Ilhan Omar: 'We expect Biden to move to the Left after election

Progressive Democratic lawmakers will pressure Joe Biden, if he wins next week’s presidential election, to implement a host of left-wing policies, Ilhan Omar said in an interview with Axios.

The Minnesota Congresswoman, one of four young first-term progressive-Left Democrats elected to the House of Representatives in 2018, said that the expanding “cohort” of far-left lawmakers in Congress will press a future Biden administration to move to the Left on issues ranging from the Green New Deal, universal Medicare, minimum wage hikes, and an immediate and total ban on fracking.

"We will have a cohort of progressives that are very clear about their objectives for wanting the implementation of Medicare for All and a Green New Deal and raising the minimum wage and not allowing for fracking," Omar said.

"There has been a level of responsiveness ... to the policies that we are advocating for that we know will have not just a future in his administration, but a future in the upcoming administrations after his.”

Omar objected to the possibility of Biden appointing centrist Republicans to his Cabinet, following a report by Politico that the Biden transition team is vetting several Republicans for Cabinet positions.

When asked how progressive Democrats could move Biden to the Left, Omar hinted that some Democratic lawmakers could block Biden’s agenda in Congress if the administration wavers.

"The president is only as successful as his collaboration is with Congress.”

Charedi rabbi: Start Shabbat early to help Trump win reelection

A prominent Charedi rabbi from central Israel is calling on followers to adjust their Sabbath practices, in order to ‘bless’ President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign days before the 2020 election.

Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh Diner, a prominent decisor of Jewish law from Bnei Brak, released a video message calling on Orthodox Jews to start the Sabbath ten minutes early this weekend, in order to ‘merit’ a Trump victory in next Tuesday’s presidential election.

“This week, in our holy land, we switched to the winter clock, meaning that night starts an hour earlier, and that affects us on the Sabbath very much.”

“In a few more days it will be the eve of the Sabbath, and everyone must be prepared for Shabbat to come in at around 4:30 p.m. instead of 5:30, so don’t wait until the last minute to get ready. That’s very difficult, since during the summer we have weeks were even by 7:00 we don’t have to be ready – and now it starts around 4:30, so we have get ready earlier.”

“We know that through the merit of the Sabbath, bringing in the Sabbath early can lead to deliverance and salvation.”

“Now we’re in a situation where next week there is the vote in the US for who will be the next president. And our dear friend, Rabbi Yitzhak Zilberstein, has already said that having Trump as president has done a great deal of good for the Jewish people and we appreciate what he as done.”

“So [Rabbi Zilberstein] had requested synagogues to recite the ‘Mi Sheberach’ prayer for healing [Trump].”

“And now, with the election a week away determining whether he will stay or go, continue or leave, we very much want him to win. We want him to win because it is good for the Jewish people and good for Torah learning and good for places where Torah is learned and good for observing the Torah. So what should we do?”

“Remember that when we bring in the Sabbath early, we have the merit of the Sabbath with us. That means that by bringing in the Sabbath early, we are asking God…to have mercy on us and to help us so that next week we can ensure the continuation of Trump’s term as president.”

“Of course anyone who can vote should go and vote for him. But by the merit of us strengthening the Sabbath, God will have mercy on us and we will merit to have Trump continue on and to strengthen the Torah.”

38 Times President Trump Has Condemned Racism and White Supremacy

The Trump campaign on Tuesday released a video compiling more than three dozen times President Trump has denounced White supremacy, as his Democratic rival Joe Biden and his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris of California continue to claim this week on the campaign trail that he has failed to do so.

The Trump campaign rolled out a nearly 5-minute-long video of the president, featuring video clips from as recently as this month, to his 2016 presidential campaign, and dating all the way back to an interview Trump gave to Matt Lauer in the early 2000s, where he denounced White supremacy and “disavowed” White supremacist groups.

Hunter Biden's Ex-Partner Speaks to Tucker Carlson

For Tony Bobulinski, the meetings with Joe Biden are unforgettable, and not because they had anything to do with politics. It’s because that’s when Bobulinski fully understood that Joe was very much involved in the foreign business schemes that son Hunter Biden and Joe’s brother Jim had cooked up.

The final proof came during two conversations over two days in May 2017. He first met the former vice president in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Joe was to speak the next day at the Milken Conference on the “moonshot project” of finding a cure for cancer.

“Hunter and Jim and I are there, and Hunter gets up and talks to his father when he comes in,” Bobulinski told me in a Tuesday interview. “He then brings Joe over and introduces me, saying he’s the one who’s helping us with the business we’re doing with the Chinese.”

If Joe Biden was honest with the public when he said he never discussed Hunter’s business with him, the next words out of his mouth would have been, “What business with the Chinese? What are you talking about, son?”

But that’s not what he said, according to Bobulinski (near right). Joe Biden didn’t look surprised or curious about Hunter’s introduction and, after a get-to-know-you conversation, Bobulinski remembers Joe saying, “My son and my brother trust you emphatically so I trust you. Good luck and work hard.”

Joe liked him, Hunter and Jim later said, which Bobulinski took as an official seal of approval.

The next morning, after the speech, Bobulinski says he was ushered backstage to greet Joe Biden again, then walked him to his car. He recalls the former veep’s parting remark as, “Keep an eye on my son and brother and look out for my family.”

Kamala Harris’s Disturbing Connection To Radical Pro-Hamas Organizations Revealed

Senator Kamala Harris, (D-CA) who has been chosen as Joe Biden’s running mate in his bid for the US presidency, has in the past endorsed and actively supported an American Muslim organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) which is unabashedly anti-Israel, supports BDS and has in the past been linked with the Holy Land foundation which was indicted for its support of terror group Hamas. According to a report by the Washington Beacon,  “as California’s attorney general and then as U.S. senator, Harris forged a relationship with CAIR.”

The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton A. Klein and Chair Mark Levenson, Esq. has called on Harris to repudiate CAIR for its blatant anti-Israel stance.

America To Recognize Israeli Settlements As Legal Under International Law

The United States and Israel will eliminate territorial restrictions for bilateral agreements in a ceremony on Wednesday.

The move will build upon a policy shift made by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this past November, in which America no longer recognizes Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria as illegal under international law.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman are slated to participate in a signing ceremony at Ariel University in Samaria.

The agreement will immediately expand scientific and academic cooperation to include projects within Judea and Samaria, and the Golan Heights—disputed territories under Israeli control. The United States recognized Israel’s full sovereignty over the Golan Heights in March 2019.

Israel captured Judea and Samaria, in addition to the Golan, from Jordan and Syria, respectively, during the defensive Six-Day War in 1967.

Israel formally annexed the Golan Heights in 1981. Judea and Samaria remain disputed territories and were divided into non-contiguous zones (“Area A,” “Area B” and “Area C”) of varying Israeli or Palestinian administrative and security control under the 1993 Oslo Accords.

Late Night Host Stephen Colbert Mocks “Hasidic” Singer "Shuuuuuuuuulem" Lemmer

Did late night comedian show host Stephen Colbert make fun of a Hasidic singer? That’s the question social media exploded with on Tuesday afternoon.

As can be seen in the video below, Colbert appears to be taking a swipe at Hasidic singer Shulem Lemmer, when mentioning there being a Hasidic singer in the lineup of artists recruited by the DOH to inform the public about COVID.

Lemmer responded on Twitter, trying to get the attention of Colbert.

“Hey @StephenAtHome, thanks for the shout-out! Though my involvement in this project was purely an attempt at Covid awareness, I’d love to join you on the @colbertlateshow sometime. And don’t worry, if you’re not happy, I’ll get you an Xbox.”
