Orthodox Woman Wins $5,000 a Week for Life in Massive New York Millions Lottery
Henya Fried was recently confirmed as the grand prize winner of the “Set for Life” instant game after purchasing the lucky ticket in Spring Valley. The top prize allows winners to choose between receiving $5,000 every week for the rest of their lives or accepting a one-time cash payout valued at approximately $3.46 million before taxes.
Lottery officials say the lifetime option guarantees annual payments totaling $260,000 before taxes for the first 20 years. Should the winner outlive that period, the weekly payments continue for the rest of their life, making it one of the state’s most valuable recurring lottery prizes.
.The winner’s husband, Meir Fried, is a familiar face in the Monsey community, where he serves as Customer Service Manager at Rockland Kosher Supermarket. Known for his warm personality and dedication to helping customers, he is widely recognized by residents throughout the area.
News of the win has spread quickly through Monsey, with friends and neighbors extending warm congratulations to the Fried family on their extraordinary and life-changing blessing.

Employees are in court with Rockland Kosher for stealing their wages & are trying to get it certified as class action. There are hundreds of employees currently between the supermarket, the warehouse in Willy & the wine store they own in Shopper’s Haven Monsey mall. Not to mention former employees. I’m not surprised considering all the geneivishe shtick this company does to customers!
The comment the person posted above is fake. Or sounds like an angry liberal an angry pro illegal Hispanic who is just jealous of Jews. The Fried’s are deserving if ever there were. Mr. Fried is a tremendous Baal chesed helping people with food and groceries including my own family. I was a single mother and he allowed me to to get groceries.
Single mother, RK is allowed to steal wages just because employees snuck into the country? Are you also going to defend the Monsey yenta who had a whole crew of Mexican laborers working on her house & connivingly called ICE to round them up when it was time to pay them? You don’t seem to know how things work in the real world. There are people who do Chesed in one direction while doing avlos in the other direction. Sometimes the Chesed is only when people are looking so they get Kuved. Sometimes no one is looking but they have some good in them. RK is known by the way, among their various avlos, that they dump their chumetz on delivery customers in their Pesach shopping to get rid of it without taking a hit, and make it zeyer shver to get refunded. Besides the geferlich michshol that whoever didn’t catch it is doomed
Stopped shopping at Rockland Kosher when I noticed cockroaches on the shelves in an aisle. If they are on those shelves that means they are also in the back in the bakery & take out food preparation areas. Disgusting & 5 lavin for each bug that those filthy Vizhnitzer Ferd owners allowed it tze kim tze dem!
