How tweet it is: Twitter backs down, unlocks Post’s account ..gain 190,000 followers

Twitter backed down Friday in its battle with The Post and unlocked its main account after a two-week stalemate over the Hunter Biden exposé.

The move came after The Post refused Twitter’s demand that it delete six tweets that linked to stories that the company claimed — without any evidence — were based on hacked information.

The Post never budged, and kept the tweets on the account during the standoff — even as Twitter obscured them from view.

In a series of tweets, the social-media giant said it was revising its “Hacked Materials Policy” and “updating our practice of not retroactively overturning prior enforcement.”

“Our policies are living documents,” said one of the tweets from @TwitterSafety.

“We’re willing to update and adjust them when we encounter new scenarios or receive important feedback from the public.”

The Post immediately celebrated the victory with a tweet declaring “We’re baaaaaaack” and an image of the tabloid’s Saturday front page, with the headline “FREE BIRD!”

Twitter let Iran spew Holocaust-denying lies yet blocked a NY newspaper in the world's 2nd biggest Jewish community from tweeting a reply because it dared probe Hunter Biden

Yesterday, after America's biggest tech giant bosses were grilled by a US senate committee, a tweet was posted by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

In it, he asked: 'Why is it a crime to raise doubts about the Holocaust?'

Under normal circumstances, one of the world's most powerful leaders directly questioning the very existence of a Nazi-orchestrated genocide of over six million Jews during WWII is the kind of hideously inflammatory statement that a major American newspaper like the New York Post would have wanted to report on and respond to.

Not least because New York is home to 1.1 million Jews, the largest Jewish community anywhere in the world outside of Israel.

But the Post couldn't respond.

Not on the same platform, anyway.

Because Twitter has disgracefully locked out the Post's account for two weeks after it reported allegations of financial impropriety surrounding Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden's son Hunter based on the contents of his laptop.

So, Khamenei was able to spew his vile Holocaust-denying filth to his 836,000 followers without any fear of factual rebuttal by a newspaper representing many of the people who would find his comments most offensive.

Just as he was able to tweet on previous occasions that Israel's a 'cancerous growth' which must be 'uprooted and destroyed', and this direct threat: 'We will support and assist any nation or any group anywhere who opposes and fights the Zionist regime, and we do not hesitate to say this.'

Why has Twitter allowed him to do all this without any form of censorship?

The company's boss Jack Dorsey told senators yesterday: 'We did not find those to violate our terms of service because we considered them 'saber rattling,' which is part of the speech of world leaders in concert with other countries.'

However, the same 'saber rattling' rule doesn't apply to US President Donald Trump, whose tweets are now regularly suppressed by Twitter with fact-check and violence labels.

'Speech against our own people or a country's own citizens we believe is different and can cause more immediate harm,' explained Dorsey.

Hmmm.

Really, Jack?

Dorsey further argued that tweets are only flagged if they contain 'misinformation' or 'misleading' information regarding three different categories: 'manipulated media; public health, specifically COVID; and civic integrity, election interference and voter suppression.'

How then does he defend not flagging up Khameini's Holocaust-denying lies?

It's hard to imagine a worse example of 'misinformation' than that.

President Trump’s Arizona Rally: 20% of Attendees Weren’t Republicans – 36% Didn’t Vote in 2016

While Joe Biden’s rallies draw attendees by the dozens, President Donald Trump continues attracting people by the thousands.

We know who is attending Biden’s rallies: Democrats who would’ve voted Democrat no matter what. Biden isn’t pulling support from anywhere else. Despite the rise of self-professed “principled Republicans” voting against their principles like the David Frenchs of the world, or the more transparent grifters like those in the Lincoln Project, Trump is expected to win a larger share of the Republican vote than he did in 2016. Seven percent of Republicans defected and voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016, but only 5% plan on voting for Biden this year. Of note, 8% of Republicans voted for Obama in 2008.

Meanwhile, President Trump is even pulling some support from Democrats. Party Chair Ronna McDaniel posted statistics from Trump’s rally in Goodyear, Arizona yesterday, and it turns out that 19.5% of attendees weren’t even Republicans. But most significant is that over a third of the crowd didn’t vote in 2016 – and obviously are inclined to this year.

And in 2019 the data was the following for a handful of rallies:

  • Battle Creek, Michigan: 15% didn’t vote in last four elections, 27% were Democrats.
  • Broward, Florida: 19% voted once or not at all in past four elections, 24% were Democrats.
  • Dallas, Texas: 12% didn’t vote in past four elections, 21.4% were Democrats.

Can you imagine a single Republican showing up to a Biden rally? Maybe, but only if they attended ironically.

Add Florida to list of swing states where early voting data favors a Trump victory

Republicans have closed Democrats' early voting lead in Florida by about 300,000 votes since early, in-person voting began and only trail in the state by 3 points five days before Election Day.

“Anyone Democrat feeling really confident right now should look at Florida’s early voting numbers. Republicans are having another huge day across the state,” NBC’s Joe Scarborough noted Tuesday.

Democrats carried an early voting lead in Florida into Election Day in 2016 as well only to have that margin erased by the GOP, resulting in Trump winning the state.

This year, the Democratic lead going into Election Day might have to be larger than usual. An overwhelming majority of Democrats have indicated they plan to or already have voted by mail or done early voting, while those voting for Trump have indicated they plan to vote on Election Day. As the Democrats lead continues to narrow ahead of Nov. 3, a wave of Republican voters could help push Trump over the top in the state.

“Democrats' early voting across the state is actually falling well short of what they would need to win if they lose Election Day, observed the Hill’s John Pudner. “Again, the advantage goes to Republicans in Florida.”

“Forbes polling indicates that roughly half of all voters plan to vote early, with 62 percent of Democrats planning to vote early while 72 percent of Republicans plan to wait and vote on Election Day,” Pudner wrote. “If that happened and independents split evenly (last time Trump won them), then Democrats would need to win early voting at least 70 percent to 30 percent to be on pace to barely overcome a 31 percent to 69 percent disadvantage in partisan Election Day votes.”

Democrats only have a slim 41%-38% early and mail-in voting lead in Florida as of Thursday.

The early voting results in the battleground state of Florida look similar to the numbers out of Michigan and Wisconsin, which both show Republicans leading the early vote in the states despite polls showing Trump lagging. Republicans have an even larger lead in Ohio, a swing state Trump leads in most polls. Florida’s numbers could be more accurate, as the state makes voter registration data publicly available, unlike Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio.

Trump won all four states in 2016.

One state where Democrats are hitting their expected target is Pennsylvania, which shows Democrats leading 68%-22%. Trump narrowly won Pennsylvania in 2016, and the state is currently rated as the most likely to decide the election.

Michael Moore warns Dems they may get outsmarted again ... "Trump is a Evil Genious".

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is sounding the alarm five days before Election Day, strongly suggesting that polls showing Joe Biden in a comfortable lead against President Trump are not accurate.

During his appearance on The Hill TV's "Rising," Moore began by calling it "awful news" that Biden was ahead of Trump by seven points in his home state of Michigan and explained how Trump managed to cut Biden's lead "in half," citing another poll that had the Democratic nominee "16 points" ahead of the president.

"Trump has tightened virtually every one of these swing states to the point where- what are they saying this morning?... 'Biden's five points ahead in Wisconsin... maybe three points ahead in Florida, two points ahead in Arizona'... Listen, don't believe these polls,'" Moore said. "The Trump vote is always being undercounted. Pollsters- when they actually call the Trump voter, the Trump voter is very suspicious of the 'Deep State' calling them and asking them who they're voting for."

Polls are "fake news" to Trump supporter, he said.

"So it is not an accurate count. I think the safe thing to do, this is not scientific... whatever they're saying the Biden lead is, cut it in half, right now, in your head. Cut it in half, and now you're within the four-point margin of error. That's how close this is! That's how desperately close this is!"

Moore also referred to Trump as an "evil genius" for his ability to win the election.

Back in August, the Oscar-winning documentarian warned Democrats about the enthusiasm gap between the Biden base and the Trump base.

"I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance. The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS! For Joe, not so much," Moore wrote in a Facebook post. "Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump. YOU have to get rid of Trump. WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!"

Moore was one of the rare liberal voices who famously predicted Trump's victory in the 2016 election.

AOC appears in Vanity Fair in outfits worth $14,000 to curse Trump out Calling Him a motherf****r

Democratic (Socialist) congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York wore thousands of dollars worth of outfits and jewelry for her spread in Vanity Fair magazine's December issue while attacking President Trump for not paying his taxes.

The progressive lawmaker from New York -- whose policies often sway far to the left of more centrist Democrats -- has in the past condemned politicians that she says are beholden to Wall Street, even as she was gifted a $2,850 suit from Loewe for the shoot, according to reports by the Daily Mail.

The total estimated retail cost of her outfits is more than $14,000, the site reported

AOC lambasted Trump in the magazine interview saying: “These are the same people saying that we can’t have tuition-free public colleges because there’s no money,” she says, “when these motherf*****s are only paying $750 a year in taxes.”

She also defended herself as a powerful woman against right-wing attacks that have painted her as a socialist and a villain.

Photographs dispersed throughout the magazine with her interview include multiple outfit changes, including a polka dot Wales Bonner dress and a black suit with multicolored tassels by Loewe. She also sported a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels, iconic for their red bottoms.
