Two Girls Beaten by a Black Lady in Crown Heights

Two Jewish girls were victims of a senseless attack in broad daylight, just hours before Shabbos.
The incident occurred just after 3pm on President Street between Utica and Schenectady Avenues.
Two Jewish girls were walking to their house, when a black female in front of their house approached them, and punching one of the girls in the face, as well as hitting her with a rock.
The assailant fled down President St. toward Schenectady Ave, and turned down Schenectady towards Carroll St.
911 and Shomrim were called, and although they arrived quickly, were unable to locate the assailant.
The girl assaulted sustained injuries to her face, and was treated on scene by Hatzolah. The other did not sustain any injuries.

US Jews, move to Israel! Rabbi Riskin

Rabbi Shlomo Riskin
Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, the rabbi of the local council of Efrat and founder of Ohr Torah Stone, calls on US Jews to immigrate to Israel in the wake of the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre.

"As a rabbi in America, I always called on American Jews to immigrate to Israel and hundreds of families immigrated to Israel," said Rabbi Riskin, who immigrated to Israel himself. "I'm convinced that in the end there'll be no Jew who won't understand that his real home is here in Israel.

"I don't want them to make aliyah because of anti-Semitism," Rabbi Riskin clarified, "because they'll understand it's a better [place]. Efrat's much better and nicer. I hope the situation there won't be worse and they'll be forced to make aliyah quickly, but in the meantime they're in a state of caution. I don't say this is the end of American Jewry, but there's a message of danger now.

"I very much respect and like President Trump. He's a good president for the US and Israel. He said yesterday clearly that there should be people with weapons in every synagogue and every meeting so that if there are crazy people they can be stopped immediately."

"It's important that the shooter receive the death penalty. It must be clear that such anti-Semitism isn't accepted in America, and therefore it's important that the person who did it receive the death penalty. Maybe in Israel too they will learn from this and will also give the death penalty. When someone comes to kill you, you rise and kill him first.

"American Jewry isn't the only one that has to defend itself. It's a serious problem all over the world. In England, the situation is very acute, and especially if Corbyn is elected prime minister. In France there's a very frightening phenomenon. Thank G-d, we have the State of Israel and the Jews have a place to go."

Rabbi Riskin said that "the people of Israel are hated by the nations of the world because the nations understand only aggression and when there's a need for justice, and a nation that says that power isn't important but compassion, then those people hate it and see it as a danger.

"We're at a time when the people see that we're becoming stronger and more blessed. We're now a real force in the Middle East, and the people who want the opposite morality understand this. The aggressiveness and not the people who express their kindness and mercy [are the problem], and that's part of anti-Semitism today

FAKE "Jewish Group Causing Massive Chillul Hashem by telling Trump: "You are not welcome in Pittsburgh"

So Called "Leaders" from a Pittsburgh "Jewish group" have released an open letter – signed by more than 16,000 people (most signers are non-Jews) – to President Trump saying he is unwelcome in the city unless he denounces white nationalism after 11 people were massacred inside a synagogue.

Joshua Friedman, the ring leader, causes huge Chillul Hashem!

“For the past three years your words and your policies have emboldened a growing white nationalist movement,” wrote 11 members of the Pittsburgh affiliate of Bend the Arc, a national social justice group of progressive Jews, The Washington Post reported.
“You yourself called the murderer evil, but yesterday’s violence is the direct culmination of your influence,” they wrote in the letter, which was published Sunday.
“Our Jewish community is not the only group you have targeted. You have also deliberately undermined the safety of people of color, Muslims, LGBTQ people, and people with disabilities,” the letter continued.
“Yesterday’s massacre is not the first act of terror you incited against a minority group in our country.”
The letter was signed by Jamie Forrest, Joshua Friedman, Jamie Harris, Tammy Hepps, Harry Hochheiser, Sasha King, Jonathan Mayo, Elinor S. Nathanson, Avigail S. Oren, Kate Rothstein and Yael Silk.

Pro-Israel Jair Bolsonaro wins 56% of the votes in second round of voting in Brazil

Far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro won a sweeping victory in Brazil's presidential election on Sunday, the BBC reported.

With more than 90% of the vote counted, Bolsonaro – who has been dubbed “the Brazilian Donald Trump – had won 56% of the votes against 44% for his rival, Fernando Haddad from the left-wing Workers Party.

Bolsonaro, a staunch social conservative who ran on a law-and-order platform amid a massive spike in violent crime, won the first round of the presidential election on October 7 with 46% of the vote to Haddad’s 29%.

In the legislative elections, Bolsonaro’s SLP won 52 seats in the lower chamber of the Brazilian congress, a 44-seat increase, while the Workers’ Party fell from 69 seats to 56.
A former captain in the Brazilian army, Bolsonaro drew international attention after he compared himself to US President Donald Trump and declared himself “an admirer” of the American president.

Like Trump, Bolsonaro has vowed to relocate his nation’s embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Bolsonaro also called for the closure of the Palestinian Authority embassy in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia.
“Is Palestine a country? Palestine is not a country, so there should be no embassy here,” he said, adding, “You don’t not negotiate with terrorists.”

A month before the first round of the election, Bolsonaro was stabbed during a campaign rally in the city of Juiz de Fora in the south-eastern state of Minas Gerais.

Shaked at Lubavitcher Rebbe's grave

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked visited the grave of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in New York Sunday. Shaked lit a candle in his memory, recited Psalms for the success of her family and the State of Israel, and left a note with requests, as is the custom at the site.

Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, the director of the Kollel Chabad, Rabbi Shalom Duchman, and Rabbi Menachem Brod, Chabad emissary and community leader of the minister in north Tel Aviv, accompanied Shaked during her visit.

"The Chabad movement is doing holy work around the world and is helping many Jews wherever they are," said Shaked. "I had the honor to visit the Rebbe's Ohel today, to speak with the leaders of the community and to hear about the Rebbe's special leadership."

"Brit Milah That Is Done On Shabbat "

The Halachah is that if a baby is born on Shabbat, the Brit Milah (circumcision) will also take place on Shabbat, since the Torah explicitly writes that the day that a Brit Milah takes place is on the 8th day.

Since the 8th day in this case falls on the Shabbat, we do all that needs to be done to make sure that the Brit takes place, since a Brit in the correct time (8th day) takes precedence over the laws of Shabbat. In this case the Mohel may bring all the necessary  paraphernalia on Shabbat that would be required for the Brit.

BRIS MASSACRE IN PITTSBURGH 11 MURDERED

At least 11 people were killed after a gunman opened fire at Pittsburgh's Tree of Life synagogue. According to the report, the gunman yelled "All these Jews need to die".

The gunman has been preliminarily identified as 46-year-old Robert Bauer, a Trump hating anti-Semite. The shooting reportedly happened during a circumcision ceremony and over 12 people were shot. 80 people were in the Synagogue during the shooting. Bauer also shot three police officers.

The attack was condemned by President Trump, who tweeted that he is "Watching the events unfolding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Law enforcement on the scene. People in the Squirrel Hill area should remain sheltered. Looks like multiple fatalities. Beware of active shooter. God Bless All!"

Diaspora Affairs Minister Naftali Bennett condemned Saturday's grisly shooting, tweeting that "The State of Israel and the Israeli government received with shock and pain the reports of the terrible attack on the Jewish community in Pittsburgh. We anxiously follow the reports and pray that the event will end soon."

"At the same time, I have now instructed the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs to prepare to assist the community in every possible way. Our hearts are with the families of those killed and injured. May the memory of the murdered be blessed. "

Israeli officials say that Prime Minister Netanyahu is closely following the situation in Pittsburgh. The shooting was also condemned by Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog.
"A terrible massacre during the Shabbat service at the Etz Hayyim Synagogue in Pittsburgh," said Herzog. "We at the Jewish Agency are sore and distressed by the disaster of the warm Jewish community of Pittsburgh. The Jewish Agency is ready to assist in any way to the Jewish community in Pittsburgh and expresses its deep sorrow over the loss of life and the injury to the wounded."
