2) The rebbe is a malach elokim that walks amongst us
3) The entire world exists because of tzaddikim and it is in the merit of our rebbe that we even exist
4)The rebbe is the light of our generation, he directs us and his eyes can see the distance (future)

Every single chasidus believes this trash, thus one of the major reasons why the cherems were not sinas chinam.
Okay, for kicks and giggles here's some counter-arguments.
1) This is standard chasidus. Like Yoshke for the Chrisians, the "tzaddik" is the conduit between Heaven and Earth carrying our prayers up to God and bringin His bounty down to us
2) Malach can be read as "angel" or "messenger". If you want to read "angel", that is often a title given to great tzadikim. For example, Rav Avraham Kook, ztk"k, was also referred to as an "angel amongst men"
3) Again, standard chasidic thinking that the tzadik's righteousness maintains the world.
4) How is "see the distance" crazier than flying talking horses?

10:15PM - this type of belief is not just one or two sects (at least in theory - if all the people following know it, and how much it is stressed, taught, I don't know), but the Lubab version may be more extreme.
