.
Arsen Khachaturyan, Mikhail’s nephew added: “Sexual violence, other violence, there was nothing of that. The girls decided to kill their father, they conspired a while ago.”
The siblings were 17, 18, and 19 when they fatally attacked their dad with a hammer and kitchen knife as he nodded off inside their Moscow apartment in July 2018.

Twitter Says its OK To flag President Trump's Tweets But its Not OK to Flag Iran's calls for violence against Israel,

Twitter defended its decision to flag President Trump’s tweet about violent demonstrations but not Iran’s calls for violence against Israel, suggesting to Israeli’s legislature on Wednesday that the latter fell under its protections for “commentary on political issues of the day.”
Human rights attorney Arsen Ostrovsky asked Twitter’s Ylwa Pettersson:
“You have recently started flagging the tweets of President Trump. Why have you not flagged the tweets of Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei, who has literally called for the genocide of Israel and the Jewish people?”
Pettersson responded:
“We have an approach to world leaders that presently say that direct interactions with fellow public figures, comments on political issues of the day, or foreign policy sabre-rattling on military, economic issues are generally not in violation –”
At that point, Knesset member Michal Cotler-Wunsh interjected and challenged Pettersson.
“So, calling for genocide is okay, but commenting on politics is not?” she asked.

Tisha B'Av at Titus' Gate .... Ambassador Reads from an Eyewitness of the Destruction of the Bais Hamikdash

As Ambassador of the State of Israel, Tisha B'Av this year is different from previous years. This time I'm in Rome, at Titus' Gate, built in honor of that victory over Jerusalem, in the year '70.

Across from us stands the Colosseum, constructed from the spoils of that war; and on the other side - the Curia, the Roman Senate building. Incredible symbolism.

The triumphal procession made its way through the main streets. Then it came here, to the Via Sacra - the holy path - to the Temple of Jupiter, where sacrifice was performed and public celebrations took place.

Yosef ben Matityahu, the commander of the Galilee during the Great Revolt, who was captured and joined Titus, documented the war in his book "History of the Jewish War against the Romans." He was an eyewitness to the parade.

I will read an excerpt from the book:

Special Needs “HASC” Resident Viciously Beaten In Flatbush

A “special needs” young man in Flatbush was viciously assaulted in an unprovoked attack, Wednesday afternoon.
Sources say that the 20-year-old victim had just walked out of a HASC Home on Webster Avenue near East 8th Street, when an individual approached him and assaulted him. He was punched multiple times, and had a rock smashed into his head. No words were exchanged prior to the attack.
EMS rushed the victim to Maimonides Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Flatbush Shomrim responded and assisted the NYPD in canvassing the area for the suspect, who is reportedly a white male wearing a “bandanna” mask on his face. Shomrim has been going to neighbors and looking for security camera footage.
The NYPD is on the scene and Detectives are investigating the incident.
If you have any information which can assist in apprehending this suspect, or have any access to camera footage, please call the Flatbush Shormim 24 Hour Emergency Hotline at 718-338-9797.

This is the dramatic moment an elderly woman fought off a mugger to stop him stealing her cellphone outside her home in Colombia.
A surveillance camera recorded the moment two male suspects drove up on a motorcycle to the residence located in the department of Santander on Sunday afternoon.
The woman was relaxing on a rocking chair and scrolling through her smartphone when one of the individuals approached her and tried to snatch it.

Nadler Makes A Complete Fool of Himself Questioning Barr

First Nadler tried to deny AG Barr a bathroom break ....I am not kidding ...
What was really funny that Nadler kept telling Barr (they didn't let him answer any questions) that calling Troops on Peaceful protestors was illegal.... but that bombed because Jim Jordan showed the video below which showed non-stop riot scenes around the country...
Barr at one point said:
"This is a hearing. I thought I was supposed to be heard."

See column by Michael Goodwin
He came, he saw, he ate their lunch. Bill Barr, denied a meal break, feasted instead on a gaggle of Democratic amateurs.
Another congressional hearing, another Dem disaster. They planned a public hanging of the attorney general and spent weeks constructing their scaffold. He is corrupt, a liar, a toady, they and their media handmaidens assured us, and the House Judiciary Committee will reveal all.
Two obstacles quickly became apparent. The first is that the Dems were led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, whose rabidness is exceeded only by his haplessness.
