First Charedie Lady on a Political Ticket, On the New Charedei Party, Explains why she is running

The percentage of ultra-Orthodox women diagnosed with breast cancer at a stage where their lives can no longer be saved is five times higher than that of non-ultra-Orthodox women.

This is a painful, sad, and bitter truth.

Despite these harsh statistics, there has never been an ultra-Orthodox MK who has taken action on this issue. Dozens of committees and discussions in the Knesset, but it didn't touch them.

This is my mission. This is what I will do.

My wife, who is an oncologist, has said that b-r-e-a-s-t c-a-n-c-e-r kills and tortures lots of women in that demographic because they have been kept in ignorance of it because it is not tzniusdik to even talk about it. She has had at least one speaking engagement scrubbed because some rabbi vetoed talk about the topic.

The blood of those women is on the rabbis' hands.

Wishing her every Mazel. Fighting back against the troglodytes and primitive misogynists is never easy
