They don't hate Hamas. They hate the consequences of the war.
I don't buy those protests at all.

It's both.
After the ceasefire went into effect, Hamas spun it as a victory and Gaza celebrated. They really believed the war was over and that they'd won.
Then Israel resumed the war and they realized that Hamas had lied to them.
They don't love Israel. They hate Hamas because they know that its prolonging their misery. If Hamas were, chas v'shalom, to pull off a terrible strike against Israel tomorrow, they'd go back to cheering them.
