Quebec To Allow Gatherings During X-Mas, But Not Chanukah

Jewish groups in Quebec are expressing dismay after the province announced a plan to allow small gatherings at Christmas but said gatherings during Hanukkah would remain prohibited.

The plan would permit Quebecers to have gatherings of up to 10 people per day for four days in late December, in a concession to the fact that families would likely gather even as COVID-19 cases surge. Gatherings were not permitted during Canadian Thanksgiving last month, but people got together nonetheless and cases soon surged throughout the country.

Premier François Legault said Dec. 24-27 was chosen to allow residents to quarantine before and after without disrupting school and work schedules. But he also said he believed that Quebecers craved time with their families and that allowing them to come together would give them hope during a dark time.

“Christmas, the holidays, is a time of year that’s precious, and let’s remember that family is the basis of our lives,” he said last week.

Asked whether any exceptions to the province’s ban on gatherings would be allowed during Hanukkah, which this year runs Dec. 10-18,

Legault said no.

Disgusting: Florida Holocaust Center Features "George Floyd" Section

“A new exhibit at the Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center in Maitland features powerful and inspiring photos taken in the wake of George Floyd’s death,” Orlando 6 reported. The man behind the photographs in the exhibit, John Nolter, went to the location where Floyd was arrested by law enforcement officials to take pictures of people reacting to his death.

Lisa Bachman, Assistant Executive Director of The Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center of Florida, said in a statement: “You don’t just see this exhibit. You feel it. The expressions and thoughts of each person photographed tells a story that has a very universal message. It is one that can heal and bring us together. It shows us we are not alone in our thinking.”

Online, news that the museum had opened an exhibit to honor Floyd sparked outrage, with many commenting that it was disrespectful to victims of the Holocaust.

Ezra Levant, founder of Rebel News, wrote: “George Floyd is added to a Holocaust museum? That trivializes and distorts the Holocaust and its six million Jewish victims. And it grotesquely implies that American police are Nazis.”

Radio host Dan O’Donnell wrote: “A Holocaust museum added a George Floyd exhibit because we live in a world of idiots where words no longer have meaning.”

Columnist Caroline Glick wrote: “The Florida Holocaust museum at a JCC in Orlando has taken a huge step towards transforming the annihilation of European Jewry into a farce. This is a travesty, an insult to the Jewish people throughout history. And I fear it is just a taste of the madness to come.”

Former British politician Martin Daubney wrote: “Unbelievable: the Holocaust Museum in Maitland, Florida has added a George Floyd section To align Floyd’s tragic death with the massacre of 6million Jews is hugely insensitive But it’s also political: it positions police as Nazis. Awful decision. There absolutely is a place for this photographic memorial to Floyd. The images have merit, its creator is well-intentioned & America is a free country. But not at this location. That’s all I’m saying. It’s politicising and positioning is all wrong.”

Netanyahu secretly visited Saudi Arabia Sunday

An Israeli source claimed that Netanyahu accompanied US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the city of Neom in Saudi Arabia Monday. Mossad chief Yossi Cohen was also present, the source claimed.

The three met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to the Israeli official cited in the report.

Netanyahu traveled to Saudi Arabia on a private airplane owned by Israeli businessman Ehud 'Udi' Angel.

Air traffic reports show that Angel's plane took off from Ben Gurion International Airport at 10:00 p.m. Sunday, flying directly to Neom, Saudi Arabia. The plane then returned to Israel five and a half hours later.

The Prime Minister's Office has refused to comment on the report.

On Sunday, Pompeo tweeted that he was set to met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, but did not mention Netanyahu. The tweet was published at approximately the same time Angel's aircraft departed for Neom.

"In Saudi Arabia where I’ll meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. I look forward to discussing our efforts to counter terrorism, deter Iran’s malign influence, promote respect for human rights, and expand our two-way trade relationship.”

The night trip to Neom took place at the time when a coronavirus cabinet meeting had been scheduled. On Saturday night, Netanyahu announced that the meeting would be postponed to Monday.

Secret Huge Satmar Wedding Causes Chilul Hashem Throughout the Entire World

Satmar's rallying cry against the State of Israel is "hisgarus be'umois" antagonizing the gentile world .... to Satmar that applies to all except of course themselves....

Just a month ago the Satmar Rebbe wrote a letter praising the Governor and asking his followers to follow regulations...

and this is exactly what our ancestor , the matriarch Rivka was afraid of ....

The parsha last weeks describes how Rivka was agitated when she was pregnant because as Rashi describes, that when she passed a Shul the baby was struggling to get out and then when she passed a pagan church again the baby struggled to get out ...she was confused. She decided to ask her local Rabbi what was going on ... the Rabbi calmed her down .."Don't you worry... you have twins, one will be a tzaddik and the other one will be wicked rasha.

Question: From the text it seems that Rivka was satisfied with this answer... now I'm no Rivka in any shape or form, but if I would get a definitive answer from my Rabbi that one of my children was going to be a rasha.. I wouldn't be so calm .. I would try to break every barrier to make sure that this prophecy would not come true ... but Rivka seemed to be calm and satisfied ... what's up with that?

Answer: Rivka originally thought that she only had one child and that child was a hypocrite ... he would be dressed like a chareidie but in his heart a wicked rasha..that she couldn't deal with ... but then the Rabbi told her .. that it would be twins .. she calmed down ... Remember Rivka had a brother and a father that were wicked and cruel .. she knew how to deal with them, she wasn't frightened that one of her children would be a rasha.. she figured that she could deal with a rasha... she could perhaps change him to be a better person ...with a rasha there is still hope...and even if he himself never changes .. his children and grandchildren can turn around ...

but not with a hypocrite .... there is no hope for a hypocrite and that's why Rivka was agitated ..

Vehameivan Yavin!

The following is an unedited article Associated Press about the now international news story regarding the massive Satmar wedding that was recently held in Williamsburg.   and was reported as far away as Australian TV.)

Iran Scared of Trump's Final Weeks in Office Warning it's Allies To "Cease Attacks Against Americans"

What does that tell you about how they feel about Biden? They will play him like the crazed uncle in the attic.... remember how during Obama's term they captured a bunch of US soldiers and humiliated them? All that is coming back... brace yourselves

Iran has instructed allies across the Middle East to be on high alert and avoid provoking tensions with the U.S. that could give an outgoing Trump administration cause to launch attacks in the U.S. president’s final weeks in office, Iraqi officials have said.

The request — delivered by a senior Iranian general to allies in Baghdad this week — reflects the growing regional anxiety over President Donald Trump’s unpredictable behavior and the uncertainty in the chaotic transition period until President-elect Joe Biden takes over in two months.

Iran’s allies have collectively welcomed Trump’s election defeat. Under his presidency, tensions with Iran escalated, reaching fever pitch at the beginning of the year with the U.S. airstrike that killed Iran’s top general, Qassim Soleimani, at the Baghdad airport. Iran launched a ballistic missile attack in response to the fatal drone strike, targeting U.S. soldiers in Iraq and wounding dozens.

Trump also unilaterally withdrew America in 2018 from Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers, meant to prevent it from developing nuclear weapons, and re-imposed punishing sanctions on Iran, crippling its economy.

J Street uses a German pro-terrorist EU bureaucrat to malign Jewish neighborhood

Germans aren't happy that there are still Jews alive, but now they have help from a supposed "pro-Israel" antisemitic organization. J Street a self hating Jewish organization are joining the Germans to try to dismantle the Jewish state ...

J Street, in a mid-November email appeal, quoted an unnamed "top EU diplomat" in its tirade against an Israeli government call for bids for new homes in a nearly 30 year-old Jerusalem neighborhood, Givat Hamatos, where Ethiopian Jewish and Russian immigrants live.

What's worse than J Street's vitriol against the construction of Jewish homes, is that the name of the EU functionary was left off of J Street's rant, probably intentionally, because he is an anti-Israel extremist who earlier this year gave outright support for terrorists. According to Israel's Foreign Ministry, he stated that Palestinian Arabs affiliated with blacklisted groups remain eligible to participate in projects funded by the EU.

J Street is the controversial Washington, D.C., based Jewish pressure group that, judging by its actions, seems to have been created specifically, and almost exclusively, to lobby for an independent Palestinian state. J Street maintains, as a central theme, that Jews do not have a right to live wherever they choose and must be transferred out of their homes and neighborhoods in wide swaths of Judea-Samaria where Israeli citizens have lived for nearly fifty years.

The EU bureaucrat who opposes Jewish homes in Givat Hamatos in southern Jerusalem, and who was quoted by J Street, is a German named Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff.

Von Burgsdorff previously was the head of the EU's delegation to South Sudan and in a May 8, 2020 JTA article, he was identified as heading the "EU mission to the West Bank and Gaza Strip."

NYT Columnist Who Called For ‘End Of Israel’ To Appear With Noted Antisemites

This would be so funny if it weren't so tragic... a bunch of Jew Haters will discuss "Dismantling Antisemitism" on a panel discussion ...

All the animals on the panel hate Jews ...

Anti-Israel activist groups are sponsoring a panel discussion on “dismantling antisemitism,” featuring New York Times columnist Peter Beinart who previously called for the “end of Israel” as a panelist.

Despite promoting anti-Israel rhetoric in the past, Beinart, joined by Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Barbara Ransby, and Marc Lamont Hill, is slated to speak at a discussion titled, “Dismantling Antisemitism, Winning Justice,” sponsored by anti-Israel groups such as United Against Hate, Jewish Currents, Jewish Voice for Peace, Arab American Institute, and Foundation for Middle East Peace.

Just a few months ago, Beinart openly called for the undermining of Israel and Zionism by creating an equal state shared by the Palestinians in a New York Times op-ed titled “I No Longer Believe in a Jewish State.”

“It’s time to abandon the traditional two-state solution and embrace the goal of equal rights for Jews and Palestinians. It’s time to imagine a Jewish home that is not a Jewish state,” he wrote.

“Israel-Palestine can be a Jewish home that is also, equally, a Palestinian home,” he added.

Beinart’s words echo those of former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi who also advocated for Palestine to gain more authority and status in 2001 in the New York Times.

In addition to his beliefs on a shared state, Beinart also wrote a column in 2019 in The Guardian claiming that “Anti-Zionism is not inherently antisemitic – and claiming it is uses Jewish suffering to erase the Palestinian experience.” He claims “it is bigoted to take away that statehood once achieved.”

He also claimed that Israeli Jews shouldn’t decide what is antisemitism is because political motivations factor into their definition.

“It is an understandable impulse: let the people threatened by antisemitism define antisemitism. The problem is that, in many countries, Jewish leaders serve both as defenders of local Jewish interests and defenders of the Israeli government. And the Israeli government wants to define anti-Zionism as bigotry because doing so helps Israel kill the two-state solution with impunity,” he wrote.

In addition to Beinart’s blatant opposition to Israel, other featured panelists have strong antisemitic pasts.

Dominion Voting Systems CEOs Back out of Oversight Hearing at Last Minute and Lawyer Up

The company that makes many of the voting machines used in this year’s controversial election said yes and then no when asked to sit down with Pennsylvania lawmakers to answer questions about the company’s machines.

Dominion’s machines, which have a history of concerns, were used in many counties in Pennsylvania. President Donald Trump has questioned whether the machines were a factor in the apparent election of Democrat Joe Biden.

While there have been multiple alleged instances of voting irregularities in multiple states, proof has yet to surface of widespread nefarious activity that affected the final results of the presidential election.

To get to the bottom of the issue, Republican state Rep. Seth Grove, acting chairman of the State Government Committee, said the company had pulled out of a scheduled appearance before his panel.

“The members of the state government committee were looking forward to publicly addressing the plethora of accusations of Dominion Voting Systems in a format which would have allowed open and honest dialogue. I was impressed at what appeared to be the willingness of Dominion Voting Systems to address accusations, and it would have put the 1.3 million Pennsylvanians who used their machines at ease, including myself,” he said Friday, according to The Epoch Times.

“Unfortunately, last evening, Dominion Voting Systems lawyered up and backed out of their commitment,” he said.

Grove said the turnabout does not look good for the embattled company.
