Why did Viznitzer Chassidim Block the Entrance of the Satmar Rebbe, R' Aron Teitelbaum, at the Leveyeh?

So the question is: "Why did the Viznitzer Chassidim embarrass the Holy Rebbe of Satmar at the Viznitzer Leveyeh?"

Could it be that R' Aron made the Viznitzer's life
miserable
The Satmar Rebbe needed the Goyim to get
 him inside
As Trump says
 "Sad, very sad"

Tillerson was no friend of the Jews

No friend of the Jews, Rex Tillerson…and he’s been fired by President Trump just in time for Pesach.

It’s being said that they differed, even quarreled, mainly over the Iran Nuke Deal… the one where Obama slipped $150 Billion to Iran’s tinhorn pharaohs in order, one way and another, to let them go ahead with a missile program intended to annihilate both Israel and the United States.

Tilllerson, for reasons that somehow made sense to himself and his State Department, wanted it kept pretty much as is. Trump wants it fixed or ditched.
So that difference of opinion is being cited as reason number one for the dismissal. That could be so.
Or perhaps Trump has been smarting over a remark Tillerson made early on…that’s when Tillerson called Trump a “moron.”

After that, it’s doubtful that Trump felt much warmth for the man who had his own view of the world…a view that set them miles apart also about Russia and China and Korea, but mostly about Israel.

That’s the rift, more than all the others, that finished it for Tillerson. Straight to the point, Trump is a friend and Tillerson is an enemy of the Jewish State.

More to the point, there’d have been no Jerusalem Declaration if Tillerson had his say. Trump had to work around him and through the entire State Department to get it done – get it “off the table,” in Trump’s own words, before they all woke up to discover that they’d been out-maneuvered. They never saw it coming.

Trump’s Declaration…officially naming Jerusalem the capital of Israel… was not only the boldest foreign policy move since Nixon opened up China, it was daring enough to be one for the ages, even Biblical. It changed everything in the Middle East. It shook the world. It certainly shook Tillerson and the State Department.

From the start, was Trump aware that Tillerson was just another Arabist – the kind that always seems to inhabit the State Department from the top on down?

There are Jews Still Living in Germany?

Anti-Jewish Hate Crime in Berlin Doubles in Four Years

Germans learned how to burn the Israeli Flag from the "heilega" Satmar Chassidim

A report in Tagesspiegel on Thursday revealed that police figures seen by the Berlin newspaper show that 288 crimes classified as anti-Semitic were recorded by the German capital’s police in 2017. This is slightly less than double the 149 crimes recorded in 2013.
Tagesspiegel reports that no analysis has been released with the figures to acurately explain the rise in anti-Semitic crime, but police and city officials have previously stated that they believe there is a correlation linking it to the increased number of migrants from the Middle East living in the city.

Vayikra: Rambam and Korbanot

Why did Hashem command that we offer korbanot (sacrifices)?
What is the purpose of this form of serving the Creator?

Rambams’ Explanation
Much has been written about the Rambams' controversial analysis of the service in the Bais Hamikdash in his Guide for the Perplexed.

At the core of Rambams’ explanation is his recognition of the difficulty in changing human nature. Deeply entrenched habits and beliefs cannot be uprooted overnight. It would have been futile for the Torah to command the Israelite slaves to abruptly discontinue all forms of worship which they had known in Egypt. Such a revolutionary demand would be like a present-day religious leader demanding that we suspend all external displays of worshipping G-d - no fasts and festivals, no prayers and petitions in times of trouble - just a mental service of G-d through reflection and meditation, without action or speech.

For this reason, the Torah permitted forms of worship that were practiced in those times. However, the Torah required that all worship be directed toward G-d alone. In this way, the nation would be weaned from idolatry, without being stripped of those practices they used to express themselves spiritually.

“It is unreasonable to expect that one who grew up as a slave, laboring in mud and bricks, should one day wash his hands from the dirt and straight off [without any preparation] do battle with the giants. Therefore, G-d did not immediately bring the people into the Land of Israel, and did not lead them [along the direct route], ‘the way of the Land of the Philistines’ (Ex. 13:17). Similarly, it is unnatural for one who is accustomed to many forms of service and practices, so ingrained that they are like unquestionable laws, to abruptly desist from them.” (GuideIII,32)

Ramban Objects
Other medieval scholars rejected Rambam’ approach out of hand. Ramban (on VaYikrah. 1:9) in particular vociferously attacked this position. He refuted Rambams’ explanation with two major arguments:

  • a) The Torah describes korbanot as a “pleasant fragrance to G-d.” This phrase indicates that this form of Divine service has an intrinsic positive value, and is not just a means to wean the people from mistaken beliefs and habits.

  • b) We find that long before the idolatrous Egyptians, Noah offered sacrifices to G-d, and they were accepted: “G-d smelled the appeasing fragrance” (Gen. 8:21). Similarly, we find that G-d accepted Hevel’s offerings of sheep long before idolatrous practices had spread throughout the world.

To Reform a Prince
And yet it appears that we find support for Rambams’ explanation in the Midrash. The Midrash explains the purpose of korbanot by way of a parable.

"This is like an uncouth prince who was given to devouring unslaughtered meat. The king said: ‘Let him always be at my table, and he will be reformed on his own.’ So too, since the Israelites were keenly devoted to idolatry in Egypt... the Holy One said: Let them offer their sacrifices before Me at all times.” (Vayikra Rabbah 22:8)

A careful reading of the Midrash, however, indicates an approach quite different than that of the Rambam. The parable speaks of the prince eating all of his meals at the king’s table. Clearly, dining with the king is in itself a great privilege and honor, besides its secondary benefit as a means to reform the prince’s coarse habits.

The parable is describing a situation where the son, due to his inappropriate behavior, does not deserve to dine with the king. Dining with the king is certainly a great honor, but eating exclusively at the royal table is a special measure designed to refine the prince’s behavior. So too, offering korbanot is a lofty form of worshipping G-d. Through this service, we merit a spiritual elevation, like one who dines with the King Himself, gaining the special favor of the King of the universe.

This parable does not come to explain the concept of korbanot in general, but rather refers to a temporary edict that was in force only while the Israelites sojourned in the desert.

For those 40 years, they were forbidden to slaughter meat for their own personal consumption. They were only allowed to eat from the Shelamim (Peace offerings) brought to the Mishkan (see Devorim 12:20). The Midrash explains that this provisional decree was meant to wean the recently liberated slaves away from idolatrous practices, ensuring that none would continue the idolatrous practices of Egypt in the privacy of his home.

Jeremiah’s Clarification
This may be the true meaning of the verse which the Rambam quoted as a source text:
“For I did not speak with your fathers, nor did I command them when I took them out of Egypt, regarding offerings and sacrifices” (Jeremiah 7:22).

This verse is problematic.
How could Jeremiah claim that the Torah does not command us to offer korbanot

We find many chapters in VaYikrah devoted to the Temple service.

And why does the verse stress, “When I took them out of Egypt”?

The verse cannot be referring to those offerings which are explicitly commanded in the Torah.
Rather, it refers to the special situation that existed “when I took them out of the Land of Egypt,” when meat was permitted only when brought as a Shelamim offering in the Tabernacle.

One might think that this is the ideal, and we should emulate the actions of that exceptional generation.

Jeremiah therefore explained that this abundance of offerings was not an end unto itself, but only a temporary decree of that generation, in order to wean them from the idolatrous practices they had adopted in Egypt.

Vishnitzer Rebbe of Monsey Passes Away...was 95

T
The Rebbe was Niftar on Friday morning, with his children at his bedside at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.

He had been in and out of the hospital for the past few months. many times his condition turned critical but miraculously, he was stabilized. This past week his condition continued to deteriorate with his blood pressure dropping. His children were called to his bedside, and on Friday morning he was Niftar as Viduy and Shema were recited during Yetziyas Neshama.

The Rebbe was the elder of the Admorim today.
The Rebbe was known for his devotion to learning Torah: Learning around 18 hours a day and asking his Chasidim to study at least two hours every day.
He has thousands of Chassidim around the globe.
The Rebbe, Hagaon HaRav Mordechai Hager ZATZAL, was born in 1922.
Following the Petira of his father, the previous Vishnitzer Rebbe the “Imrei Chaim” [HaRav Chaim Meir Hager of Bnei Barak ], he became the Vishnitzer Rebbe of Monsey.
He has 14 children, 8 sons and 6 daughters.
His sons serve as Rabbonim in Vishnitzer Batei Midrashim around the world. His oldest son, HaRav Pinches Shulem ZATZAL, served the Kehilla in Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York; Rav Yisroel is the Rov in Monsey, New York; Rav Mendel is the Rov in Kiamesha Lake, New York; Rav Yitzchok Yochonon is the Rov in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The other sons serve internationally: Rav Eliezer in Yerushalayim, Rav Aron in Montreal, Canada; Rav Duvid in London, UK; and his youngest son, Rav Buroch Shamshon, in Beit Shemesh.
He has hundreds of grandchildren, and thousands of great grandchildren.
The Levaya will be at 12:30PM on Friday afternoon in Monsey.

'Jerusalem is not holy to Muslims, enough with this lie!'

Zionist Organization of America President Morton Klein spoke on Thursday night at the National Council of Young Israel's annual dinner, debunking the myth that Jerusalem is holy to Muslims.

"Jerusalem was the capital of Israel, under King David, 3,000 years ago," Klein said. "It was never, ever, the capital of any other nation except Israel. When the Arabs conquered Palestine in 716, they made Ramla their capital, not Jerusalem."

"The Jewish holy books mention Jerusalem 700 times. it is never, ever mentioned in the Quran. Even about Mohammed allegedly going from Jerusalem to heaven, in the Quran...this is described as a dream. He simply has a dream, and it says he went 'from the farthest place to heaven.' ... And the nearest place, in the Quran, is Palestine. So clearly, it was not from Jerusalem."

Klein also noted that the Arabs, historically, have not cared enough to invest in Jerusalem.

"When the Arabs controlled Jerusalem from 1948-1967, when Jordan controlled it, they built everything of importance in Amman, not in Jerusalem," he said. "They allowed it to be a slum. There was no water, no electricity, no plumbing there. They destroyed the 58 synagogues in eastern Jerusalem."

Calling on his listeners to help debunk the lies, Klein said, "We must now tell everyone: It is not holy to Muslims, enough with this lie! Enough with the lie of occupation, there is no occupation, this is Jewish land, enough of the lie that settlements are the reason we have no peace. Settlements comprise 2% of all Judea and Samaria, there hasn't been a single new settlement built since 1993."

Slamming both the media and world leaders, he added, "All we get from the media, and even from leaders around the world, are lies, lies, and lies about Israel."

"Unlike politicians, G-d keeps His promises. And with the help of Almighty G-d and with the help of the Israel Defense Forces, the Jewish people in Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) will prevail and will survive forever," he concluded.

Charedi Anti-Army/Draft Riots

by Batya Medad
I have absolutely no tolerance nor understanding for any anti-draft/IDF actions/riots etc here in Israel or any place else. The State of Israel is under constant threat and periodic attacks. From the Jewish point of view, that makes serving in the IDF a great mitzvah, Torah commandment, because it saves lives.

Prior to the Israeli Declaration of Independence, while we found ourselves defending ourselves against the Arabs and British, the "underground" forces, Haganah, Palmach, Etzel and Lechi had a complete cross-section of volunteers of all types of Jews in the Land of Israel. That included secular, traditional, religious and Chareidi.

In the early days of the State of Israel, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion made an agreement with the Chareidim that they could get a deferment for full-time yeshiva students and religious women. The yeshiva students were expected to support the state by their prayers and learning. Of course, many of us believe that Ben-Gurion was "generous" in granting a deferment, because he wanted to isolate the then small number of Chareidim from the rest of the population. He didn't want religious interference or influence in the IDF.

While there has been great improvement and changes in the IDF for strictly religious soldiers, certain  Chareidi factions have become dangerously and violently more intolerant of the army and soldiers. Jerusalem has been plagued by frequent violent anti-draft riots. Last week, I found myself waiting for buses that couldn't come to the stop, because they had been rerouted. There was no notification. Public transportation and many main thoroughfares were closed or rerouted when possible.

Ordinary citizens, young and old, religious and secular have suffered physically due to travel difficulties. This is all because young, fit Chareidi men are wasting their energy rioting, rather than serving the Jewish People, rather than doing mitzvot, Torah Commandments.

They claim that their time in the Batei Midrash, Study halls are too precious to waste in the IDF, but they have lots of time to riot, attack the police and endanger the health and welfare of innocent Jews. There is absolutely nothing to support their behavior in the Torah.

Trump gets rid of Tillerson!

Trump ousts Tillerson, will replace him as secretary of state with CIA chief Pompeo
President Trump has ousted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and replaced him with CIA Director Mike Pompeo, orchestrating a major change to his national security team amid delicate negotiations with North Korea, White House officials said Tuesday.
Trump last Friday asked Tillerson to step aside, and the embattled top diplomat cut short his trip to Africa on Monday to return to Washington.
Pompeo will replace him at the State Department, and Gina Hapsel — the deputy director at the CIA — will succeed him at the CIA, becoming the first woman to run the spy agency, if confirmed.

Yeshivah Boys With Nothing to do SHUT DOWN BNEI BRAK to Protest arrest of Drunk Driver!

Yeshiva Bochrim decide not to bother learning Torah, but instead decide to shut down Bnei Brak in protest for  the arrest of a drunk driver.

The drunk driver after being arrested was found out to have not registered for the draft as required by law, and was handed over to the IDF where he is being held.

Dozens of "Torah Hookey Players" blocked Jabotinsky Street at the corner of Hashomer, while hundreds of "Torah Terrorists"  blocked the Geha interchange on Route 4 to the south on the other side of the city.

Notice the stadistical tendencies of these low lifes who are singing while innocent men, women and children are stuck on buses and cars....
How sick and demented can one be?

It's interesting to note that the "Torah Terrorists" get notified of the location of the protests via "Whatsapp" which is an app available only on smartphones.  The smartphones are banned by the same hypocritical Roshei Yeshivah that encourage these protests! Go figure.

Police are operating at all points of the demonstration, including through the use of armored vehicles, in an attempt to open the roads to traffic.

Police said that "they will act with zero tolerance towards any attempt to disrupt public order and endanger passersby and drivers traveling along traffic arteries."

R' Yitzchok Dovid Grossman Withdraws His Support For a Sexual Abusar

A prominent Israeli rabbi on Monday withdrew his support for an ultra-Orthodox woman accused of 74 charges of sex abuse, including rape, while she taught at a Jewish school in Australia, just a week after he had recommended to the court that she be place under house arrest under his supervision.

“I am very sensitive to the pain and plight of children and adults who are abused,” said Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman in a statement explaining his decision to “completely withdraw” his involvement in the case.

“It is regretful that the current turmoil has in any way called into question that mission and dedication,” he wrote.
Last month, the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s court ruled that it would delay consideration of whether to extradite the suspect to Australia until a psychiatrist could review her case. Her name is gagged in Israel by court order because she has not been accused of committing a crime in the country.

During a hearing last week, Grossman served as a character witness for the defendant in the Jerusalem District Court, saying that “for her to be in custody is a humiliation.”
He offered to host her under house arrest at his home, adding that if she left the house “for even a second, we will take her straight to the police immediately,” according to the Brisbane Times.

Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk Upset That Jews Give Money to Polish Murderers Burns down His Tent On His Own Yurzeit

The holy Tzaddik R' Elimelech of Lizhensk could not believe that thousands of Jews would willingly give Jewish money to the Polish anti-Semites, so he decided to perform an open miracle and burned down the tent outside his grave in attempt to teach those naive Jews a lesson.

R' Elimelech z"l would rather they learn his sefer on his yurzeit instead of spending hard earned money, only to hand it over to the murderers of R' Elimelech's family.

The miraculous fire apparently broke out in a tent next to the Tziyon, where hundreds of candles were burning. The fire soon spread into the Tziyon, where thousands of “kvitlach” had been placed by Mispallelim at the Kever. There had been candles burning by the Kvitlach which also caught fire, causing the entire Tziyon to turn into flames and smoke.

Peleg Closes Its Doors of Torah to take to the Streets To Block Traffic Again ....

Notice the Idiot wearing a Yellow Star

The Peleg Yerushalmi branch of chareidi litvish Jewry on Thursday resumed protests, for a first time since the petira of R' Shmuel Auerbach .
It ordered all their bochrim to close the pages of the Gemmara and go out and make a Chillul Hashem.
Torah will take second place to causing people to be stuck in traffic for hours and to prevent people from coming home to their families or sick people from getting to hospitals.
Bitul Torah is no longer an Aveirah.
It is reported the protests have been ordered following the arrest of  Meir Brodiansky, who happens to be a grandson of Rav Yitzchak Yerucham Brodiansky, mashgiach of Yeshivas Kol Torah which Meir attends.
It has been reported that Meir Brodiansky, who refused to register for the draft as required by law, was arrested while driving drunk.
He wasn't arrested at home and wasn't arrested while learning in Bais Medrish.
Whatsapp messages have gone out to all the hundreds of bochrim who possess  smartphones and the word is that the protesters will be blocking areas of Yerushalayim, near the Cord’s Bridge and the Jerusalem light rail.

One stupid boy, with an expensive Borcelona hat with fancy eye glasses, the dress code for the "bittul torah" guys, has the sheer chutzpeh to wear a yellow star. I'll bet his grandparents were slobbering over a bar-b-q and drinking beer while our grandparents were being slaughtered by those who ordered Jews to wear the Yellow Star!
It is also being reported that HaGaon Rav Azriel Auerbach expressed surprise and disapproval when hearing about the planned protests and disruption of traffic, as he feels this is not good for the bochrim and “not our way, to have them confront police”.

Gerer Rebbe nixes Poland trips to Elimelech of Lizhensk over Holocaust Law

For the life of me, I cannot understand why Frum Jews would travel to Poland, a country responsible for the murder of millions of Jews.
A country soaked with Jewish blood, yet, Frum Jews have no issue with willingly pouring hard earned Jewish money  to blood thirsty anti-Semitic barbarians!

Time to take R' Elimelech's body out of that cursed earth and bring it to the Holy Land!

The leader of one of the world's largest Chassidic movements has ordered his followers to avoid traveling to Poland due to what is popularly referred to as the "Holocaust Law", a newly passed piece of legislation in Poland which allows a sentence of up to three years in prison for anyone ascribing "responsibility or co-responsibility to the Polish nation or state for crimes committed by the German Third Reich".

According to a report by Kikar Hashabbat, Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh Alter, the Gur Grand Rebbe, was approached by a group of his followers seeking approval to travel to the grave of Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk, an influential 17th-century rabbi who is buried near Warsaw.

While the rabbi gave his approval to visit the graves of prominent rabbis in Europe, he ordered that Poland be dropped from the itinerary due to the Holocaust Law. He also banned his followers from traveling to Poland for any reason other than business.

The Holocaust Law was first passed last month and outlaws claims of collusion by the Polish nation with the Holocaust. The legislation caused outrage in Israel and has been criticized by the U.S. State Department, the French Foreign Ministry, and certain Jewish organizations.

Stung by the heavy criticism, the Polish government sent a delegation to Israel last week in an attempt to resolve the dispute but the two sides unable to find common ground.

Brother Of Late Rabbi Auerbach Says He Is Against All Anti-Draft Demonstrations

Rabbi Azriel Auerbach, one of the newly minted members of the Jerusalem Faction’s Council of Sages of the Torah World and brother of its late leader Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach, has said that he is against anti-enlistment demonstrations.
The Jerusalem Faction announced on Wednesday night that it will be staging its first demonstration since Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach’s passing last month, following the arrest of a yeshiva student associated with the group for failing to cooperate with the IDF to obtain his military service exemption.
But in a recording obtained by the Haredi Line news service, Rabbi Azriel Auerbach said he has always been against the frequent demonstrations staged by the Jerusalem Faction and that he does not believe yeshiva students should fight with the police.
The recording is particularly embarrassing for the Jerusalem Faction since Rabbi Azriel Auerbach is Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach’s brother but was recently named as one of the four leading rabbis of the group’s new Council of Sages of the Torah World, the rabbinic body that has supposedly taken up the mantle of leadership from Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach.

“I, from the beginning, was against all these demonstrations,” said Rabbi Azriel Auerbach genially.
“I don’t think that its good for the yeshiva students, for sure I was not of the same opinion as Reb Shmuel for whom the fire burned inside of him,” he continued with a chuckle.
“From the beginning of the journey I was not in favor, I told them that I do agree to do [demonstrations] in front of the prisons and study, [The protesters have a good point], but in the streets?” the rabbi questioned.
“The clashes begin, we don’t need yeshiva students fighting with the police,” he concluded in a disapproving tone of voice.
Rabbi Azriel Auerbach was known to be more moderate than his brother even before this recording came out. The recording is not only a source of acute embarrassment for the Jerusalem Faction, but also indication that the movement is less unified than it appeared when Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach was still alive.

NIKI HALEY EMBARRASSES SATMAR IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE WORLD!

Can someone please explain, how a non-Jew can talk about Israel and Yerushalayim with such love and emotion, while R' Aron TeitelBUM and his brother R' Zalman Leib TeitelBUM publicly barked that President Trump's declaration of Yerushalyim as Israel's Capital, means absolutely nothing to them?

How do they not see the Yad Hashem here?
Why are they so blinded with hatred towards their fellow brothers and sisters residing in Eretz Yisroel, that they cannot see the open miracle of the ways of our Creator that had the leader of the free world declare with conviction his love of Israel??

Satmar wants to hand over Israel to the Palestinians.....
Well, why don't we start with the Satmar Bais Hamedrish in Meah Shearim? Why don't they set an example and hand the building over to Abbas???

R' Yitzchak Dovid Grossman vouches for Malka Leifer accused of 74 Charges of Sex Abuse

Malka Leifer wanted in Australia on 74 charges of sex abuse, including rape, while teaching in a Jewish school may be sent to house arrest after an Israeli court on Wednesday ruled that she could stay with a prominent rabbi who vouched for her.

Last week, a court said that it would delay consideration of whether to extradite her until a psychiatrist can review her case.

Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, well-known among mainstream Israelis for his philanthropic work, served as a character witness for the defendant in the Jerusalem District Court, saying that “for her to be in custody is a humiliation.” He offered to host her in house arrest at his home, adding that if she left the house “for even a second, we will take her straight to the police immediately,” according to the Brisbane Times.
The judge agreed to release her to Grossman’s custody in the town of Migdal Haemek, prompting harsh criticism from an activist who wants to see her extradited to Australia and held to account.
However the state prosecutor quickly appealed the ruling. The suspect will remain under psychiatric care pending a decision on the appeal, scheduled for Friday. Her bail was set at NIS 100,000.
Dassi Erlich, who has accused the woman of abusing her when she was a pupil, issued an angry statement after the court decision was announced.
The woman “has been released on bail based on some random rabbi’s testimony that he will supervise her,” Erlich charged on Facebook. “If Rabbi Grossman can have a voice, someone who is not a part of this case at all, where is our voice?!”
Grossman received the Israel Prize in 2004 and the Presidential Medal of Distinction in 2013 for having rehabilitated tens of thousands of disadvantaged children through his educational work, which began in 1972. He was twice offered the position of chief rabbi of Israel, but declined in order to focus on his position as head of the Migdal Haemek yeshiva.
Australia wants the woman extradited for allegedly sexually abusing children while she was a teacher at a local school, Adass Israel.
Israeli police have said she is feigning mental illness to avoid extradition.
Her lawyer, Yehuda Fried, said last week that the court ruled she should be dealt with “in the realm of mental illness.” Fried said that likely meant a years-long process before her extradition can be reconsidered.
But Israel’s Court Administration later said that the court will convene again on March 28 after a psychiatric evaluation has been carried out, indicating an extradition decision could be taken sooner.
She was arrested following an undercover investigation at Interpol’s request and is suspected of obstructing Israeli court proceedings by attempting to hide evidence.

A court previously stopped extradition proceedings after determining she was not fit to stand trial.
