Watch: A month after the terrorist attack in Paris, Israeli journalist took a walk in the city wearing a tzitzit and kippah.

One month after the terrorist attack on the Hyper Cacher supermarket in Paris, journalist Zvika Klein of the NRG Hebrew language news website took a walk across the French capital while wearing a tzitzit and a kippah.

The walk, during which Klein was and accompanied by a bodyguard and a cameraman, proved to be an intimidating one.

“For 10 hours I quietly walked down the streets and suburbs of Paris, with photographer Dov Belhassen documenting the day using a GoPro camera hidden in his backpack.

Given the tensions in Paris, which is still reeling from a wave of terrorist attacks (including the murder of Charlie Hebdo magazine journalists), I was assigned a bodyguard,” recalled Klein. “At times it was like walking in downtown Ramallah. Most women were wearing a veil or a hijab, most men appeared to be Muslim, and Arabic was prevalent everywhere. We decided ahead of time that I was to walk through these areas quietly, without stopping anywhere, without speaking to anyone, without so much as looking sideways.

My heart was pounding and negative thoughts were running through my head. I would be lying if I said I was not afraid,” he continued. “Walking into a public housing neighborhood, we came across a little boy and his hijab-clad mother, who were clearly shocked to see us. ‘What is he doing here Mommy? Doesn’t he know he will be killed?’ the boy asked.”

Klein recalls walking into a marketplace in one of the mostly Muslim neighborhoods, and one merchant yelled, “Look at him! He should be ashamed of himself. What is he doing walking in here wearing a kippa?!"

“Is this what life is like for Paris' Jews? Is this what a Jew goes through, day in and day out, while walking to work or using public transportation?” wonders Klein.

“The majority of French Jews do not flaunt their religion, as the Jewish community leaders have urged them to wear hats as they walk to and from work, or go bareheaded. But what about nighttime?

Well, Jews prefers to stay inside in the evening. It is safer at home.

US to halt updates to Israel on Iran nuclear talks in response to Netanyahu speech plans

The Unites States will no longer provide regular updates to the Israeli government on the status of the P5+1 nuclear talks with Iran, Channel 2 reported on Sunday.

The move is the Obama administration's response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to appear before a joint session of Congress, during which he is expected to discuss sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

Channel 2 reported that the White House is incensed over the Israeli government's conduct in recent weeks regarding the Iranian issue, believing that Jerusalem has taken a sensitive issue with implications for national security and used it for political gain while interfering in American domestic politics.

According to Channel 2, the Obama administration is also angry over Israeli officials' distorted use of information about the progress of the Iran nuclear talks.

Wendy Sherman, the under secretary of state for political affairs, informed her counterparts in Jerusalem that she would no longer provide updates on the Iran nuclear negotiations due to what Washington perceives as untoward use of the information for domestic Israeli political purposes.

The administration has also instructed Susan Rice, Washington's ambassador to the United Nations, to cease communications with Netanyahu's national security adviser, Yossi Cohen.

The Prime Minister's Office responded to the Channel 2 report by saying that Israel and the US continue to maintain "deep strategic relations" and that Cohen is due to fly to the US soon to take part in a conference, during which he is scheduled to meet with both Sherman and Rice.

Earlier on Sunday, House Speaker John Boehner said he made a politically calculated decision not to inform the White House of his invitation to Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress, fearing US President Barack Obama would attempt to obstruct the speech.

Speaking to Fox News, Boehner said that Netanyahu's message on Iran was important for the American people to hear— and that the White House would prefer they not hear his position, which stands in opposition to the president's.

"I wanted to make sure that there was no interference," Boehner said, referring to the White House. "There’s no secret here in Washington about the animosity that this White House has for Prime Minister Netanyahu. I frankly didn’t want that getting in the way, quashing what I thought was a real opportunity."

The host of "Fox News Sunday," Chris Wallace, has been critical of the speaker's moves in the past, and asked Boehner if he has turned the critical issue of US-Israel relations into a political football.

"I have not," he said. "The fact is that we had every right to do what we did... I wanted the prime minister to come here."

Satmar doesn't want Jews to Vote in Israeli Elections, offers 100.00 per "Non-Voter"

Satmar (Eida Chareidis) is going crazy, as they watch Frum Parties in Israel mushroom!

They're whole "Shita" is going down the drain faster than you can say "Yoieli" and they are horrified to witness  the Satmar anti-Zionist "shita" going bankrupt in Israel!

Desperately trying to stem the erosion of their asinine theology, the antiquated Eida Chareidit (Satmar puppets) is now offering $100.00 to any Chareidie that can prove that he will not vote in the elections.

Frum Israeli Jews, now know, that not voting, is going to keep them in the stone age; .......  constantly screaming at the Zionists will not improve their matzav ...
The only way to change the system is to vote!
If you want more money for Yeshivas, you have to vote in those who value Torah learning.
If you want Yeshiva boys not to be drafted, you have to vote for people that support those ideas!

The Satmars on the other hand, don't want the Chareidim to vote, so they can perpetuate their anti-Israel stance in the frum communities, and bolster their futile claims  that the government is evil and criminalizes those who defy the draft laws!
By not having the religious vote, the Satmars believe they can keep the typical naive sheep shackled to their extremist ideology, and control them....
the Satmar leadership thinks that the $100.00 bribe, will work!

Extremists from the haredi Eida Haredis organization are once again giving out financial grants to people who refrain from voting in the 2015 elections.

Posters appeared on notice boards in several communities declaring the doling out of non-voting grants, under the title, "All Votes Count - for GrantMoney."

"Due to the upcoming elections, it will be possible once again to receive cash payment for applicants who can prove that they have not voted in this election, by handing in ID cards etc.," the poster claims.

The poster also adds a strange set of criteria, noting that the grant is not eligible for citizens who did not vote in the last election, or did not vote for "certain reasons," which remain unspecified.
It also adds that it does not apply to haredi citizens whose Rabbis told them to vote for a certain party.

More than one haredi community does not vote for anti-Zionist reasons in Israel, despite the plethora of haredi parties running in the Knesset and the various factions representing different sects.

The anti-Zionist Satmar hassidic sect has once again offered $100 to all who can prove they have not voted during the 2015 elections.

According to senior Satmar officials, the intention is to prevent as many Israeli citizens from voting on election day as possible.
"The previous government proved their intentions to recruit yeshiva students to the army and change the study arrangements of haredi institutions," Satmar's representative in Israel said.
"It's a shame that there are still haredi parties who believe those politicians who destroy the religion."

Chareidi parties will do anything for money even join the leftist Lapid!

Yishai
The Chareidi whores will sell the entire Israel to the Arabs if they could only get some money for the Kollilim!

Incredible???

No morals, No nothing!

Yishai, the leader of the newly formed Yachad Party, has agreed to sit with Lapid the leader of the leftist Yesh Atid party, the party that  would give Yerushalyim back to the arabs... if only Lapid agreed to lift the criminal sanctions component of the chareidi draft law....
Yishai has agreed to  enter with them in a coalition!
This is the same Lapid that the Litvishe Gedoilim called "Yemach Shemo"

Deri, the other "Chochum from the Ma Nistana" had already  met with Lapid many times previously, though he denies it....

Unbelievable!

Yoel Berkowitz, Satmar Chusid gives it up to join the IDF!

Finally a "Yoilie" seeing the light. All his life he's been fed to hate the State of Israel, to hate his fellow brothers sisters and brothers who are Zionists. He visits the State and sees the Truth... His family back home, "is very angry"! Angry? Did he become a "mechallel Shabbos"? NOPE! He is a "shomer Torah Umitzvos" and put on tallis and tefillin every day! Get this, they are "angry" at him because he loves Israel!
How sick and demented is this Chassidus?
KOL HAKOVED Yoel Berkowitz!
Yoel Berkowitz
Yoel Berkowitz, 21, knew from a very young age that he will spend his life in the ultra-Orthodox community of the Satmar Hasidic dynasty in Brooklyn, like the rest of his family members. But a visit to Israel with his friends changed the course of his life completely.

"What started as an innocent visit to Israel, the country I was taught not to love, turned into a love story that hasn't stopped to this day," Berkowitz says.

Yoel was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, in a closed Satmar community, where he was raised to believe the State of Israel and the Zionist Movement are the root of all evil and the leading cause of the trouble that has befallen the Jewish people over the last century.

Six years ago, however, Berkowitz's views completely changed after a visit to Israel.

He decided to take off his shtreimel (fur hat worn by Hassidic Jews), make aliyah to Israel and join a combat unit in the IDF.

My parents are very angry with me, to this day. It's hard for them to comprehend the move I made. My entire life I was raised to believe Israel is something bad," he says. "It's only when I got here that I discovered how far their truth was from reality on the ground: I discovered a beautiful country with great people, that is fighting for its life every day in the Middle East."

Yoel was excommunicated from his community but keeps in contact with his family, despite their anger.

He made aliyah with the Friends of Israel Scouts' Garin Tzabar program, which facilitates service in the IDF for children of Israelis and Diaspora Jews not living in Israel.

Berkowitz is currently living in the Kvutzat Yavne religious kibbutz, where he's preparing for upcoming tryouts to elite combat units in the IDF. His biggest aspiration is to be accepted to the Duvdevan Unit. He will be enlisting with the IDF in March.

When asked why he came to Israel, Yoel speaks with Zionist fervor, as if he was never a part of the Satmar community. "This is the only country of the Jewish people, and it's very important we protect our home at any cost. All Jews must stand together and remember that if, heavens forbid, something grave happens to Israel - no state will stand by its side. The responsibility for our own fate is solely in our hands."

While Berkowitz renounced Satmar, he remains religious. He continues laying phylacteries and praying every day, and keeps Shabbat and kosher. He did, however, change his black Hassidic suit to a T-shirt, jeans and a crocheted kippah.

"I want to build my home and raise my children here," he says. "The Israelis are much more warm and lovely than the Americans. There's unity you can't find elsewhere in this intensity. I hope that thanks to this unity, I'll be able to find a wife here so I could build a loyal home in Israel."

Israel Scouts Global Division Executive Director, Gary Vitkin, says that "The Friends of Israel Scouts' Garin Tzabar program was created exactly for recruits with a sense of mission and a goal like Yoel, who choose to leave their lives in their home countries to make aliyah to Israel and to serve a meaningful service in the IDF.

Yoel is a part of a family of 400 young Jews from across the world who immigrated to Israel only over last year that we closely accompany so they could feel the Israeli embrace, the likes of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world, while they're in Israel."

Ami Magazine calls Vocational Colleges that solicit Chareidim "Morally repulsive"

The "morally repulsive,"  Frankfurter, publisher of the "Pro-Satmar Anti-Israel" Magazine, Ami, continues to make a fool of himself!

In this week's edition, The Frank, writes an editorial about his visit to the Jerusalem College of Technology's Machon Lev Institute, Israel's leading school of engineering for Modern men and women.

The Institute was founded by the late Professor Zev Lev primarily for Hesder Talmidim.

Machon Lev combines academic studies with Jewish learning and enrolls many Chareidim in separate campuses for men and women.

The Frank, interviewed the assistant to the President of the Mechon, Stuart Herskowitz, as he put it, to "ascertain whether Mechon Lev's goal was to teach a trade to those members of the chareidie community seeking a vocation to support themselves (a highly laudable undertaking),
or to "meddle in the chareidi community's pedagogical philosophy and methods."

The Frank,  added the words, ("an ethically repugnant activity" in parenthesis, for some reason ...

So, The Frank, traveled 5,000 miles from his home to Israel to "ascertain" if a school that helps Chareidim with parnassa and gives them a trade, that helps them support their families ....
is "meddling" with "Chareidie philosophy"!

And what, does The Frank, think is Chareidie philosophy?
DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

But he won't, G-d Forbid, come out and say it......
he masquerades his "do nothing philosophy" with a lot of sophisticated "word salad" to fool his readers into thinking that he advocates people training to have a trade!

To bolster his lie that he is all for Chassidim having a trade, he writes:
"It would be hard to find another Jewish periodical that publishes as many articles on the subject of business. We endeavor each week to assist our readers in overcoming their financial challenges and help them prosper."

DIN:
It's true that The Frank, features every week business entrepreneurs,...... but what the clown won't tell you is that not everyone can start a business, and those that do, are a minority of a minority....very very few of them around....
and how many are successful?
Ami doesn't feature those who started a business and failed.

Some need to go to school to learn a trade....Mr. Frankfurter!

He then rants and raves against learning a trade; but does his best to confuse his readers into thinking he is really for it, by quoting the halacha that requires learning a trade , which is  a Mishna in Mesactas Shabbos and is the final psak according to all Rishonim including the Rambam!

"Rav Meir famously said, "One should make sure to teach his son a trade that is clean and easy."

And then, lest you think, that is The Frank's philosophy, he quickly switches, quoting the opposing view that is only designed for the very few, and  makes it the hallmark of his "editorial," saying that this is  Chareidie philosophy!

"By contrast, Rav Nehorai declared, "I forsake all professions in the world and teach my son only Torah"

Koznitz Rebbe attacked by Arab Savages on way to Har Hazeisim

Rebbe's Damaged Vehicle
In the latest of a string of attacks, a vehicle in which a Hassidic rebbe wasriding in on Wednesday on its way to the Mount of Olives was hit by heavy rocks was on his way to say memorial prayers on the Mount when Arabs in the Wadi Joz area of Jerusalem set upon the vehicle, nearly turning it over.

The incident began when the vehicle got stuck in a traffic jam. Apparently peering into the vehicle, several Arab teenagers began throwing rocks at the vehicle, and the disorder attracted more Arabs. Unable to extricate the vehicle from the traffic jam, the driver had no choice but to remain where he was – and the passengers, consisting of the Rebbe, family members, and close followers, had no choice but to try and avoid getting hit by the rocks.

Frightened for their lives, the passengers traveling with the Rebbe said that he immediately began praying. “He urged us to recite the Shema Yisrael prayer, and to recite the confession” - the prayers said by individuals who are about to die, said one witness. “There was a very somber atmosphere in the vehicle.”

After what seemed to be a very long time, the traffic jam cleared up, and the driver was able to get away from the scene of the rock throwing. Miraculously, no one was hurt, although the vehicle sustained significant damage.

Menahem Lubinsky, Chairman of the International Committee for the Protection of the Mount of Olives, condemned the incident. “This incident proves that the Arabs have no fear attacking Jews. Police must significantly upgrade their patrols in the area and increase security on and around the Mount of Olives, and severely punish those who violate the law. We cannot allow a situation where Jews are attacked day after day on their way to a holy Jewish site. We call on the government to act before a tragedy takes place.”

J Street Liars claim that 84% of Jews back Obama Stance on Iran

J Street, the left-wing Jewish organization dedicated to undermining Israel’s campaign to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons capability, is in hot water after publishing the results of a poll that claimed 84 percent of American Jews back President Obama’s diplomatic overtures to the Tehran regime.
No link to the poll appears on the J Street website. Nor was there any detail provided about the number of respondents polled, or the phrasing of the questions posed.
A number of social media commenters suggested that the numbers provided by J Street were entirely fabricated. And by J Street’s own admission, the results are actually contradictory.
A report in the Christian Science Monitor, which quoted the 84 percent figure without independently verifying it, noted that the J Street “survey registered a strong sense of connection to Mr. Netanyahu among American Jews, even though its results suggest they don’t support his policies.
Asked to gauge on a scale of 1 to 100 their feelings of warmth toward various leaders and personalities, respondents gave Netanyahu a 61 - higher than Obama (49) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (57).”
Moreover, a small line of text underneath the ‘84 percent’ claim - “strong support for progress made by P5+1″ - indicates that respondents were asked an entirely different question, meaning that J Street’s claim that the vast majority of American Jews reject Netanyahu’s stance contains a heavy dollop of spin.
J Street’s Communications Director, Jessica Rosenblum, merely deepened the confusion while trying to clarify it. “The prime minister is personally popular with American Jews. The difference here is that they have deep concerns about the policies he’s pursuing,” she told theChristian Science Monitor.
Rosenblum made no attempt to reconcile Netanyahu’s personal popularity among American Jews with the assertion that the vast majority of them reject his position on the main security threat Israel currently faces.
The Christian Science Monitor also quoted Dylan Williams, J Street director of government affairs, as saying, “I don’t think Jewish Americans are different from where the general American population is on this.”
However, a recent Gallup poll pointed towards the polar opposite conclusion, with 84 percent of respondents having a “mostly unfavorable” or “very unfavorable” view of Iran.
J Street is currently running an aggressive campaign opposing Netanyahu’s forthcoming address to the US Congress, using the hashtag #Bibidoesn’tspeakforme.
A petition being run by the organization goes so far as to describe Israel’s ambassador in Washington, Ron Dermer, as the envoy of Netanyahu, and not the State of Israel.
The offense was compounded by a screenshot (above) which showed that among the petition’s signatories were Nazi leaders “Adolf Hitler” and “Rudolf Hess,” as well as the American black nationalist leader “Malcolm X.”

Tznius Vaad in Beit Shemesh going Crazy... won't allow newspapers to write the word "military" or use "women's first names"

The Tznius "Parasites" of Beit Shemesh have taken their sick campaign to a whole new level.
These are the same  guys who beat up Chareidie Soldiers, and organize protests to stop traffic, so that the people who work, cannot drive.
It's time to start an organization that would put these animals out of business.
Here read the terror tactics that they use to frighten their victims that are similar to the mafia!
Immodest or banned words and terms, including 'great' and 'awesome
The ultra-Orthodox media is famous for censoring women's pictures and practicing extra caution on modesty-related issues, but the spiritual supervision usually ends there.

A Radical Charedi group in Beit Shemesh is now attempting to take the censorship one step further, demanding that editors of local newspapers and advertising pamphlets follow a particularly strict set of rules, which bans ads for women's driving courses, ads mentioning shopping malls, restaurants and even men's perfume.

The Committee for the Purity of the Camp issued a document titled "Specific instructions for advertisers," which seeks to impose strict restrictions on Beit Shemesh's haredi newspapers and states that the editors' discretion must be subject to the decisions of an "inspector" on behalf of the "chastity squad."

The document clarifies that all ads must be submitted to the inspector and must not be published without his specific approval.

The city's moderate Charedi population says it is being terrorized by these zealots through the media. "Clear threats are made against newspaper owners. They say that whoever won't obey them will be personally persecuted, and so will his business," one of the residents says. "This is a continuation of the Iranization of Beit Shemesh, not to mention ISISiazation."

"There is a lot of money involved in this. For example, thousands of shekels which are paid by every newspaper or leaflet editor for the spiritual supervisor's work," says a well-known haredi activist. "In addition, they have insane squads which remove any ad which is not supervised by them from mailboxes.

"These are the same people who are responsible for beating up soldiers, burning 'immodest' clothing stores for women and violent protests. It's time for the Shin Bet's 'Jewish department' to take care of them."

'Leaflet must not feature a double bed'

The set of rules states that newspapers must not feature pictures or silhouettes of young girls, men demonstrating different products, women's wigs and treatment beds. Pictures of small children, makeup and cosmetics, as well as women's clothes and shoes, will only be published "in a gentle, clearly haredi manner."

In addition, a leaflet must not feature a double bed, unless it is separated in two by a piece of furniture, and "personal clothing" and cosmetics must not take up more than one-quarter of the page.

According to the Committee for the Purity of the Camp, Beit Shemesh's newspapers must not publish ads for martial arts courses, driving courses for women and yeshiva students, acting and singings schools, etc. Couples counseling will only be included in the leaflet "with the approval of the city's rabbis."

Sing-along events, cantillation and CHasidic singing are also off limits, especially when they include women. Singers and lecturers performing in "mixed events" and "entertainers and other non-educational things" must not be advertised at all, and that also includes performances by female singers and dancers of course. Lecturers must be approved by the city's rabbis.

'Military terms are off limits'

Additional restrictions include publishing rooms for rent (unless they are in clear haredi areas), hotels (only if they have a kashrut certificate for their "nature" and of course food), vacations for women (only on behalf of haredi organizations and with the approval of a recognized rabbi), swimming pools (only separated), beaches (approved by the Committee), stores in non-haredi areas (only those approved by the supervisor), trips and attractions (only those that "match the haredi lifestyle").

Shopping malls, restaurants which are not in a haredi area, "unruly places," "prohibited" workplaces and Shabbat-desecrating businesses are off limits.

The radical group is also seeking to dictate the terminology used by the advertisers: Instead of "guest rooms" they must write "rooms for rent," they must not use the terms "spiritual" for marketing needs, must not mention "non-haredi" games, men's perfume, banned clothing and must not use "words describing facial treatments."

Women's first names and words such as "great" and "awesome" must not be used either. Mentioning pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding requires an approval from the supervisor.

The committee also bans the use of "men's names in women's products (such as "Reuven Cohen Wigs") and "military, police and academic terms."

Attorney Rabbi Uri Regev, CEO of the Hiddush - Freedom of Religion for Israel association, said in response: "It's no surprise that the violence and tyranny of the haredi modesty hooligans, which was directed in the past at secular and religious Jews, has reached the haredim themselves.
"It should be clear to the city's residents that if they don't rebel against the modesty supervisor and his partners, this crazy set of rules will only be the introduction," he stated.

"It takes a distorted mind to come up with all these restrictions," he added. "This raises the question whether these are real righteous people, who think about modesty day and night, or whether it's time to refer them to mental care."

Moshe Cohen, who founded Economy Candy on the Lower East Side, has died

Moshele Cohen

Economy Candy is a Lower East Side institution. It was created by Morris Cohen 90 years ago.

Economy Candy started out as a shoe store.
Morris Cohen was born in 1917 in New York. His family once lived on top of the store he would later create.
The Rivington Street confectionary empire started as a shoe store with candy hawked from a pushcart outside. Shoe sales plummeted during the Depression, so candy became the Cohen family moneymaker.
Today, the store lives on with thousands of old-school treats like candy cigarettes and Mallo cups alongside newer novelties like sugar-free candy and "Frozen"-branded bites.

Why are there still Jews backing this fool?

Barack Obama told VOX News today that “zealots” randomly shot “a bunch of folks in a Paris deli.”

Yated does Bio on Rav Teichtal z"l but omits R' Teicthal's pro State of Israel stance!

Rav Teichtal z"l author of "Eim Habanim Semeicha"
This past 10th of Shevat, was the 70th Yahrzeit of the great Rabbi Yissochor Shlomo Teichtal z"l,the  author of Mishneh Sochir a Halachic work on all parts of the Shulcha Aruch. Rav Teichtal z"l was  murdered in 1945, just days from being liberated while trying to protect a Jew that was being brutally beaten by a Ukrainian  for seizing a singly dry piece of bread.

But if you read the Four Page bio in the Yated, you would never  know the reason Rav Teichtal wrote the sefer Eim Habanim Semeichah, and what was in it.

The article goes into depth explaining his other seforim, but couldn't find space to mention  his most important work.
The Yated is afraid of the fanatical Israel haters, and would not
G-D forbid write what Rav Teichtal really wanted publicized.

Eim Habonim Semeicha was written  while hiding from the Nazis. And in this sefer he castigates the Gedoilim for opposing the rebuilding of Eretz Yisroel!

He writes:(The Rav wrote the sefer in Loshon Hakoidesh, this is an English Translation by R' Moshe Lichtman)

"Had the Orthodox Jews joined those who were engaged in this sacred endeavor sixty, fifty, or forty years ago, and had they inspired all of Israel to do the same, we would have found abundant relief in the Land. Thousands upon thousands would have settled there and would have been rescued from death. The Orthodox would have, thus, fulfilled the verse in Mishlei 24:11"To rescue those being taken out to be put to death."

He continues:
"However, they opposed this undertaking.
Not only did they oppose it, but they caused the simple, Orthodox Jews to despise the rebuilding of the Land so much that if one of them begins to speak or get enthused about it, they consider him repulsive and abominable. They all rebuke him, saying, "You are a Zionist, an abhorrence, and an abomination." Thus, they have truly caused the desirable Land to be despised and detested.
The simple man who does not know enough Torah to decide whether this is true or not, chastises those who desire to rebuild the Land.
He says, "You are a sinner and a Zionist," for he wants to be considered devout and pious. In this way, he defames both himself and our Holy Land. In reality, though, he is just a simpleton, someone who does not know how to ask. He cannot distinguish between his right and left. "

He Continues:
"Out Master, Maharam Chagiz, discusses the great punishment that awaits those who slander the inhabitants of Eretz Yisrael"

Hashem decreed that just as all the men who have seen My glory (Bamidbar 14:22) meaning, the generations of the spies.... willl not see the Land, the same is true of future generations.

Anyone who spreads an evil report about the Land will be stricken and will receive the punishment of the spies. This is the meaning of the next pasuk "And all who provoke Me shall not see it."

The divine Kabbalist R' Avraham Azulai (the grandfather of our master, the Chida) writes in his Holy work, Chesed L'Avraham

(Maayan 3, Nahar 12):
Anyone who lives in Eretz Yisrael is considered a tzaddik even though it does not seem that way, and even though he is presumed to be wicked."

He later writes:
"I must confess the truth and declare my sin, I, too, despised the rebuilding of the Land, because I heard unqualified statements made by many Orthodox Jews , which became firmly implanted in my heart. I did not concern myself with this matter at all, because I was preoccupied with learning, teaching, and writing volumes on the Talmud and its commentaries, as well as responses to questions regarding the word of Hashem. I only delved into this halacha after we suffered afflictions in this bitter exile. Hashem enlightened me, and I saw that I and all this who opposed this movement were mistaken. I admit and say, "That which I previously told you was mistaken." just like Rava and other Talmudic Sages did. When Rabbis admit their mistakes, they are praiseworthy."
"Thank G-D, I have no qualms about publicly expressing the truth that is in my heart. I am not afraid of any man, for I studied under great and righteous Gedoilim and was raised among the genuinely holy wise men of the generation. ...."

I will write excerpts from his sefer in coming posts

"Global warming" is the biggest science scandal ever

New data shows that the “vanishing” of polar ice is not the result of runaway global warming

By
The Scam

When future generations look back on the global-warming scare of the past 30 years, nothing will shock them more than the extent to which the official temperature records – on which the entire panic ultimately rested – were systematically “adjusted” to show the Earth as having warmed much more than the actual data justified.
Two weeks ago, under the headline
I wrote about Paul Homewood, who, on his Notalotofpeopleknothat blog, had checked the published temperature graphs for three weather stations in Paraguay against the temperatures that had originally been recorded. In each instance, the actual trend of 60 years of data had been dramatically reversed, so that a cooling trend was changed to one that showed a marked warming.
This was only the latest of many examples of a practice long recognised by expert observers around the world – one that raises an ever larger question mark over the entire official surface-temperature record.
Following my last article, Homewood checked a swathe of other South American weather stations around the original three. In each case he found the same suspicious one-way “adjustments”.
First these were made by the US government’s Global Historical Climate Network (GHCN). They were then amplified by two of the main official surface records, the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (Giss) and the National Climate Data Center (NCDC), which use the warming trends to estimate temperatures across the vast regions of the Earth where no measurements are taken. Yet these are the very records on which scientists and politicians rely for their belief in “global warming”.
Homewood has now turned his attention to the weather stations across much of the Arctic, between Canada (51 degrees W) and the heart of Siberia (87 degrees E). Again, in nearly every case, the same one-way adjustments have been made, to show warming up to 1 degree C or more higher than was indicated by the data that was actually recorded. This has surprised no one more than Traust Jonsson, who was long in charge of climate research for the Iceland met office (and with whom Homewood has been in touch). Jonsson was amazed to see how the new version completely “disappears” Iceland’s “sea ice years” around 1970, when a period of extreme cooling almost devastated his country’s economy.
One of the first examples of these “adjustments” was exposed in 2007 by the statistician Steve McIntyre, when he discovered a paper published in 1987 by James Hansen, the scientist (later turned fanatical climate activist) who for many years ran Giss. Hansen’s original graph showed temperatures in the Arctic as having been much higher around 1940 than at any time since. But as Homewood reveals in his blog post, “Temperature adjustments transform Arctic history”, Giss has turned this upside down. Arctic temperatures from that time have been lowered so much that that they are now dwarfed by those of the past 20 years.
Homewood’s interest in the Arctic is partly because the “vanishing” of its polar ice (and the polar bears) has become such a poster-child for those trying to persuade us that we are threatened by runaway warming. But he chose that particular stretch of the Arctic because it is where ice is affected by warmer water brought in by cyclical shifts in a major Atlantic current – this last peaked at just the time 75 years ago when Arctic ice retreated even further than it has done recently. The ice-melt is not caused by rising global temperatures at all.
Of much more serious significance, however, is the way this wholesale manipulation of the official temperature record – for reasons GHCN and Giss have never plausibly explained – has become the real elephant in the room of the greatest and most costly scare the world has known. This really does begin to look like one of the greatest scientific scandals of all time.

More Americans support than oppose Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s March 3 speech before a joint session of Congress on the Iranian nuclear threat and radical Islam, a new poll released by Rasmussen Reports revealed.

Forty-two percent of respondents agreed that Netanyahu “should accept Republican congressional leaders’ invitation to address Congress about Iran even if President Obama does not want him to come,” while 35 percent disagreed and 23 percent remained undecided.
“I can assure you that millions of Americans will be paying close attention to the prime minister’s words,” U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told Israel Hayom.
Netanyahu said Thursday that it is his obligation to speak before Congress, despite protests from the White House and congressional Democrats, due to the threat posed to Israel by the potential for a bad nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1 powers.
“Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the nuclear talks with the world powers are progressing in the path Iran has planned,” Netanyahu said. “That path leads Iran to becoming a nuclear threshold state with international approval, and all the economic relief. This means Iran will be relieved from all pressure and will be able to arm itself with nuclear bombs. This is very dangerous for Israel, for the region, for peace and for the entire world, and it is my duty as prime minister of Israel to warn of this danger and do everything I can to prevent it from happening.”
