Entenmann's Donuts Gets Hechsher Again !

The largest baking company in the United States will be keeping kosher certification on nearly all of its bread and rolls after all, JTAreported on Friday.

Bimbo Bakeries USA was set to remove kosher certification from major bread labels like Arnold and Sara Lee this year, but will no longer be doing so. The reversal comes after talks with the two kosher agencies that certified the bread, the Orthodox Union and Kof-K, according to the report.

“After hearing from our loyal kosher consumers and after productive meetings with our kosher certifiers, Bimbo Bakeries USA is pleased to announce that we will once again be offering kosher products under the Arnold, Sara Lee and Ball Park brands,” the company announced.

Bimbo Bakeries USA produces brands including Arnold, Sara Lee, Stroehmann, Freihofer's and others. It also produces Entenmann's and Thomas which would have remained certified kosher even if the kosher certification on the other brands were to be removed.

Officials at the kosher agencies told JTA last year that Bimbo bread labels were crucial for consumers outside major Jewish population centers who want kosher-certified bread.
Bimbo Bakeries USA is the US division of Grupo Bimbo, the Mexican company that is the world’s largest bakery.

Ancient coin With The Name Of Chashmonim King found on school trip

A student found the ancient coin in the eastern part of the stream during a recent school trip to the Shilo Valley.

The student asked the group’s tour guide about the coin, who then contacted the officer in charge of the Archeology Staff of the Civil Administration who came to the group. The student then handed the coin over.

The coin seems to be from the time of Agrippa I, who was a descendant of the Hasmonean dynasty from the Hanukkah story and the grandson of Herod. He ruled Judea in the 40s of the first century CE.

The coin has three stalks minted on one side, and the other side has a royal canopy surrounded by the inscription “King Agrippa.”.

“It is an exciting find. Every archaeological find has a story behind it that sheds light on the history of Land of Israel and the Nation of Israel,” said Hananya Hezmi, an officer of the archaeology staff at the Civil Administration.

“Findings like these complete another part of the historical puzzle of our people.”

Deri supported transferring the money to Hamas

He presents himself as a right-wing man, but when he sits in the cabinet he represents the left, his positions are all left-wing.

Last week in a cabinet meeting he supported transferring the money to Hamas.

Anyone who votes for Shas as long as Deri is in his head votes for a left-wing party, and only a fool would believe him!

"Rav"

On this daf, the Talmud relates that Resh Lakish and Reb Yochanan were sitting in the Bet Medrash and were discussing halachois in the name of Rav!

Who was Rav?

Rav was born in Baval and his actual name was Rav Abba bar Aiyvoh .... he was called "Rav" because he was the Rebbe of the entire Jewish people that lived in Galut!

R' Chiyah who was the distinct student of Reb Yehuda Ha'Nasie was Rav's uncle.
When R' Chiyah decided to make Aliyah, he took his nephew, Rav, with him and placed him in the Yeshivah of Reb Yehuda Ha'Nasie, where Rav thrived and became a great talmudic scholar.

Rav decided to return to Baval, his birthplace, but not before he received "Smicha" from Reb Yehuda Ha'Nasie which gave him the license to Judge and to Teach.

After a couple years in Baval, Rav again returned to Eretz Yisroel to continue his studies with Reb Yehuda and after R' Yehuda's demise, Rav continued learning with Rav Gamliel Ha'Nasie the son of R' Yehuda.
He then returned to Baval once more.

Leftists Now Fighting the "MAGA" Hats ...

Earlier this week we commented on the controversy involving an "Alter Kocker" Native American "veteran" banging his drum in the face of a high school kid wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
Leftists were outraged and accused the kid of racism. There were many vicious tweets—some calling for violence against the kid and his high school, including some death threats.
Then the Indian vet was shown to be a fraud. He didn’t serve in Vietnam and in fact he was a professional protestor and agitator. He aggressively zoomed in on the hat-wearing kid to provoke a reaction, to be used against Trump and his supporters.
I thought the story would quickly die down once it was proven that the Indian was the aggressor. I expected the Deep State media to ignore the story since it wasn’t going their way, but the reporting dragged on. I began to realize it wasn’t about the kids at all, but rather the MAGA hats they wore.

New Muslim Rep Omar Had Asked Judge for Leniency Toward Men Trying to Join ISIS

Embattled congressional freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) once asked a judge to show leniency toward a group of Minnesota men accused of trying to join the Islamic State terror group.
“The best deterrent to fanaticism is a system of compassion,” Omar wrote at the time. “We must alter our attitude and approach; if we truly want to effect change, we should refocus our efforts on inclusion and rehabilitation.”
The nine Minnesota men were facing decades in prison after being accused in 2015 of making plans, including buying fake passports, in an effort to travel to Syria and fight for ISIS, which was at its peak level of activity and held territory in Syria and Iraq.
Omar, who was then a Minnesota state representative, was part of a group that sent letters to Judge Michael Davis urging him to give shorter sentences, arguing that harsher penalties would only lead to more people joining the terror group.
