This reminds me of the group of approximately 12 children between the ages of 10-17 who sprayed the windshield, the exit doors , and the sides of my Yerushalayim city bus with whipped cream/ shaving cream(?) as it drove through a Charedi neighborhood. The kids were also banging and kicking the bus.I couldn’t tell if the driver was an Arab or a non- religious sefardi. The incident took place about 8:00pm at night. The driver was having a hard time moving the bus because of safety features on the bus preventing it from moving while the children were trying to pry open the doors. The children were unsupervised and no other adults in the street tried to stop these little hooligans. After the driver was finally able to “escape” I moved to the front of the bus and apologized for the children’s behavior. He responded with the words , “ This happens very frequently .”
