New York's 250 Inmates Freed from Prison Rearrested 450 Times

                                                   

At least 250 convicted and accused criminals freed from New York’s Rikers Island prison have been rearrested 450 times thanks to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D) jailbreak directive.

New York Police Department (NYPD) data reported by NBC New York’s Melissa Russo reveals that since Cuomo issued a statewide order demanding jails and prisons release inmates to abide by social distancing measures in late March, at least 250 inmates from Rikers Island have been rearrested.

Russo reports:

Of approximately 2,500 defendants sprung from Rikers early because of COVID safety planning, at least 250 have been arrested again since, according to Michael LiPetri, chief of Crime Control Strategies for the NYPD. [Emphasis added]

Chief LiPetri tells NBC New York the NYPD did not object to releasing older defendants, nor those with underlying medical conditions. But he says the consequences of the larger-scale release of prisoners are now showing up in the arrest data, with those 250 re-offenders being arrested 450 times so far during the pandemic. [Emphasis added]

While the mass release of convicted and accused criminals in New York continues and violent crime surges, Mayor Bill de Blasio is vowing to cut NYPD funding. The reduction in funding for the police would come as murders have jumped 160 percent over the last week and burglaries are up 402 percent.

I am extremely frustrated. Today I was detained, held in custody, they tried to take my phone, and threatened me with arrest.

I am not talking about protests that are happening across America. I was walking in Jerusalem through my favorite historical site — the Temple Mount — with an old friend. I started to recount the history of the many temples that have stood there on Facebook LIVE, when I was informed (still on camera) that it is illegal to say that a temple stood on the Temple Mount.

Let that sink in for a moment.

I was told by the Waqf security forces that it is illegal to say a temple stood on The Temple Mount. Any temple, that is. There was nothing there before there was a mosque. From the time of Adam, there has only been a mosque there and it is disrespectful, Zionist lies that there ever was anything else. I urge you to watch the Facebook LIVE video below

Robberies and Rapes SKYROCKET In Antifa “Autonomous Zone,” Police Can’t Respond

Have you heard about the so-called “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” of Seattle claimed by far-left Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists?

 It’s a space that fills around four blocks of the city that has been occupied by armed Antifa activists for days now. Despite advocating against the wall at the southern border, protesters and rioters stole fencing from the police to mark the boundaries of their new territory and defend it using their own guns.

Seattle’s city government has refused to clamp down on the armed rioters and, as a result, people inside the “autonomous zones” have fallen victim to “rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts” according to Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best.

Is the future of US Jewry threatened?

The American Jewish community is under attack. 

During the high point of the riots in the USA, it was reported on Fox News that an African American man in camouflage threatened to harm the predominantly Jewish Diamond District in New York, which led to the police arresting him. 

This came after a Jewish camera store in Chicago and two Jewish restaurants in the DC area were targeted by the rioters. The windows of Chai Bar were smashed, while the Shouk restaurant was looted and even set on fire.

Similarly, the windows of a 200-year-old synagogue were smashed in Richmond and a beautiful piano store in Philadelphia faced the wrath of the rioters, who looted and defaced the musical instruments.

Further to the West, during the recent race riots in America, five synagogues and three Jewish schools were targeted in Los Angeles by rioters who yelled “effing Jews.” One of the synagogues was even defaced with graffiti that read “f_ck Israel” and “Free Palestine.”

Leading rabbi says "No reason to Boycott Reform & Conservative Leaders"

One of the leading rabbinic authorities in the religious Zionist movement, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed of Har Bracha,went on live TV to explain why he chose to participate in an open panel discussion with a female Reform "rabbi" at the Makor Rishon conference.

Rabbi Melamed said that although he was generally opposed to attending meetings or panels of any kind, when he heard that the discussion would be held with a Reform "rabbi", he immediately accepted the invitation.

"I do not usually attend conferences," said Rabbi Melamed, "but in the year leading up to this conference, a number of incidents took place in which the religious sector voiced the opinion that the Reform and Conservative movements should be boycotted altogether."

Watch: Undercover Police Arrest Two Terrorists in Abu Dis Near Jerusalem

A team of undercover Israeli police officers apprehended two Arab terrorists from Abu Dis east of Jerusalem in a pre-dawn operation Sunday morning.

The two terrorists were arrested on suspicion of having thrown firebombs at a Border Police jeep last month, in an attack that left the vehicle totally destroyed.

The attack occurred on May 8th, when the two suspects, both in their 30s, hurled firebombs at an armored Border Police jeep.

An investigation by the Shin Bet internal security agency led to the identification and location of the two terrorists, who were subsequently arrested by undercover police officers.

President Trump gave an inspirational speech at West Point on Saturday, pitched at the Class of 2020, which will carry the burden of seeing the country through this turning point in its history.

For them, no crisis is so serious that it can’t be grafted onto their psycho-narrative that Bad Orange Man is to blame for everything that has ever gone wrong in America.

Democrats are despicable in their mendacity, race-baiting and incitement of violence, but they have the excuse of trying to win an election.

It’s Never Trumpers who deserve the most scorn, especially the inadequates from the Lincoln Project. With anarchy on the streets and China on the warpath, they empower America’s enemies. We must never forget their treachery. They claim to be conservatives, yet they do everything they can to ensure America falls into socialist hands in November.

They style themselves as defenders of the traditional GOP, yet they endorse Joe Biden, with his problematic moral history, and promise to disarm Americans.

The Lincoln Project is the brainchild of embittered former GOP grifters who failed to anticipate the Trump phenomenon and were not talented enough to overcome their miscalculation.

Israeli Rabbis Are Divided Over Temperature Checks On Shabbat

Top Charedi Orthodox rabbis in Israel and the Sephardic chief rabbi of Israel are split over the use of thermometers on Shabbat as part of health checks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In Israel, the thermometers are used at the entrance to hospitals to make sure that people who enter do not have fevers, one symptom of the coronavirus. The thermometers could also be used by synagogues around the world to measure the temperature of worshippers arriving for Shabbat services.

Last week, five senior Charedi rabbis said in an official letter that the temperature checks mean that it is forbidden to enter the hospital on Shabbat, unless it is a life-threatening situation, Ynet reported.

“There are concerns about the prohibition of work on Shabbat in both the heat measurement and the writing generated on the monitor,” read the letter. The letter said hospitals could circumvent the issue by having non-Jews perform the checks.

But Israel’s Sephardic chief rabbi, Yitzhak Yosef, ruled on Sunday that it is permitted to enter a hospital on Shabbat if a person’s temperature is automatically taken, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The Zomet Institute, an Israeli nonprofit that designs electronics and other equipment that can be used by observant Jews on Shabbat, recently developed a digital thermometer that does not require users to engage in activities prohibited on Shabbat. The thermometer detects a temperature every four seconds, so no one needs to operate the electronic device to take a measurement, and the way the readings are displayed are designed not to constitute writing.

The dispute is one of countless examples of how the coronavirus pandemic has presented vexing new questions for Jewish law authorities — many of which have been resolved without consensus, even among Orthodox rabbis.
