The Gedolim/Poskim (R' Moshe Feinstein Z'l, the Manchester Rosh Hayeshiva R' Yehuda Zev Segal Z'l)who backed Dor Yeshorim at its inception, were emphatic that the screening process be used BEFORE young people meet. It absolutely was NOT to be used as a tool to determine whom to marry, only as a way to decide whom to meet, much as other factors are used (background, lvush, appearance etc).
Stupid girl. Knowing which specific "things" you're a carrier of won't make your life easier. You'll carry it around with you forever and it'll ruin your life.
