Samual Seligson a Jew Arrested for Hate Crimes against his Fellow Jews!
A New York City "journalist" was arrested on felony hate crime charges Tuesday after filming a pro-Palestinian protest earlier this summer in which activists hurled red paint at the homes of top leaders at the Brooklyn Museum.
Samuel Seligson, an independent videographer, was not involved in the vandalism and is only accused of documenting it, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the case. The official spoke with The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation.
Leena Widdi, an attorney for Seligson, said New York Police Department officers twice raided Seligson’s Brooklyn apartment in the past week before he turned himself in early Tuesday.
She described the arrest and use of a hate crime statute as an “appalling” overreach by police against a journalist with a city-issued press credential. Seligson is a fixture at New York City protests who has licensed and sold footage to mainstream outlets, including Reuters and ABC News.
“Samuel is being charged for alleged behavior that is protected by the First amendment and consistent with his job as a credentialed member of the press,” Widdi said in an email. “What is even more concerning, however, is that this member of the press is being charged with a hate crime.”
An NYPD spokesperson confirmed Seligson was charged Tuesday with two counts of criminal mischief with a hate crime advancement, a felony. The spokesperson declined to say what he was accused of doing at the protest.
The June vandalism targeted four homes belonging to members of the Brooklyn Museum’s board, including its Jewish director, generating allegations of antisemitism and condemnations from across the political spectrum.
The activists wore face masks and dark clothing as they spray-painted slogans on the board members’ homes accusing them of funding genocide, according to court papers. They also hung banners featuring an inverted red triangle that authorities say is a symbol used by Hamas to identify Israeli military targets, prosecutors said.
The vandalism came days after hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters occupied the Brooklyn Museum’s lobby and vandalized artwork. Organizers at that event said the museum was “deeply invested in and complicit” in Israel’s military actions in Gaza through its leadership, trustees, corporate sponsors and donors — an allegation museum officials deny.
Last week, police arrested another suspect, 28-year-old Taylor Pelton, who is accused of driving the car used by the vandals. Pelton, like Seligson, is Jewish. Authorities are still seeking four people involved in the vandalism.

Bush, a vocal critic of Israel, had accused the country of an “ethnic cleansing campaign.” Her loss comes on the heels of another “Squad” member, Rep. Jamaal Bowman, losing his seat in New York’s Westchester County to pro-Israel George Latimer.
The race saw significant spending from pro-Israel groups, with at least $9 million spent by PACs aligned with AIPAC and another $500,000 from Democratic Majority for Israel. In contrast, Justice Democrats, the main outside group backing Bush, spent just over $2 million.
Bell, who has received significant funding from pro-Israel groups, was able to outspend Bush and pull ahead in the polls after initially trailing. Bush and her supporters have accused the pro-Israel effort to defeat her of being racist, claiming that AIPAC targets progressive officials of color.
In an open letter before the election, a group of Jewish clergy in St. Louis wrote, “For nearly four years, Cori Bush has not been shy about her desire to isolate, demonize, and discredit Israel… She does not speak for us, nor does her voting record in Congress represent us.”

A miraculous event took place last week, not far from Toronto, in which five Orthodox Jews narrowly escaped a horrific accident. The incident began on Thursday around 10 pm, when a 20 year old driver traveling with four passengers, missed his exit, and attempted to make a U-turn on Highway 400 in Georgian Bay Township. Apparently he took the U-turn too fast, and the vehicle flipped over, landing near the middle of highway
Emergency services responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls, and discovered the miraculous occurrence.
Miraculously, all five passengers immediately managed to exit the vehicle and run across the highway to safety. The driver’s door did not open, but he managed to punch out the window and exited the car along with the passengers.
Within 80 seconds, literally, after the Jewish passengers exited the car, an 18-wheeler (apparently not noticing the flipped over vehicle), drove head on into the vehicle, and literally flattened it into a pancake, according to reports.
According to a source, the responders on scene mentioned to those present that looking at this crash, they would typically be gathering the remains of the people crushed in such a vehicle. However Baruch Hashem, the five people in the car emerged with minor injuries at most.
One of the passengers happened to be on the phone with an acquaintance at a location around 90 minutes away, and the person he was speaking with heard a huge slam and then the phone went blank. That man immediately got into a car and drove to the area.
Upon arriving on the scene, that person was stunned. He saw the flattened vehicle and feared the worst. Within a few moments, he was directed by emergency crews to the ambulances where all five people were being checked out and treated, and he realized that they had managed to escape.

Several Federal Air Marshal (FAM) whistleblowers have come forward to expose that former U.S. Representative and 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is currently enrolled in the controversial Quiet Skies program, Uncover DC reported.
Quiet Skies is a program by the TSA that uses air marshals to track and observe suspicious passengers. The program’s goal is to identify travelers who may pose a risk to aviation security, in short, a terrorist.
Air marshals observe passengers’ behavior in airports and on flights. They take notes and send detailed reports to the TSA. The program is an expansion of a practice where air marshals surveil subjects of open FBI terrorism investigations. This is the same program weaponized against J6 defendants and their families.
In 2023, Sonya LaBosco, the director of the Air Marshal National Council, made a shocking revelation about the current situation of US air security. According to her, in the current conditions, regular commercial flights will not be serviced by air marshals.
