The struggle against the “Zionist regime” is the top issue for the Muslim world and therefore Iran retains an unwavering policy of siding with the Palestinians against Israel, senior Iranian official Ali Akbar Velayati stated.

Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine Department of Microbiology and Clinical Immunology immunologist Prof. Moti Gerlic is part of an initiative by doctors and scientists called the 'Common Sense Model', and criticizes the "war on coronavirus".
"Management looking at the epidemic is wrong in general. The tools we use to measure coronavirus are relevant to verified patients. The tests that give us a measure of people who have probably met the virus do not give us a true measure of patients. A person who tests positive for the virus should be distinguished from a patient." Says Gerlitz in an interview with Arutz Sheva.
"The system, in the end, is run according to the numbers of people who encountered the virus and not according to the state of the patients in the economy and tends to lean towards the side of panic. It's stuck in the same concept as in February and March."
Prof. Gerlic argues that the health care system creates pressure on the public while the situation should be much less stressful. "Today we're talking about a third lockdown and the collapse of the health system, and I just want to mention that at the height of the second closure, 800 critical patients were dealt with and we aren't close to that number at all. The numbers that were defined four months ago as a red line have gone down. What we dealt with before is now a problem to deal with, and already with 2,000 verified patients a day there's talk of closure. The conduct is extreme. We know more about the virus every day and the treatments are better; we should have been less panicked."

Ezra with "Lady Gaga and anti-Israel NY Senator |
"what I and many of us witnessed this past year was cult-like behavior. The cult-like behavior expressed itself in messianic terms, framing the candidate in idolatrous proportions, clouding our judgment in evaluating the candidate and his policies and inhibiting his followers from practically assessing the opponent.
This behavior is an amateur manifestation of how to engage in the political process, it doesn't bring support to your candidate, it actually diminishes the importance of the election and why you should support that candidate in the first place. More compelling to us, it exudes unwanted attention to our community.
Yes, unwanted attention is a negative byproduct of such idolatry-politics."

An Italian rabbi’s letter to King Henry VIII concerning the Tudor monarch’s effort to annul the first of his six marriages, a 16th-century spellbook, and what is believed to be the earliest dated copy of the “Guide for the Perplexed” by Moses Maimonides are among the Jewish treasures featured in a Hebrew manuscripts exhibition at the British Library.
The exhibition, which is available online for virtual visitors around the globe and will open for in-person viewing beginning December 3, showcases around 40 of the roughly 3,000 Hebrew manuscripts held by the UK’s national library. Running through April 11, 2021, it aims, among other themes, to highlight the interaction between Diaspora Jewish communities and their non-Jewish neighbors.
The library’s collection — which has been put together over the past 250 years — has recently been digitized. Ilana Tahan, the exhibition’s curator, describes it as “a sort of celebration” of the completion of the six-year project.
“By digitizing these manuscripts we ultimately expose them to a global audience and people wherever they live… in every corner of the world, can access them freely,” she says.

The Justice Department today announced that it filed a lawsuit against the Village of Airmont, New York, alleging that it violated the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) by targeting the Orthodox Jewish community through zoning ordinances restricting religious schools and home synagogues, and by enforcing its zoning code in a discriminatory manner to prevent Orthodox Jews from using their property consistent with their faith.

Outgoing Attorney General William Barr’s decision to appoint a special counsel to investigate the handling of the Russia probe ensures his successor won’t have an easy transition.
The move, which Barr detailed to The Associated Press on Tuesday, could lead to heated confirmation hearings for Joe Biden’s nominee, who hasn’t been announced. Senate Republicans will likely use that forum to extract a pledge from the pick to commit to an independent investigation.
The pressure on the new attorney general is unlikely to ease once they take office. With the special counsel continuing to work during the early days of the Biden administration, it may be tough for the Justice Department’s new leadership to launch investigations of President Donald Trump and his associates without seeming to be swayed by political considerations.
Barr elevated U.S. Attorney John Durham to special counsel as Trump continues to propel his claims that the Russia investigation that shadowed his presidency was a “witch hunt.”

The Mashgiach of the Mir Yerushalahim, Hagaon HaRav Aharon Chadash was niftar, he was 92.
HaRav Chadash contracted COVID-19 in October and was hospitalized a few days later. His condition deteriorated and was placed on a ventilator until his Petira.
The Mashgiach suffered from weakness and breathing issues in recent years (prior to the coronavirus pandemic) and walked around with an oxygen tank. He was also hospitalized many times due to weakness. Nevertheless, despite his weakness, HaRav Chadash had been Makpid to come to each and every Tefillah at the Mir with great Mesiras Nefesh. In later years he moved to an apartment next to the Yeshiva so it would be easier for him to come.
The Mashgiach touched the lives of – literally – tens of thousands of Bochrim who learned in the Mir over the decades. With a brilliant and nearly photographic mind, the Mashgiach used to know every single Bochur’s name, where they slept, and kept track of everyone. In later years, as the yeshiva grew to thousands of Talmidim at one time, he used notes and later a computer to assist him.
He would invite Bochrim to his Seudos on Shabbos, and loved singing Zemiros with them. He would find the Bochrim who came from homes that struggled with Parnassah and buy them new clothing for Yom Tov.
Most of his Chesed was done quietly and behind the scenes, with no one ever knowing about it.
He kept in touch with Talmidim decades after they left Yeshiva, and would incredibly remember their first names 30 years after they had left Yeshiva. Years after they left he would still remember minute details of each Bochur, such as those who were good Baalei Tefillah, those who were Masmidim, and those who need an extra push to keep Shmiras Hasdorim in the Yeshiva.
Rav Aharon’s father was the famed Mashgiach in Yeshivas Chevron, Hagaon HaRav Meir Chadash ZATZAL His mother, Rebbetzin Tziviah Leah, was the daughter of Harav Naftali Menachem Hutner, Rav in Eishishok, Lithuania, and Rebbetzin Kreina, the sister of Harav Moshe Mordechai Epstein, Rosh Yeshivah, Knesses Yisrael in Slabodka and later in Chevron.
His brothers are Hagaon HaRav Moshe Mordechai Chadash ZATZAL, Rosh Yeshivah, Yeshivas Ohr Elchanan who was Niftar in 2016, and YBLC”T Hagaon HaRav Naftali Chadash, Mashgiach in Yeshivas Ohr Elchanan; Hagaon HaRav Yosef Chadash, and a sister, Rebbetzin Shulamit Ezrachi, the wife of Hagaon HaRav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshivah, Yeshivas Ateres Yisrael.

Joe Biden never did this before in 47 years of campaigning, but beginning a few weeks ago he started doing a little fake jogging every time he made an entrance.
Obviously, it looks totally out of place to be running inside on a stage, but a consultant came up with the fake jog to distract you from the fact that he's old and frail and once he does speak he seems lost and confused. Watch how silly and forced it looks:

One of Joe Biden’s first priorities as president will be to risk stoking a new migrant crisis. After much trial and error, President Trump came up with arrangements with Mexico and Central American countries that drastically diminished the pressure from asylum-seekers on our southern border.
Biden has pledged to overturn these policies, as well as undermine enforcement and boost immigration numbers generally. The lie about Biden is that he is a “moderate,” when the truth is that he has always been smack in the middle of his party, which now bristles with contempt for borders and the agents who police them. Its attitude will color everything Biden does.
The migrant crisis that had Trump adopt, then quickly abandon, a zero-tolerance policy that separated children from their parents wasn’t of his making. President Barack Obama struggled with the same surge at the border, and many of the photos of children in cages used to condemn Trump date from the Obama years.

Women and trans people alike often share a struggle to breastfeed their newborns, according to a motherhood advocacy organization, which has recently chosen to invite any mom, including those who did not give birth, into their support groups.
The move has ignited controversy, with one British critic saying the global group, La Leche League, has “lost its focus on the mother and baby.”
Founded by a group of American moms in 1956, LLL has extended its branches across 89 countries, according to their website, with hundreds of active meeting groups across the US alone, each of which is lead by a local “leader.”
Recently, the league’s UK branch, LLLGB, made a statement in regards to trans women and men, writing that the group aims to be more “inclusive.” The league extended support to transgender men, who were born with female anatomy but currently identify as male, as well as non-binary parents.
“Trans men, trans women and non-binary individuals may choose to breastfeed or chestfeed their babies,” they write. “You do not need to have given birth to breastfeed or chestfeed, as we can also see in the experiences of those nursing adopted babies.”
LLLGB uses the term “chestfeed” to acknowledge those who have undergone transition and prefer not to use the word “breast.” They also advise those determined to chestfeed on how to “stimulate their milk supply” via hormones.

The failure to protect nursing-home residents is by now a depressingly familiar fact of the pandemic in America — especially in the Empire State, where Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s grievous March order forcing homes to accept COVID-positive patients led to the death of at least 6,000 New Yorkers (the real figure could be double that).
Nationwide, these residents constitute 40 percent of deaths, though they represent less than 1 percent of the population. Yet the novel coronavirus has proved deadly to our elders in another, perhaps more insidious and invisible, way. According to barely noticed reporting from the Associated Press, straight-up neglect has killed another 40,000 residents.
Take the case of Donald Wallace. The 75-year-old retired trucker survived COVID-19, according to the AP, but neglect led to him becoming so malnourished and dehydrated that he dropped to 98 pounds, suffered septic shock and likely choked on his own food. “They stopped taking care of him,” his son Kevin said of the Alabama facility that took “care” of Wallace (the facility denied neglect).
Reports are coming from all over the country, including New York, of diapers left on for so long, the skin peels off when they are removed. Of bedridden residents who haven’t been turned for so long, you could see their bones through their sores. Often, the profound isolation leads to deaths that certificates simply label as “failure to thrive.”

A crisis is an event that leads to an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community, or society as a whole. The Chinese word for crisis presents an excellent depiction of the components of a crisis. The word "crisis" in Chinese is formed with the characters for danger and opportunity. Crisis is a perception or experience of an event or situation that triggers an intolerable difficulty that exceeds the person’s internal resources and coping mechanisms.
Not since the Great Depression have we witnessed a similar crisis of trust as we enter the second year of the Corona virus pandemic. Just under a century ago, the Great Depression began with the Wall Street Crash in October 1929. The stock market crash marked the beginning of a decade of high unemployment, poverty, low profits, deflation, plunging farm incomes, and lost opportunities for economic growth as well as for personal advancement.
Altogether, there was a general loss of confidence and trust in government, politicians, and public agencies. Above all, what happened in the early 1930s was a loss of trust in authority, specifically a loss of faith that the institutions that ordered society could be counted on to provide stability and enable prosperity.
As the world attempts to find solutions to the escalating COVID-19 pandemic, a crisis of what to belief and whom to trust has emerged, posing a major challenge for political leaders managing the pandemic in their respective countries. Levels of trust in our institutions, in our political leaders, and in one another are at an all-time low.

Franklin D. Roosevelt is widely remembered as a strong leader who boldly led America out of the Great Depression and to the brink of victory in World War II.
Yet when it comes to the Holocaust, some defenders of FDR's record want us to believe he was not responsible for keeping Jewish refugees out of America—as if that was all the handiwork of the State Department, which supposedly ran U.S. immigration policy and foreign policy independently of the president’s wishes.
Sorry, but you can’t have it both ways.
