Rabbi Assi Spiegel, from Chabad of Israel, visited the Arutz Sheva studio to discuss his recent trip to America with families of individuals kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in Gaza. In a remarkable initiative, Chabad chartered a plane over a week ago to bring this large group, deeply affected by pain, to the Ohel of the Rebbe, the Lubavitcher Rebbe's resting place in Queens, for prayers.
Rabbi Spiegel emphasized that Chabad's project was solely aimed at helping, providing hope, and offering love and support to those in need. Chabad, he explained, has no political agenda and is not aligned with any government side; it was an act driven by pure love, echoing the principles of the Rebbe.
Following their visit to the Ohel, the group proceeded to Washington. There, they were received in Congress by politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties. In a rare display of unity, these politicians came together to listen to the pleas for help from the affected families, showing support and conveying a powerful message to the world about the strength of the Jewish nation and the significance of bringing the kidnapped individuals back to their homes in Israel.
I was deeply moved by the profound impact of Rabbi Spiegel's words and the intricate behind-the-scenes preparations for such a significant project. It highlights our identity as a nation of strength, emphasizing the need to shed light and raise awareness globally. In the face of dark forces seeking destruction, it becomes crucial to open the eyes of the world to our collective resilience.
The Rebbe serves as the guiding light for Chabad and, in a broader sense, for the world as it anticipates the arrival of Moshiach. The initiative undertaken by Chabad reflects a commitment to embodying the Rebbe's teachings and principles, serving as a beacon of hope and inspiration in challenging times. May all the kidnapped return safely to their homes as soon as possible. Amen

Mr. DIN:
עד מתי?
More Chabad Lubavitch propaganda here? Is there not enough of that rubbish elsewhere?
Are they at least paying you for the advertising? Don't tell me you give it to them free of charge?
This is just more Chabad propaganda. You may not be aware of it, by the way, but not only is the interviewee in this case a Chabadsker, but so is the interviewer, Hadassah Chen, of Chabad-Lubavitch (source: https://www.jpost.com/aliyah/article-728366), so they are both doing their duty as Chabadskers to promote their sect and their late Rebbuh, with this fawning webcast.
The whole thing is a big scam. The families were offered a free trip to the USA, a dream for many Israelis, also to go to Washington to lobby for their loved ones, in a group. So yes, many accepted. People in such a situation can be desperate and grab anything that might help. Of course, Chabad Lubavitch, cynically took advantage of them to promote their late Rebbe and their sect in general. So Chabad collects money for it, and gets PR for itself. Chabad promotes it as if they traveled so far just to go to the grave of their long dead Rebbuh, but the reality is more complicated.
C'mon DIN
While we are at war and Jewish blood is being shed, I don't really care what their motive is. If people in pain find comfort in going to the Ohel, who am I to criticize them.
Mrs Chen herself is a "baalas yesurim" I guess you don't know her story. Be that as it may I personally am all for their "Tefillin Campaign" and their kiruv even if it's to promote Chabad.
If I were to ask you who are the biggest "Baalei Chesed?' You would undoubtedly say "Satmar" and you would be correct except that they do "chesed" to cover for their hate of other Jews. Yes! They will do chesed for every Jew even a Zionist if he is sick and gasping for air, so they will bring him Chicken soup, but they as a "chassidus" has instilled and embedded such hate and division in Klall Yisrael that I really believe that we are in Golus NOT because of Chabad with their messianic messages, nor the Zionists and the Medinah but we are in Galut because of the "False SHIT'Ah" of Satmar. That is one mans opinion but looking at those who follow me I would have to say that I have a lot of company, and I might add, "unfortunately."
"Mrs Chen herself is a "baalas yesurim" I guess you don't know her story."
I know that she lost a child, I guess that is what you meant. That info is at the link posted in the first comment (https://www.jpost.com/aliyah/article-728366). But what does that have to do with the discussion here?
FYI, I am not a Satmarer.
Chabad Lubavitch does "chesed" to promote their sect and their late Rebbuh, the false Messiah of Crown Heights, Moshiach Sheker Mamash ממ"ש - מנחם מנדל שניאורסאן מנדל משיח שקר. Please, don't let your issues with Satmar blind you to that, dear DIN.
My feeling is that din has some sort of connection to satMar, and many open-minded satMars become chabad as a means to distance themselves from their roots
How many Baalei Teshuva have been created by Satmar or any other chassidic or Litbish group? Ask any SYAS shadchan and they will tell you about the hundreds / thousands of resumes of singles who have written ; “My parents became Frum through Chabad or I became Frum through Chabad. “ Many of these young adults went to various yeshivos because of the influence of the Shalichim. Give credit where credit is due. Thousands of branches and refills have been said because of Chabad.I am not Lubavitch , but my favorite chassidic group is Lubavitch.
