In an exclusive statement, famed attorney and Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz defended Sarah Palin’s use of the term “blood libel” from multipledetractors. As the Media Matters/MSM/Democrat narrative on the Tucson tragedy unravels, they are getting a lot more desperate in their attacks on Palin. Fortunately, there are still plenty of honest liberals around:
Nearly six in 10 Americans say the country’s heated political rhetoric is not to blame for the Tucson shooting rampage that left six dead and critically wounded U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, according to a CBS News poll.
The media swoon over what a trailblazer she’s been, how brilliant she is, and what a spectacular job she’s doing as Secretary of State. None of those things are true, particularly that last one.
Left wing Pima County Sheriff Dupnik was quick to blame “right wing rhetoric” and talk radio for the Arizona massacre without a shred of evidence. He made the allegation once again today on Fox News, but Megyn Kelly called him out. He then launched into a full blown lefty screed about Republicans “blocking efforts” by Democrats to “make this a better country.”
After the Ft. Hood shooting, Chris Matthews went out of his way to find reasons other than radical Islam for the shooting. And he haAd a representative of CAIR on his show for the express purpose of keeping people from jumping to conclusions about the Muslims.
Today, in stark contrast, Mr. Matthews assigned motive and direct cause for the Tucson shooting.
Giffords was shot outside one of her signature "Congress at your corner" events outside a Safeway in Tucson, the district she represented, when a gunman approached and shot her in the head, according to NPR.
Iran's state-run Fars News Agency (FNA) is accusing Israel's international intelligence agency of killing the country's nuclear scientists.
The news agency quoted a report posted Wednesday on the IranNuc.ir website that said the Mossad “has a long record in assassinating Arab and Muslim scientists in collaboration with its U.S. and British counterparts (CIA and MI6).”
A team of scientists who study pollution's role in global warming are outraged at a GOP Senator who, they say, has maligned their work as wasteful and petty by describing it as a study of "cow burps. "It's not wasteful," he said. "It's important. This was not funded with earmarks and it was not a study about cow burps," said John Aber, an environmental scientist and provost of the University of New Hampshire. Every time I think that the “Press” can’t sink any lower than the rock bottom they’ve already hit, they somehow manage to burrow themselves further into the earth’s mantle. As is so often the case, this most recent gutter-dwelling example has to do with Sarah Palin, who dared to go on a humanitarian trip to Haiti.
