On Tuesday, Squad member Jamaal Bowman spread vicious lies about Israel on MSNBC.
On “Alex Wagner Tonight,” Bowman, a far-left New York Democrat congressman, claimed that he was not allowed past certain checkpoints by the IDF because he is not Jewish. Bowman also absurdly claimed that Israel’s safety and security are directly linked to Palestinian freedom, safety, and security. (If anything, the two are inversely proportional.)
Bowman said, “We have been saying for so long, we are pro-Israel, pro-Israel’s right to exist, pro-Israel’s right to defend itself and self-determination. But we haven’t been saying the same thing about Palestinians…Israel’s safety and security [are] directly connected to Palestinian freedom, safety, and security.”
Bowman added, “…we’ve been using a lot of r
hetoric around the two-state solution for decades. And when I went there, I saw that we are nowhere near a two-state solution. Myself, as a sitting member of Congress, could not walk through certain checkpoints in the West Bank because I wasn’t Jewish. So, we’re using rhetoric, but our policies aren’t matching the rhetoric and our policies aren’t matching the urgency of the moment. October 7 was a horrible day, a horrific day and Hamas must be condemned and we must get the hostages back, absolutely. But condemnation is only step one. How are we going to do the work to actually get to a state for Palestinians?”
Bowman also said, “I spoke to Israeli and Palestinian scholars over the phone just to learn more about it. And one of them — I forget his name — told me that we’re at the Civil Rights Era moment here in the West Bank. This is like Jim Crow…because although I didn’t live during the Jim Crow South, I read about it. And when I went there, it felt that way. It felt suffocating, it felt stifling, it felt immobile. And again, for me, as a sitting member of Congress, who has voted in support of the Iron Dome…I felt what he was talking about there.”
Rabbi Yaakov Menken, Managing Director of the Coalition for Jewish Values, slammed Bowman and called for him to be censured. Rabbi Menken tweeted: “Because he is a Member of Congress, it does not matter if he is lying from ignorance, stupidity, or malice. Whichever way, he is spreading antisemitic lies, and antisemitism always leads to genocide. For this alone he should be censured, but I won’t hold my breath.”
Bowman infamously pulled a fire alarm as lawmakers scrambled to pass a funding bill before a government shutdown in September, in a pathetic effort to delay the vote. The alarm prompted an evacuation of a House office building. Bowman later claimed that he was trying to exit the building–a ridiculous assertion, which fails to explain why pulling an alarm would help open locked doors. In addition, security video later surfaced, showing Bowman removing signs that said “emergency exit” only.

He used to work in a public school which has similar fire alarms all over the building ,so he had to be familiar with them.He lied and he broke the law creating a possible dangerous situation in a large crowded building . Pulling a fire alarm in a school will get you suspended from school. This anti-Semite should be removed from office.
