Interesting that he says that the Oct 7 massacre was not a "community tragedy" and totally disregards that they were murdered Al Kiddush Hashem being they were killed for one reason only, because they were Jews! Would the Rosh Yeshiva say that about those murdered in the Holocaust that weren't frum??
To Rav Schreiber the Oct 7 victims are not "his community" so he doesn't care about them! Though they were Jews! And 99.9% of the Jewish community mourned them.
He needs to be told that many frum people, from "HIS community" had children that went OTD and were in Nova and were brutally raped, mutilated and murdered. At least two families from Meah Shearim had daughters that were in Nova and murdered. These victims had mothers, fathers, siblings, cousins, and dear friends and some even had children. And this is just Nova, most of the casulties were from kibbutzim and who were on the roads.
I know of at least 6 people that were murdered on Oct 7 that were Shoimrei Torah Umitzvois who were in MADA and Hatzala, or were IDF soldiers !
