Rabbi Gordon Tucker of Temple Israel White Plains funds "Boycott Israel Organization"

Congregant calls him out on it, and the coward sends his lap dog, Ellen Salant, to answer the congregant!

Israel hater "Rabbi" Tucker
Here is a "rabbi" that is heavily connected to an organization that hates Israel... and he even goes a step further ....  he goes ahead and takes hard earned Jewish money donated to his "shul" (to the tune of $6,000.00) to fund an anti-Semitic organization, an organization that supports Hamas!

Here see how the NIF praises this "devil in a suit" that calls himself Rabbi Turner!
This is NIF's Facebook page published in May 2012

Inspiring sermon by Rabbi Gordon Tucker.

Several months ago, in another context, I told you the following story, which I heard from Leonard Fein. I tell it again now, for a different, and very specific, reason:

At Temple Israel Center of White Plains, one of the largest conservative synagogues in America, Phil Jacobs, a long-term member and donor to the synagogue took offense to learning that his shul had donated money to NIF – which openly supports a boycott of the State of Israel.

Jacobs shared facts about NIF in a letter to the Rabbi and the board and then asked:
“..knowing what you now know about NIF does the Board judge it to be a worthy recipient?
Worthy, in spite of supporting Israel boycott,  in spite of having been called a threat to IDF by deputy Knesset speaker, in spite of supporting teaching founding of Israel to be a "catastrophe", in spite of 20 instances  of bad behavior?
Several  members to whom I mentioned the allegations have said that  if true, they warrant firing Tucker.”

He continued,
“This giving of temple money to NIF should never have happened without the explicit permission of all temple members, because so many members would find this so offensive, if they knew the truth about the NIF.  I am sure you and the Trustees will be appalled by their behavior, after reading this letter. In part because there was no Jewish state, seventy years ago 6,000,000 of our brothers and sisters were murdered because they were Jews. 1,000,000 precious beautiful Jewish children were murdered."

"Now that we have a Jewish state, isn’t our job to do everything possible to support it, rather than supporting NGOs the behavior of which so many consider to be so inimical to the security of  Israel?  Do we really want to give our money to a group that supports teaching that the founding of our beloved Jewish homeland was a 'nakba',  a catastrophe?”

The response came from Ellen Salant, President of the Board: (notice she is the one angry)
Ellen Salant supporter of the anti-Israel "Rabbi" smiling like a "Chulent Bean"

“On October 19, 2015, the Temple Israel Center ("TIC") Executive Committee ("EC") convened and discussed the issues raised in the emails you have recently circulated.

The EC unanimously reached the following determinations:
·  in October 2013, a contribution was made to the New Israel Fund from Rabbi Tucker's Discretionary Account

·  the contribution was made in accordance with TIC's DiscretionaryAccount policy (which we provided to you) and the TIC By-laws;

·  the EC unequivocally supports Rabbi Tucker's authority to make such contributions from his Discretionary Account; and

·  the EC stands behind Rabbi Tucker's unwavering support of the State of Israel and for the Jewish people;

·  the EC is outraged by the manner in which you have chosen to express yourself and to disparage and slander our spiritual leader, which is incompatible with the ethics of Judaism and the values of our community. He has earned and rightfully deserves to be treated with the utmost respect. Rabbi Tucker continues to have the full, and unqualified support and confidence of the leadership of our synagogue.”

Temple Israel has made it clear. One must not question Rabbi Tucker’s “unwavering support of the State of Israel”, although it seems to mean that not dividing Jerusalem is occupying Palestinian land, the IDF must stop oppressing Palestinian Arabs, and there must be a boycott of Israel for the sake of “tikkun olam”.

And I wish to give a clear response right here. There is no justification for the pulpit Rabbi of a synagogue to support an organization that openly boycotts Israel, and stands with the family members of Hamas terrorists.  Shame on Temple Israel of White Plains.

Now read the open letter to  Ellen Salant in it's entirety!

AN OPEN LETTER TO ELLEN SALANT OF TEMPLE ISRAEL REGARDING NEW ISRAEL FUND

The following letter was sent to Ellen Salant, President of Temple Israel, in response to the recent revelation that Rabbi Gordon Tucker of the synagogue had donated “discretionary funds” to New Israel Fund.
Dear Ellen:
The New Israel Fund arouses such antipathy in Israel that the Deputy Speaker of the Knesset was quoted as follows:
Deputy Knesset speaker Yoni Chetboun said, “The main goal of the NIF is to undermine the Israeli army, by knowingly financing left-wing Israeli groups that try to get young Israeli soldiers prosecuted for war crimes.”
You informed me that in 2013 Gordon used his discretion to give $5000 – $5999. to The New Israel Fund using temple money.
Many find this deeply objectionable because of the behavior of NIF. There is a trust involved in granting Rabbi use of Discretionary funds;  i.e., that the money won’t be used to fund entities whose behavior is widely suspected of being inimical to the survival of our beloved Jewish state. This giving of temple money to NIF should never have happened without the explicit permission of all temple members, because so many members would find this so offensive, if they knew the truth about the NIF.  I am sure you and the Trustees will be appalled by their behavior, after reading this letter.
The quibble that he gave “Discretionary” funds is just that – a quibble; the dollars that members give to the shul are fungible.
The charges against NIF include, but are not limited to, the following as found in an NGO Monitor posting on the NIF:
1 – NIF grantee Mada al-Carmel ($450,000 in 2006-2008) calls for a change in the definition of the State of Israel from a Jewish state,” and the implementation of the Palestinian “right of return,” meaning the end of Jewish self-determination.
2 – NIF grantee Adalah ($1,045,292 in 2006-2008) would limit Jewish immigration (aliyah) to “humanitarian reasons”.
3 – NIF grantee Mossawa ($517,642 in 2006-2008) calls for the eradication of the Israeli flag and national anthem.
NIF grantees Aswat and Al-Qaws (combined $111,000 in 2008) refer to “Israels stifling Apartheid” and “[o]ur 62-year struggle for freedom from Israeli occupation and Apartheid.”
4 – NIF grantee BTselems ($785,285 in 2006-2008) Jessica Montell: “I think the word apartheid is useful for mobilizing people because of its emotional power. In some cases, the situation in the West Bank is worse than apartheid in South Africa.”
5 – NIF grantee Adalah ($1,045,292 in 2006-2008) declared Israel guilty of “colonialism” and “apartheid,” and placing Palestinians in “reserves and ghettos.”
6 – NIF grantee ACRI ($2,371,443 in 2006-2008) describes Israels practices as “in many ways reminiscent of the Apartheid regime in South Africa.”
7 – NIF grantees participate in Israel Apartheid Week
Adalah ($1,045,292 in 2006-2008) was scheduled to speak (March 9, 2010) at Al Quds University on “Apartheid as it is experienced by Palestinian citizens of Israel.”
8 – The founder and president of Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHR-I; $503,537 in 2006-2008) co-led the event that kicked off Londons 2008 Israel Apartheid Week (Feb. 11, 2008), giving a lecture on “Introducing Israel” at University of Londons School of Oriental and African Studies.
9-  A Breaking the Silence ($200,855) video was shown as part of Connecticuts 2010 Israel Apartheid Week (March 4, 2010.)
10 – Eight NIF grantees (combined $2.2 million in 2008; $5,621,728 in 2006-2008) submitted a joint statement to Goldstone alleging
“human rights violations for which Israel must be held accountable.”
11 – Eight NIF grantees (combine $1,813,424 in 2006-2008) have been lobbying foreign governments to adopt the Goldstone report.
12 – An official from NIF grantee Adalah ($1,045,292 in 2006-2008) appeared before the UN Human Rights Council and encouraged the Council “to act to end the culture of impunity and unequal justice.”
13 – Five NIF grantees (combined $437,224 in 2008) successfully petitioned the Norwegian Pension Fund to divest from Israeli firms.
14 – NIF grantee Coalition of Women for Peace (CWP; $285,509 in 2006-2008) supports BDS and the UC Berkeley divestment campaign.
15 – NIF grantee CWP ($285,509 in 2006-2008) runs the divestment website WhoProfits.org
16 – NIF grantee Adalah ($1,045,292 in 2006-2008) submitted a legal opinion to a Spanish court in support of a lawfare case against Israeli officials.
17 – NIF grantees CWP and Social TV (combined $366,089 in 2006-2008) lobbied the British government to “enable the prosecution of Israeli War Criminals”
18 – NIF grantee PCATIs ($48,888 in 2006-2008) CEO Ishai Manuchin supports foreign prosecution of Israeli officials for “war crimes.”NIF grantees PCATI and Adalah met with officials of the International Criminal Court to discuss prosecution options relating to the Gaza War
19 – On November 2-3, 2009, representatives of PCATI and Adalah joined the NGO leaders of the anti-Israel lawfare campaign (PCHR, Al Haq, FIDH) in a series of meetings with officials at the International Criminal Court to “explor[e] different avenues to bring justice to the victims of serious violations of international human rights and humanitarian law” relating to the Gaza War.
20 -Yesterday, 19 November 2012, human rights organizations based in Israel and Gaza demanded that a criminal investigation be opened into the suspicion of war crimes by the Israeli military following the killing of 10 Palestinian civilians, including 8 members of the Al-Dalu family, in Gaza on 18 November 2012.  The familys home was hit by a bomb at approximately 2:30pm, in an Israeli air strike on the residential building.  Adalah, Al-Mezan Centre for Human Rights in Gaza and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights in Gaza put the demand forward in a letter to the Israeli Military Advocate General and the Attorney General.
Daunting, to say the least.  But  don’t take my word for it – just immediately go to the Adalah website (NIF grantee) this very minute and you will see writings in support of stopping “Judaization” of Jerusalem,  in support of  Israel state funding to mourn the founding of the state by calling it a “nakba”, i.e., catastrophe), etc. etc. etc. ad nauseam.
Assuming these twenty allegations against NIF are true, assuming even half are true, knowing what you now know, do you want temple money to go to NIF?
Several questions immediately arise in connection with this transfer of funds from TIC to NIF:
1 – What are the temple rules governing the use of Discretionary funds?  Please provide citations from incorporation and other relevant documents.
2 – Does the board support continuing to give NIF, and like organizations, temple money?  Is this the purpose for which  “Discretionary funds”  were set up?  Was this the intent?
3 – What other NGOs have been given Discretionary or other temple funds?
4 – Do you think that if the members of TIC knew of the above allegations they would approve of their money being given to NIF?
5 – What oversight mechanism does the board employ to supervise Rabbi’s use of discretionary fund?   Did the board know of his gift to NIF before he did it?  After he did it?  Ever?
6 – Going forward, what oversight mechanism will be used to insure that the Rabbi’s use of the discretionary fund is proper?
In part because there was no Jewish state, seventy years ago 6,000,000 of our brothers and sisters were murdered because they were Jews.  1,000,000 precious beautiful Jewish children were murdered.
Now that we have a Jewish state, isn’t our job to do everything possible to support it, rather than supporting  NGOs  the behavior of which so many consider to be so inimical to the security of  Israel?  Do we really want to give our money to a group that supports teaching that the founding of our beloved Jewish homeland was a “nakba”,  a catastrophe?
I look forward to your detailed response to the six questions above concerning Rabbi’s use of T I C discretionary funds to support NIF and it’s subsidiary NGOs.

Iberia Airlines Captain on Flight from Spain to Israel announces "Landing Shortly in Palestine"

On an Iberia Air flight from Spain to Israel on Wednesday, Israeli passengers were infuriated when the captain announced as they were approaching Ben-Gurion Airport that they “would be landing shortly in Palestine.”
Israel’s Channel 2 reported that the captain first made the announcement in Spanish and then stated in English that in a few minutes the plane would be landing into Tel Aviv.
Passengers said that the captain had never mentioned the word “Israel” during in-flight updates.
One passenger, Lior, told Channel 2 that he was “somewhat overwhelmed” by what happened.
“Everyone started whispering, we were just in shock, I don’t understand why he said that,” he added. “We live in the State of Israel and he should have said ‘Israel,’ he didn’t absentmindedly say it in English, it was intentional – and even more so in this tense time.”
Another passenger said that what the captain did “was unacceptable, we all noticed it.”
Channel 2 quoted one passenger who reportedly complained about the incident in a letter to the airline saying, “My family and I were incredibly offended, it was completely inappropriate and it does not do service to your company.”

Rav Shteinman backtracks under pressure and says that anyone who joins Nachal Chareidi is doing an "unforgivable sin" Update

It wasn't too long ago when there was massive protests against Rav Shteinman at the Atrium in Monsey because he had made statements that Bochrim that don't learn should join the IDF!

I was there myself bringing my son to The Atrium so that he would be able to see the "Gadol Hador" and I was met with thousands of anti-Shteinman protesters outside, that were screaming "Yemach Shemo V'Zicro " using Rav Shteinman's name!

Now the Gadol sends a letter R' Don Segal that those joining the "Nachal Chareidie" contingent of the IDF are "mechallei shabbos" and "chayev kares"

The gemarrah debated this issue 2,000 years ago when hundreds of Jewish soldiers refused to be mechallel shabbos during the time of the Maccabians and were brutally murdered by the Syrian-Greeks, the Tanaim then paskened that any Jewish soldier that is in the army can be mechallel shabbos.

The gemarrah has also said that in the times of Moshiach the leaders of the Jewish people will be afraid to say what's really on their mind
"Pnie Kelev K'pnei Doro"
Vahmeivin Yavin!
Now read the letter!
UPDATED
I'v just been notified that this is an old undated letter!

To the honor of my friend the gaon and tzaddik, R’ Don Segal may HaShem watch over him. Pleasant tidings on his right forever.
Since he has heard a widespread and continued report suggesting that I am in support of the idea of Nachal Charedi, that bochurim who are weak in Torah study or in Yiras Shomayim will benefit from being there and understandably such a thought would never enter my mind, what was discussed in the beginning was that bochurim who are mechallelei Shabbos and actually committing other grave transgressions for which the punishment is kareis. And the father wants to save the boy and to save the street from enduring damage that we do not have the power to withhold him but for sure it is an unforgivable sin if he were to persuade or entice in any possible way which might cause anyone who is not a mechallel Shabbos or committing other chayivei kerisos to be placed there.

And as a rule I refrain from replying about this issue because the way of some people even from those who are considered to be charedim for the word of HaShem is that they explain everything with all sorts of theories and they enjoy to cast blame on people, may HaShem forgive since perhaps their intention is for Heaven’s sake but since his honor and greatness is known to me that he isn’t chas v’shalom among those who seek to malign I am writing to you. We may hope to HaShem Yisborach that there be an increase of those who study Torah and of those who are servants of HaShem Yisborach which through their merit HaShem will have mercy on His nation and redeem us the eternal redemption.
his friend who respects him in his high esteem

Hundreds of Chareidim At NYPD Headquarters To Congratulate Promotion Of Ira (Yitzy) Jablon To Lieutenant !

What a Topsy turvy world we live in ....hundreds of Chareidim drooling and falling over themselves to congratulate Yitzy Jablon on his promotion to Lieutenant in the NYPD!
Now, I'm actually very proud of him, and I think he deserves the accolades given to him .

However, if he was in the IDF (Chas V'eshulim), these same guys would be ripping off his uniform and throwing stones at him like Arabs.

So let's understand, if a guy decides to help out and protect his brothers and sisters in the holy land and joins the IDF, the "gedoilim" say its "yehreg v'al yaavor" but if he joins the NYPD to help the shvartzas , then we fawn over him as if he was a G-D!

Monsey Rabbonim are busy with the Goy St. Lawrence while Jews in Israel Are Being Murdered!

When was the last time anyone drove on Route 306 or Route 59 in Monsey?

Did you notice  developments being built, without giving any thought for any space for school buses to pick and drop off children, causing massive dangerous bottlenecks?

Just this morning I saw an EMT Ambulance trying to maneuver thru traffic on 306, at the Belzer Yeshivah, a building  that doesn't have a driveway for a bus to pick up and drop off children, and the ambulance was stuck in traffic for 8 precious minutes while the School bus was dropping off it's passengers on Route 306! Don't forget that when a bus has it's red lights on, traffic stops in both directions!

Can you imagine having your loved ones in that ambulance?

Did you see any space for children to play?

Did you notice any greenery?

Did you wonder what happened to this once beautiful community?

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for development.... I'm all for building new Yeshivos......
Why not build developments that have a niche carved out so buses can safely pick up and drop off children?
Why not build a "shtikel playground?
Where are the children supposed to play?

Did you notice the new development on Route 59 near the Finkelstein Library?
Did you notice the children playing on the parking lots where cars come in and out constantly?

Did you notice the development recently put up on Route 306 with absolutely no place for children to play?
And who do you think moves into these developments?
Chassidim, who have at least 5 children per family, that means hundreds of children roaming close to the cars whizzing by!
A tragedy waiting to happen!

Who endorses these crazy zoning laws allowing these developers to  build these dangerous houses, unfettered, and with total impunity?

You guessed it! The Rabbonim!

So why would a Rav, a Ben Torah allow this atrocity to go on?
Because the developers bribe them!
There I said it!

But do you know what gets me?
The Chassidishe Monseyeites found money to publish an entire newspaper with the entire 36 pages dedicated to electing this goy St Lawrence, a goy that is being bought by the developers!

Not only that .... they call it an "emergency election," and they write that if St. Lawrence is not elected as Town Supervisor, the anti-Semites will Chas V'Sholem get in!

Get it? They themselves caused this massive Chillul Hashem, turning Monsey into a huge parking lot with houses built on top of these parking lots , and they are wondering why the Monsey Goyim want to put an end to this?

There isn't even enough Yeshivos built in Monsey to accommodate these kids .... There are Hundreds .... yes hundreds of children with no Yeshivois!
There was a bunch of Rabbonim that put an ad in the Yated and Der Yid, and Der Blatt begging Chassidim to first check out if there is room for their children in the Yeshivois before they move into Monsey!

Meanwhile in Israel, Jews are being murdered and stabbed, and what do the Rabbonim think is an Emergency?
Electing St. Lawrence der goy!

Nobody printed a special free edition to talk about the matzav of our brothers and sisters in Israel!

Shame on us for allowing this!
Woe to the residents of Monsey that only care about electing and bribing a goy!

Did a Rebbie Kill Chaim Weiss in 1986?

On November 1, 1986, at approximately 7:50 AM, Chaim Weiss a third year rabbinical student at Torah High School, a Jewish Orthodox Yeshiva, was found murdered, by unknown person(s). His body was discovered in his dormitory located at 63 East Beech Street, Long Beach, NY. Photo: Nassau Police

It’s been nearly three decades since 15-year-old yeshiva student Chaim Weiss was bludgeoned to death with a “hatchet-like weapon” in his Yeshiva of Long Beach dormitory on Long Island.
Law enforcement authorities reopened the cold case three years ago and interviewed 100 former students, but still came up empty as to who was responsible for the heinous and cold blooded murder that took place on Halloween night 29 years ago.
“It’s one that has really stuck with me,” retired Detective Robert Edwards told the Daily News (http://nydn.us/1P9I6Vl).
“He was sleeping in his room, a place that is supposed to be safe.” Edwards said some 140 students were initially interviewed when the crime was first committed, but they all “lawyered  up” and claimed they didn’t know what happened. “We got nothing,” Edwards recalled.
Yeshiva administrators went to check on Weiss after he did not attend Sabbath morning prayers on November 1, 1986, and discovered his body. His skull was crushed from the blunt force trauma he had sustained to the head. The murder weapon was never recovered.
Weiss’ Staten Island-based parents are still distraught by the loss of their son and are hoping for answers. His father, Anton, visits Chaim’s grave every year before the anniversary of his murder. He also routinely meets with the Nassau County police captain who is assigned to the case.
Police have said there were several strange things about the way the body was discovered. His body had been moved to the floor, a window had been opened in the room, and a memorial candle was placed in the room – all rituals in accordance with Jewish tradition. Weiss was one of only two students who didn’t have a roommate, and there was no sign of a struggle or anything missing from the room.

Investigators have ruled out initial suspects, including a mentally ill man, Halloween pranksters, and a janitor. The police now believe the murder was committed by a fellow student or a faculty member.
“How could this happen and nobody hear or say anything? Somebody’s got a secret,” said Nassau County Police Capt. John Azzata.
Azzata said police still plan to interview another 100 former students again, in the hopes that maturity may have changed their minds about speaking up. “People are aware of what transpired back then and you’d hope with maturity they’d come forward now,” Azzata said. “That hasn’t happened yet.”
