T.J.Maxx, Marshals and Nordstrom Ban Clothing from Jewish Ivanka

Employees at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores have reportedly been told not to feature Ivanka Trump's merchandise and to discard signs advertising those products.
The New York Times reported that TJX Companies, the retailers’ parent company, sent a following note to employees on Wednesday:
"Effective immediately, please remove all Ivanka Trump merchandise from features. All Ivanka Trump signs should be discarded."
A spokeswoman for the TJX Companies confirmed the note, but pointed out that it did not instruct employees to remove Ivanka Trump merchandise from sales floors.
Several companies have recently changed their relationships with Trump brands, as many of President Donald Trump's critics call for shoppers to boycott products related to the president and his family.
On Thursday, Nordstrom said that it would no longer carry Ivanka Trump's line of clothing and shoes. Neiman Marcus said shoppers will no longer be able to find the first daughter’s line of jewelry on its website.
After Nordstrom dropped her products, President Trump fired back at the clothing giant on Twitter:
My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by@Nordstrom. She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!
Nordstrom says it dropped her merchandise because of poor sales, but the White House isn't buying that explanation.
At a press briefing today, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said it was an "attack" on the first daughter over President Trump's policies.
"He ran for president, he won, he's leading this country," Spicer said. "I think for people to take out their concern for his actions or executive orders on members of his family, he has every right to stand up for his family."

Fake Silly "Rabbis" Arrested for Protesting in Front of Trump Building

The Rosh Yeshivah

Nineteen fake rabbis were cuffed Monday night outside a Trump hotel near Columbus Circle while protesting the President’s ban on travelers from seven Muslim-majority nations, that export terrorism, police and activists said.
The fake clergy members — seven men and 12 women — are members of T’ruah Rabbis, a liberal Jewish group that opposes President Trump’s executive order and hate Israel!
“Tradition teaches us to be kind to the plight of refugees,” T’ruah co-chair Rabbi Rachel Gartner said after marching with group.
She referenced the ill-fated St. Louis voyage full of Jewish refugees that was turned away from the U.S. in 1939.
“We cannot tolerate the executive order that comes from the administration. It’s very painful for us. It’s personal. We remember the St. Louis,” Gartner told the Daily News. “It’s eerily reminiscent and it strikes us to our core.”
Gartner failed to mention that the Jews on the St. Louis were fleeing Nazi Germany...and were requesting legal immigration. She also failed to mention that the citizens of those 7 nations advocate hate against all infidels.
Gartner joined about 200 crazed protesters, including the fake rabbis, who hiked about 30 blocks (nebech) to the Trump International Hotel and Tower at W. 59th St. and Central Park West.
In an act of civil disobedience, nearly two dozen members of the group sat in the street, linked arms and sang Hebrew protest (?) songs while blocking traffic.
After a warning, cops moved in for arrests.
The fake rabbis were handcuffed with their prayer shawls still draped over their shoulders.
It should be noted that these fake "rabbis" only wear their prayer shawls for protests, otherwise the shawls collect dust in their drawers.
Your people were legal refugees.

Kiddush Hashem !! IDF's First Haredi Paratrooper Company Sworn In

For the first time in history of the IDF a haredi paratrooper company swearing-in ceremony took place last Thursday at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. After Kfir and Givati brigades, Paratroopers will also incorporate a haredi company.
Only one month ago the new haredi paratrooper recruits arrived to induction center (Bakum). Paratroopers commander Col. Nimrod Aloni have said: “I am proud to welcome first haredi company becoming part of our brigade. I don’t have a slightest doubt that a new company will be professional, strong in both physically and spiritually. From now on you will become paratroopers. I wish you great success, you are true pioneers”.
In the shadow of the attacks of extremists against the haredi soldiers, ZAKA Chairman Yehuda Meshi Zahav have published a picture of his recently enlisted son in paratroopers uniforms and wrote: “My soldier son, I’m proud of you”.
Rabbis of the Nahal Haredi Foundation, who will provide a spiritual support to new paratroopers by conducting Gemara lessons and providing personal backing for each soldier, have stated: “Today we have witnessed a historical moment. New haredi company in the IDF will continue the process of integration, started by Netzah Yehuda (Nahal Haredi) Battalion. The one can be a professional soldier and in the same time a practicing haredi Jew”.

White House: 'Settlements' may not help promote peace

The White House suggested on Thursday night that Israeli construction plans in Judea and Samaria “may not be helpful” to promote a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA).
At the same time, the White House clarified that President Donald Trump’s administration has not yet taken an official position on Israeli “settlement activity”.

“The American desire for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians has remained unchanged for 50 years. While we don’t believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal,” said White House press secretary Sean Spicer in a statement.

“As the President has expressed many times, he hopes to achieve peace throughout the Middle East region. The Trump administration has not taken an official position on settlement activity and looks forward to continuing discussions, including with Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visits with President Trump later this month,” added Spicer.

The statement from the White House followed a report in the Jerusalem Post, which quoted an unnamed American official who said that Trump has warned Israel to stop its unilateral announcements of new construction in Judea and Samaria as they “undermine” his efforts to reach a peace agreement.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman announced earlier this week the construction of 3,000 new homes in Judea and Samaria.

That announcement came after the approval of 2,500 units last week.
While the construction has been criticized by the UNthe EU and France, the Trump administration has thus far been silent on the issue, angering senior PA officials.
Just a week ago, Spicer declined to express a position on Israeli construction when asked about it in his daily press briefing.
"Israel continues to be a huge ally of the United States," Spicer said at the time, adding, "He wants to grow closer to Israel to make sure it gets the full respect in the Middle East. We'll have a conversation with the prime minister."
PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat later said he was "shocked" by the White House's silence on Israel’s construction announcement, and called on Trump's administration to clarify its policy.

Gedoilim of Bnei-Brak now against Kiruv Work in their town

A thoughtful person would say ..... "wow ...what a great opportunity to do Kiruv in Bnei-Brak" but it seems that the big Gedoilim will have nothing to do with it ..... they are worried that all frumkeit will go out the window in Bnei Brak with the new Senior Citizen facility across the street from Rabbi Akiva Street.
Are they so insecure about their followers' frumkeit that they are opposed to a facility catering to Alteh Kockers?

Rabbonim have taken an active role in the battle to prevent the opening of a non-religious senior citizens’ facility on Jabotinsky Street opposite Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak for fear of the Chilul Shabbos that would be associated with such a facility.

Among the rabbonim who have signed against the new facility are members of the Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael Shlita, Rabbi Ba’adani, Rabbi Yitzchak Zilberstein, Rabbi Chaim Meir Halevy Wosner, Rabbi Silman, Rabbi Luria, and Rabbi Baruch Weisbecker. The rabbonim explain a large non-religious facility of this size will bring many visitors on Shabbos and Yomim Tovim and result in major Chilul Shabbos.
Askanim in the city blame the city’s local planning board for bringing this project forward. Planning board officials explain that the project was approved by the mayor long before they were brought into the picture. They explain the mayor is working to have the facility become a medical facility treating the geriatric population.

City officials explain they do not have the authority to halt a project that was approved years earlier, but they are working to minimize the problematic issues that would accompany a non-religious senior care facility.

'Not a coincidence' that Trump controversies come while Kushner observing Shabbat,

It is “not a coincidence” that some of President Trump’s most controversial moments came when two of his closest advisers were observing the Shabbat, according to a report.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner are seen as a moderating force on the commander-in-chief’s policies, though Vanity Fairreports that he has been out of the loop in critical phases.
The magazine wrote that Kushner and Ivanka, who are Orthodox Jews, do not work or use technology from sundown on Fridays to sundown on Saturdays, which is when Trump complained about reports of his inauguration crowd size.
“He wasn’t rolling calls on Saturday when this happened,” an unidentified source said. “To me, that’s not a coincidence.”
Beyond that Saturday, chaos surrounding Trump’s travel ban, believed to have been pushed by nationalist-leaning adviser Steve Bannon, also occurred during Shabbat.
Bannon's influence is seen as growing in the administration's first weeks, and the former Breitbart editor has been given a seat on the National Security Council.
This Saturday also saw the White House release a statement on the Holocaust that did not specifically mention Jews, which gained national attention despite officials' claims that it was being blown out of proportion.
Going back to July 2015, one of Trump’s first controversial campaign statements, saying that Sen. John McCain was “not a war hero” because he was captured.
The Sundays after each of those Saturdays saw Trump’s team more under control.
Trump followed the McCain statements by pointing out that he did call the senator a war hero in the same interview, and White House officials tried to clarify the executive orders this past Sunday.

Ezra "the kapo" Friedlander will honor a Muslim..... couldn't find any Jews to honor!

Ezra with Lady Gaga
So the "kapo" that tried convincing Holocaust Survivors that the Iran deal was a good thing and wrote an Op-Ed in The Yeshiva World, defending the "Jew back Stabber" Jerrold Nadler's disgusting vote to hand nuclear weapons to the Mullas in Iran .... was searching for a Jew to honor, but after searching in all the shteeblich in Boro-Park, he couldn't find one Jew to honor, so he found a Muslim to honor .....
I understand that Sadat gave his life for peace ...... but what about Begin? Why isn't he getting credit for the peace deal?  Didn't he have to give back parts of Eretz Yisroel?
What is it with these naive pandering Jews that search under every rock to pander to our enemies?
How many Muslims will now love Jews more because of this stupid medal?
Or is the "kapo" Friedlander alll in it for the money only, like his uncle, the "groiser tzaddik?"
What this lowlife will do for a couple of dollars .......it runs in his blood ....that miserable traitor .....

A bipartisan bill to award the Congressional Gold Medal to late Egyptian president Anwar Sadat will be introduced to Congress on Tuesday by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), Representative Chris Stewart (R-UT) and Representative Grace Meng (D-NY).
The bill, titled the Anwar Sadat Centennial Celebration Act, proposes to award the medal to Sadat “in recognition of his heroic achievements and courageous contributions to peace in the Middle East.” Next year will mark the 100th anniversary of Sadat’s birth.
“President Sadat is recognized in the United States and throughout the world as a respected leader and champion of peace whose vision provided a road map for the peaceful resolution of conflict that endures nearly 40 years after its inception,” the bill reads.
“President Sadat bravely reached out to Israel and dedicated himself to peace, furthering the national security of Egypt and the stability of the Middle East.”
The bill’s introduction to Congress was coordinated by Ezra Friedlander, an Orthodox Jew and CEO of the public affairs consulting firm the Friedlander Group.
Friedlander told the Post that he recalls watching the arrival of the late Sadat in Israel in the late 1970s, as a child.
“It was a Saturday night. We didn’t have a television, but I remember as a kid going to a neighbor’s house to watch the news,” he said.
“I was 10. It was as shocking then as it is now, just to think of it. That image always remained with me; it became a part of me.
“Growing up and going through life you realize that it’s very easy to be friends with your friends, but Anwar Sadat, in my opinion, was one of the greatest statesmen of the 20th century because he, essentially, in a very dramatic way, changed his way of thinking and it took tremendous courage,” Friedlander continued.
“So for me, having the opportunity to play a role in an important historical milestone was very important.”
Friedlander added that honoring Sadat was not just a way to remember history but could also serve as “a teaching moment… I firmly believe that presenting Anwar Sadat with a Congressional Gold Medal will once again allow for the world to recognize his heroism and bravery, but also encourage other world leaders to learn from that style, from his leadership,” he said.
Friedlander said he hopes that if the bill passes, world leaders, particularly in the Middle East, would see the bill and the medal as carrying the message that “compromise and peace pays dividends long after you agree to make it.”
As a Jew, Friedlander added, honoring a Muslim leader was important.
“The Jewish people yearn for peace. We are willing and should be willing to travel to the end of the world for peace,” he said.
“We need to actively commend and pay tribute to those leaders that historically were at odds with the Jewish people and the State of Israel and to embrace them.”
Friedlander was also behind the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to late president Shimon Peres in 2014, and a posthumous one that same year to Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, celebrated for saving tens of thousands of Jews in Nazi-occupied Hungary.
“Sadat took countless personal risks to achieve a society grounded in peace and diplomacy – an endeavor that ultimately cost him his life,” Hatch said in a press release.
“Thus, awarding Sadat with the Congressional Gold Medal celebrates and gives homage to Sadat’s courageous, remarkable and enduring imprint on history.”
A ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Cardin said in a press release that Sadat was the first Arab leader to recognize Israel and “displayed courage and vision when he negotiated the peace treaty, fundamentally changing the course of history in the Middle East for the better.”
Awarding him the medal, Cardin added, not only honors this legacy, but also underscores the enduring commitment of the US to upholding the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.
Meng said in a press release that she was proud to co-sponsor the bill and urged the House and Senate to pass it.
Friedlander said he was not expecting any opposition to the bill, and hoped Egyptian government representatives would make the trip to the US to collect the medal, which will also be presented to Sadat’s widow, Jehan Sadat.

Meet your relatives: 540 million-year-old bag-like sea creature without an anus may be humans' oldest known ancestor
Researchers have discovered traces of the earliest known prehistoric ancestor of human beings.
In a finding which calls into question decades of research into human evolution, the creature called 'Saccaorhytus' has been revealed.
A microscopic sea creature that lived 540 million years ago, it has sack-like features created by its elliptical body and large mouth.
Bizarrely the species, which is new to science and was identified from microfossils found in China, showed no evidence of having an anus.

This means any waste material inside its body would have come back through the mouth.
It is also believed the thin-skinned creature - discovered after a study of fossils found in China - moved along the ocean bed by 'wriggling'.

The scientists who carried out the research, including some from the University of Cambridge, believe this creature is now the most primitive example of a so-called 'deuterostome'.

This is a broad biological category that encompasses a number of sub-groups, including the vertebrates.
If the conclusions of the study, published in the journal Nature, are correct, then Saccorhytus was the common ancestor of a huge range of species.

This would mean it was the earliest step yet discovered on the evolutionary path that eventually led to humans, hundreds of millions of years later.

'We think that as an early deuterostome this may represent the primitive beginnings of a very diverse range of species, including ourselves,' said Simon Conway Morris, Professor of Evolutionary Palaeobiology at the University of Cambridge.

Teaneck Jews "tucheslek" Muslims with a protest against Trump

Stupid naive Jews of Teaneck are pandering to the Muslims that President Trump wants to keep out of our communities!

All terrorists are Muslims but "Rabbi" Nati Helfgot, of Congregation Netivot Shalom of Teaneck, ignored the facts and spoke at this bizarre rally!

Hey ... where was Helfgot's rally  when 4 IDF soldiers were brutally murdered a couple of weeks ago? Were there Muslims protesting the murders?
What's with these sick crazy Jews????
The "fool" Nati Helfgot

Frum Guy Massacres his Family and Neighbors Child in Migdal

Dor Karsenty and her two children murdered

Ravit and Eitan, parents of the late Dor Karsenty, mourn the horrific murder of their daughter Dor and their two grandchildren, Binyamin and Yosef Nachman, and the son of their neighbors, Nachman Atiya.

"It is indescribable, they took my daughter and two grandchildren. Killed them, massacred them. You all know the pictures from the scene. They really slaughtered them. I had a beautiful girl, a devoted mother like no other - she took care of the kids and let no one touch them. She would not allow anyone to take care of them - not a daycare center or anything - because she was the best treatment.

"She took care of two babies alone, from morning to night she was alone with them and she gave him quiet to be able to Torah study alone."

The mother added that the suspect "planned the murder, I'm sure a million percent - he went and said his good-byes to people; only Friday evening he sat at my table and apologized to my son-in-law Daniel. He said to him, 'Forgive me if I hurt you, I'm sorry if I slandered you...He also took leave from others in the community like this.

"My daughter lives next to Eitan (Dor's father), the very next apartment. He was just waiting for Eitan to come out and he carried out the massacre; a slaughter that Eitan and I saw with our own eyes - my grandchildren stabbed, our daughter lying on the floor.

"I ask the entire Jewish People to come to the funeral and see what treasures were taken from us. They should see a mother and father leading their daughter and grandchildren to burial," said Dor's mother. At 15:00 the funeral of Nachman Atiya, the family's 11-year-old neighbor, begins. At 18:30 Dor Karsenty, 2 1/2-year-old Yosef, and one-year-old Binyamin will be laid to rest.
Ten Year Old Natan who escaped

Natan, Atiya's 10-year-old son and the little brother of Nachman, managed to escape from the murder scene and told rescue teams that he pretended to be dead to escape from the murderer and slip out the window. Nathan went a few hundred meters until neighbors spotted him and alerted rescue services. The father was arrested in an orchard near the house.
The Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended the suspect's arrest until next Wednesday. In addition, the suspect was sent for psychiatric examination.

Eida Ha'Chareidis ban driving and riding in Cars

"Gedoilim" of the Eida Ha'Charedis in Yerushalyim are being mocked for their new fatwa against cars!
Yup ... you heard this right.... you can no longer drive or ride in a car.....
These antiquated relics have gone off the deep end .... claiming that if you ride in a car you have opportunities to go to houses of ill repute...
Hey "gedoilim" you don't need a car to go molest a prostitute, you can can just walk over to the shul's mikvah ....

And they write that this "car ban" is included in the "smartphone ban"
They add that by driving a car you're putting your life in danger because you may be involved in a car accident.
I guess the Rebbis like Satmar with their motorcades , and the Skverer Rebbe with his gleaming black Cadillac  will be violating the ban .... I guess ...
Crazy and getting crazier......

Madeleine "Halflbright" Says She’s ‘Ready To Register As Muslim’

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, the "alteh katchkeh," said Wednesday she is prepared to “register as Muslim” in solidarity amid reports that President Trump plans to take executive action affecting immigrants to the U.S., THE HILL report.

Madeleine Halfbright is a Jew, whose family escaped the Holocaust!

Albright’s tweets came amid reports this week that Trump was expected to sign executive orders including a temporary ban on most refugees and suspending visas for foreign nationals from seven countries.

ABC AIRS PROMO FOR SHOW ABOUT PRESIDENT BEING SHOT DURING TRUMP INTERVIEW

ABC aired a promo for a show about a fictional president being shot during their much hyped interview with Donald Trump last night.

The clip is a promo for episode 11 of the ABC show Designated Survivor, in which Kiefer Sutherland plays an obscure cabinet secretary who is “unexpectedly thrust into the presidency after an attack at the capitol during a State of the Union address.”
The scene shows the fictional president attending the swearing in of a Congressman before a gunshot is heard and panic ensues.
“Who took the bullet?” asks the promo before the scene cuts to a hospital as surgeons operate on the victim.
Viewers did not find out in the previous cliffhanger episode if the president in the show was shot or if someone else “took the bullet,” although the implication that the president could have been the victim is clear.
One viewer complained to Infowars that he thought the airing of the ad during the interview with Trump was “distasteful”.
The idea of Trump being assassinated has repeatedly been invoked by commentators, journalists and television networks.
Back in February last year, New York Times columnist Ross Douthat caused outrage after he joked about how an assassination attempt could end Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Douthat tweeted a clip from a movie in which a political figure is gunned down by an assassin.
The day before his inauguration, CNN aired a piece asking what would happen if Trump was killed in an attack, along the same lines as the plot inDesignated Survivor.
A German newspaper publisher and editor Josef Joffe appeared on a panel show during which he “joked” that someone in the White House could “murder” Trump to end his presidency.

Aaron David Miller and David Makovsky, Jews that Worked in State Department stab Israel in the Face!

Jewish Kapos arresting a fellow Jew in the Ghetto
Someday, perhaps, a team of sociologists and psychologists will examine the curious question of why Jewish ex-State Department officials are obsessed with Israel. Until that day comes, though, the rest of us will be stuck having to listen to those officials’ relentless harassment of Israel and promotion of the Palestinian cause.
As the US debates whether to move the American embassy  in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the New York Times trotted out two former State Department officials, both Jewish, to pour cold water on the idea.
The officials, Aaron David Miller and David Makovsky, now enjoy well-heeled positions at the Woodrow Wilson International Center and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, respectively. They are benefiting handsomely from the revolving door that shuttles State Department alumni to nearby think tanks, where they can spend their days explaining how they know what’s best for Israel.
In an endless stream of media interviews, op-eds and insufferable policy papers, Miller, Makovsky and many others never stop reminding us that they know more about Middle East peace than do Israel’s democratically elected leaders and battle-tested generals.
The irony is that pretty much any taxi driver in Tel Aviv understands the Israeli-Palestinian situation far better than the self-crowned experts at Foggy Bottom, present or past. The only thing that the State Department’s Mideast veterans are really experts at is getting things wrong.
Just look at their track record:
They said Yasser Arafat could be trusted the first time around, when the US recognized the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1988. They were wrong.
They said that Arafat could be trusted the second time around, after the 1993 Oslo Accords. They were wrong.
They said that if Israel stopped building settlements, there would be peace. They were wrong.
They said that if Israel froze construction in existing settlements, there would be peace. They were wrong.
They said that if Israel offered the Palestinians a state, there would be peace. Three Israeli prime ministers heeded that advice. Wrong again.
Now the Jewish Arabists come to warn about moving the embassy. The Trump Administration must declare “both privately and publicly, that they’re not moving [the embassy] to presuppose the legal status of the Old City and east Jerusalem,” Makovsky declared.
By “presuppose,” Makovsky means that the US should declare that it is not recognizing “the Old City and east Jerusalem” as belonging to Israel.
Well, why not? Why shouldn’t the US recognize all of Jerusalem as belonging to Israel? Does Makovsky think that “the Old City and east Jerusalem” belong to somebody else?
Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for more than 3,000 years. It has never been anyone else’s capital. Both the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible define it as a Jewish city. Judaism’s holiest site is in the Old City of Jerusalem. Islam’s holiest site is in Saudi Arabia. The Balfour Declaration and the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, which establish the basis in international law for the rise of the State of Israel, clearly included Jerusalem — eastern and western, Old City and new city — as being part of the Jewish homeland.
I’m willing to give Makovsky the benefit of the doubt. I’ll assume that his perspective may have been compromised by all the time he has spent doing joint speaking appearances with longtime Palestinian Authority (PA) official Ghaith Al-Omari. Maybe if you spend a lot of time with a PA spokesman, you start believing the PA’s insane claims that Jerusalem has been a “Palestinian” city since the beginning of time, that the Jewish Temples in Jerusalem never existed and that the Western Wall is really a Muslim religious site called the “al-Buraq wall.”
But there’s a simple cure for the PA’s fake history and conspiracy theories. All you need to do is pick up any mainstream history book about the Middle East to learn the basic facts about the history and legal status of Jerusalem.
What a shame that David Makovsky, Aaron Miller, Dennis Ross, Martin Indyk and the rest have traveled so many thousands of miles back and forth between the US and the Middle East, when all they ever needed to do was to pay a visit to their local library.
Stephen M. Flatow, a vice president of the Religious Zionists of America, is an attorney in New Jersey. He is the father of Alisa Flatow, who was murdered in an Iranian-sponsored Palestinian terrorist attack in 1995.

Shaya Lichtenstein secretly recorded some 70,000 conversations, including many with cops. Singing like a Chazzan

A crooked gun broker secretly made thousands of recordings of conversations with corrupt NYPD cops, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.
The revelation likely will send shock waves through the department.
In a letter filed in Manhattan Federal Court, prosecutors said Alex (Shaya) Lichtenstein secretly recorded some 70,000 conversations, including many with cops.
In November, Lichtenstein pleaded guilty to bribing NYPD officers to obtain pistol licenses.
Lichtenstein saved the conversations to an e-mail account, “many of them contemporaneous memorialization of dealings of questionable legality with members of the NYPD,” according to the letter written by Assistant U.S. Attorney Martin Bell.
“During our initial review of those recordings, we learned that some of these calls implicated at least one of the defendants in this case.”
The feds said they also got “material” from the phones of Jeremy Reichberg, a Brooklyn businessman who is accused of doling out gifts to senior cops, including trips to the Super Bowl, Brazil and China, sources said.
That material was not described in any more specifics.
Lichtenstein pleaded guilty on Nov. 10 to offering a cop $6,000 in exchange for an expedited gun permit.
“I had a good and friendly relationship with New York City police officers. During these years, I gave police officers in the Licensing Division things of value, including money, knowing that by giving them those things, the officers would do me favors, including expediting gun license applications,” Lichtenstein, 45, said.
Sgt. David Villanueva is accused of accepting gifts in exchange for helping speed up weapons permits.
Police Officer Richard Ochetal, formerly of the gun licensing unit, pleaded guilty to charges relating to the probe — and is cooperating with cops, the feds said in June.
Deputy Chief Michael Harrington and Deputy Inspector James Grant were also arrested for allegedly acting as "cops on call" for Reichberg and another wealthy de Blasio donor, Jona Rechnitz.

Trump may cut ties with UN over its support for the PA

The Trump administration is preparing executive orders that would clear the way for the United States to reduce ties with organizations that support the Palestinian Authority (PA) or Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), including the United Nations, officials said Wednesday, according to The New York Times.

The first of the two draft orders, titled “Auditing and Reducing U.S. Funding of International Organizations” and obtained by the newspaper, calls for terminating funding for any United Nations agency or other international body that meets any one of several criteria.

Those criteria include organizations that give full membership to the Palestinian Authority or Palestine Liberation Organization, or support programs that fund abortion or any activity that circumvents sanctions against Iran or North Korea.

The draft order also calls for terminating funding for any organization that “is controlled or substantially influenced by any state that sponsors terrorism” or is blamed for the persecution of marginalized groups or any other systematic violation of human rights, according to The New York Times.

The order calls for then enacting “at least a 40 percent overall decrease” in remaining United States funding toward international organizations.

The order establishes a committee that would recommend where those funding cuts should be made. It asks the committee to look specifically at United States funding for peacekeeping operations; the International Criminal Court; development aid to countries that “oppose important United States policies”; and the United Nations Population Fund, which oversees maternal and reproductive health programs.

If Trump signs the order and its provisions are carried out, the cuts could severely curtail the work of United Nations agencies, which rely on billions of dollars in annual United States contributions for missions that include caring for refugees, noted The New York Times.

The second executive order, “Moratorium on New Multilateral Treaties,” calls for a review of all current and pending treaties with more than one other nation. It asks for recommendations on which negotiations or treaties the United States should leave.

American lawmakers have increasingly criticized the UN over the last month, in the wake of the Security Council passing Resolution 2334, which condemned Israel’s presence in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem.

Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) recently introduced a law that would block taxpayer dollars from going toward the UN. The U.S. provides the UN with 22% of its funding.

A day after the UN resolution passed, Cruz had called on the United States to withhold funding to the global body until it reverses its decision. Similarly, Graham announced his intention to introduce the legislation shortly after the vote.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee suggested that the United States should pull its portion of the UN’s funding and allocate the funds to serve American veterans.

Trump himself criticized the UN following the passing of the anti-Israel resolution, saying the global body is “not living up to its potential” and asserting that the UN causes problems instead of solving them.

What drove Aron Austerlits to take his life?

A Rockland father who was found fatally shot in the woods last week died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to News 12 sources.
Ramapo police wouldn’t confirm the victim’s identity, but News 12 sources say the victim was Aron Austerlits. The information given to News 12 by police did match the details provided by News 12 sources. His body was found at Viola Park in Monsey.
Austerlits spent his entire life in the ultra-orthodox village of New Square until 2011 when he was allegedly banished by religious leaders.
See video of protest against Aron years ago ..

Sources say the father of eight was banished alongside New Square firebombing victim Aron Rottenberg.
A friend of Austerlits said he helped a lot of people and gave charity to people privately.
