Known Antifa members posed as pro-Trump to infiltrate Capitol riot

At least two known Antifa members were spotted among the throngs of pro-Trump protesters at the Capitol on Wednesday, a law enforcement source told The Post.

The Antifa members disguised themselves with pro-Trump clothing to join in the D.C. rioting said the sources, who spotted the infiltrators while monitoring video coverage from the Capitol.

The infiltrators were recognized due to their participation in New York City demonstrations, and were believed to have joined in the rioting so that Trump would get blamed, the source said.

Two other D.C. protesters were actually Philadelphia-based Antifa members, The Washington Times reported Wednesday night, citing a retired military officer with access to facial recognition software.

Louis Shenker 22 Arrested In NYC Bomb Hoax

 A self-described American nationalist suspected of leaving a hoax explosive device in a car at a New York City mall is facing criminal charges after turning himself in to police, authorities said Tuesday.

Louis Shenker, 22, will be charged with placing a false bomb, criminal possession of stolen property and abandonment of a disabled animal in connection with the episode Monday at the Queens Place Mall in Elmhurst, said detective Denise Moroney, a police spokesperson

The mall was evacuated around 7:30 a.m. Monday after a device that was made to look like an explosive was found in a black Tesla parked on a ramp in a parking garage. A dog — a husky — was also found in the vehicle, which had a Nevada license plate and had been reported stolen in that state.

Kamala Harris Recalls How As A Little Girl She Helped Slaves Escape On The "Undewgwound Wailwoad"

 

Kamala Harris chuckles as she tells the story. Not the chuckle of an insincere politician making up a story to appeal to her base, but the chuckle of a warm, loving woman. The kind of chuckle you would chuckle while hanging out with your family or locking up non-violent drug offenders for decades. 

She recalled in her interview with The Babylon Bee how as a little girl she helped slaves escape to the North on the "undewgwound wailwoad." (Did we mention how warm and sincere she was? It was like talking to your best bud).

"My parents were pushing me in a stroller," she says, cackling -- no, chuckling -- "and I must have gotten loose somehow." (At the time, there weren't any safety regulations on strollers, so this is not her parents' fault, just to be clear). "Anyway, I wandered away down to the Deep South and began helping slaves get to the free states. When my parents found me years later, they were understandably upset. They said, 'Kamala! What are you doing!?'"

She chuckled again.

"I replied, 'I'm hewping swaves escape on da undewground wailwoad, mommy!'" Harris then revealed that one of the slaves she helped escape grew up to be none other than Albert Einstein.

Harris, with her likeable laugh and authentic demeanor, went on to tell the story of how she helped "Abwaham Winkon" draft the "Emancipation Pwocwamation" and how she refused to give up her seat on a bus, launching the "Civil wights" movement.

Yesterday two people arrived at the home of R' Chaim to ask his advise about the latest "lockdown"

One was Moshe Leon, the Mayor of Yerushalyim who asked if the Yeshivos should close during this new lockdown ... R' Chaim said "yes"

But when Harav Pinzal the principal of a Yeshiva in Yerushalyim asked the exact same question... R' Chaim answered that it should remain "Open" 

The family of R' Chaim answered when questioned about the discrepancy 

"there is no clear cut decision"

240 Israelis found with COVID after vaccination, underscoring need for vigilance

 

Among the nearly one million Israelis vaccinated against coronavirus so far, some 240 Israelis have been diagnosed with the virus days after getting the shot, Channel 13 News reported Thursday.

The figure underscores the need for individuals to continue to protect themselves for weeks after being inoculated, as the body takes time to develop effective antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19.

The Pfizer vaccine is not made with the coronavirus itself, meaning that there is no chance anyone could catch it from the shots. Instead, the vaccine contains a piece of genetic code that trains the immune system to recognize the spiked protein on the surface of the virus and create antibodies to attack if it encounters the real thing.

But this process takes time, and studies of the vaccine so far have shown immunity to the virus rises only some 8-10 days after the first injection — and then only to around 50 percent effectiveness.

Stupid & Dangerous European Union says it will redouble efforts to save Iran nuclear deal

The European Union said Tuesday it would redouble its efforts to save the Iran nuclear agreement despite what it calls Tehran’s “important breach” of commitments made in the 2015 deal by starting to enrich uranium to new levels.

EU spokesman Peter Stano said that Iran’s actions “will have serious implications when it comes to nuclear nonproliferation.”

Stano said it was in everyone’s interest to rescue the deal and said the 27-nation bloc “will strengthen” its attempts to make sure all adhere to the commitments made in the landmark deal.

Iran stepping up its uranium enrichment also raised concerns in Israel. Defense Minister Benny Gantz called for greater international efforts to counter Iran.

“We know that Iran is continuing to ignite the region with instability and chose to raise enrichment to 20 percent. Iran is a global and regional challenge and we too have our eyes open,” Gantz said in a video statement Tuesday.

“Everyone needs to join together in the fight against Iran, its regional terror activities and the threat of its nuclear armament,” he said.

Iran began enriching uranium Monday to levels unseen since its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers. The decision appeared aimed at increasing Tehran’s leverage in the waning days in office for US President Donald Trump, whose unilateral withdrawal from the atomic accord in 2018 began a series of escalating incidents.

Increasing enrichment at its underground Fordo facility puts Tehran a technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the action was “fully reversible” if other partners in the deal fully complied too, without elaborating.

Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency of its plans to increase enrichment to 20% last week.

Iran’s decision to begin enriching to 20% purity a decade ago nearly triggered an Israeli strike targeting its nuclear facilities, tensions that only abated with the 2015 atomic deal, which saw Iran limit its enrichment in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.

Other parties to the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plane of Action including the EU, UK, France and Germany have been scrambling to keep alive the accord aimed at curbing Iran’s nuclear program.
